Kigoma Airport( IATA : TKQ, ICAO : HTKA) is an airport in western Tanzania serving Kigoma. It is located at the east area of Ujiji. The government of Tanzania is planning to improve the airport. [3] The Kigoma non-directional beacon (Ident: KG) is located on the field. [4] [5] Ground handling at the airport is conducted by the Livingstone Aviation Services Limited. [6]

The De Havilland Canada DHC-8, commonly known as the Dash 8, is a series of turboprop-powered regional airliners, introduced by de Havilland Canada (DHC) in 1984.
