Kim Pearson (born October 18,1962) is a former Republican Iowa State Representative from the 42nd District. She served one term in the Iowa House of Representatives from 2011 to 2013. She was born in Nebraska and raised in Iowa. [1]
Pearson served on several committees in the Iowa House —the Education,Education Oversight,Education Oversight (Joint),Human Resources,and Transportation committees. She also served as the vice chair of the Judiciary Committee.
In 2011,she endorsed Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul. [2]

Ronald Ernest Paul is an American author,activist,physician,and retired politician who served as the U.S. representative for Texas's 22nd congressional district from 1976 to 1977,and again from 1979 to 1985,as well as for Texas's 14th congressional district from 1997 to 2013. On three occasions,he sought the presidency of the United States:as the Libertarian Party nominee in 1988;and as a candidate for the Republican Party in 2008 and 2012.
Ray Zirkelbach is a former state legislator,prison counselor and soldier. He was raised on a farm in Scotch Grove,Iowa and graduated from Monticello High School in 1997. Zirkelbach served in the Iowa House of Representatives,representing the 31st District,from 2005 to 2011. He was deployed in Iraq as an Iowa National Guard sergeant,in the First Battalion of the 133rd Infantry. He holds a BA from the University of Wyoming in Administration of Justice.

On July 23,2013 Dandekar announced that she would be running for the U.S. Congress from the 1st congressional district;she lost in the primary to former state house speaker Pat Murphy,who himself lost to Rod Blum.
Dawn E. Pettengill is an American retired politician from Iowa. She was a member of the Iowa House of Representatives from 2005 to 2019,where she represented the 75th District. On April 30,2007,she switched to the Republican Party,having previously served in the House as a Democrat. In a letter to her constituents,Pettengill said she decided to switch parties due to disagreements with fiscal and labor policy,as well as the state Democratic Party's decision to take her off the incumbent protection list for the 2008 elections.
