John H. Wills (born February 18,1966) is an American politician serving as a member of the Iowa House of Representatives from the 10th district. Elected in November 2014,Wills assumed office on January 12,2015.
Wills was born and raised in Sibley,Iowa. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Northwestern College and two master's degrees from American Military University. [1]
As of January 2015 [update] ,Wills serves on the Human Resources,Natural Resources,and State Government committees,as well as the Agriculture and Natural Resources Appropriations Subcommittee. He also serves as the vice chair of the Environmental Protection Committee.
Wills is a founding member of Pheasants Forever in Osceola County and a member of the State Pheasants Forever Council. He is also a member of the Friends of Lakeside Lab and Veterans of Foreign War. [1]
Wills is a former vice president of the Okoboji Protective Association and has been involved in water quality and conservation organizations for more than 15 years. Wills has served in the military for 25 years,including in the Army National Guard.
Andrew C. Brock served as a Republican member of the North Carolina General Assembly,representing the state's thirty-fourth Senate district from 2003 to 2017. During his tenure,he represented Yadkin,Davie,Iredell,and Rowan counties. He also served as the Republican deputy whip in the Senate.
Mary Adelaide Lundby was a state Senator from the Iowa's 18th District. She served in the Iowa Senate from 1995 to 2009,serving as Minority Leader from 2006 to 2007 and as Co-Majority Leader in 2006. She also served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 1987 to 1995,serving as Speaker pro Tempore from 1992 to 1994. Prior to her election to the Iowa House,Lundby had served as the co-chair of the Linn County Republican party,as a member of the Linn County Republican Central Committee,and as staff assistant to then-senator Roger Jepsen. She graduated from Upper Iowa University,majoring in Political Science and History.
