Kimmari Roach (born 21 September 1990) is a Jamaican track and field sprinter who specialises in the 100 metres. He has a personal best of 10.12 seconds and was a 60 metres finalist at the 2014 IAAF World Indoor Championships. Roach is a member of Racers Track Club and is coached by Glen Mills. [1]
Born in Saint Andrew Parish, Jamaica, [2] Roach competed at the Jamaican High School Champs as a teenager but did not reach the podium. He made his impact at national level in 2009, winning the Jamaican universities 100 m title and setting a personal best of 10.38 seconds for third at the Kingston Classic meet. He improved to 10.34 to win at the 2010 Penn Relays. At the Jamaican Athletics Championships he ran a new best of 10.13 seconds in the semi-final, then placed third in the 100 m final. He competed in Europe for the first time that year with a win at the Weltklasse in Biberach being his highlight. He was twice runner-up on the 2011 Brazilian Athletics Grand Prix circuit. Roach failed to improve upon his best or make the Jamaican 100 m final that year and the two years after. [3]
A performance of 6.59 seconds in the 60 metres to take third at the 2014 Millrose Games gained him selection for the 2014 IAAF World Indoor Championships. In the semi-final he had a personal best run of 6.55 seconds, but was a little slower in the final, placing eighth in a close race. [4]
Darvis "Doc" Darell Patton is a retired American track and field athlete who competed in sprinting events. He is a two-time US Champion in the 200-meter dash and won the silver medal in the event at the 2003 World Championships. He is a three-time Olympian and a four-time participant at the World Athletics Championships.
Michael Frater O.D is a Jamaican retired sprinter who specialised in the 100 metres event. He won a silver medal at the 2005 World Championships and a gold medal at the 2003 Pan American Games for the event.

His personal best for that distance is 9.99 seconds, set in 2009. He has represented Jamaica three times at the IAAF World Indoor Championships and holds the Jamaican record for the indoor 150m.
Carmelita Jeter is a retired American sprinter, who competed in the 60 metres, 100 m and 200 m. For over a decade, between 2009 and 2021, Jeter held the title as "Fastest woman alive" after running a 100 m personal best of 10.64 seconds at the 2009 Shanghai Golden Grand Prix. In the 100 m, she was the 2011 world champion and the 2012 silver medalist. She is also a three-time Olympic medallist.
Richard "Torpedo" Thompson is a sprinter from Trinidad and Tobago who specializes in the 100 metres. His personal best of 9.82 seconds, set in June 2014, was one of the top ten fastest of all time, and a national record. In the 200 meters he has the fourth fastest time by a Trinidad and Tobago athlete.
Donovan Powell is a former sprinter who specialised in the 60 metres and 100 metres events. He is the brother of Asafa Powell, a former 100 m world record holder.

Mark Elliott Jelks is an American track and field athlete who specializes in the 100-meter dash. He has a personal best of 9.99 seconds for the event and represented the United States at the 2007 World Championships in Athletics. In 2014, Jelks made a change in eligibility in order to represent Nigeria internationally. He represented his new country at the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
Warren Weir is a retired Jamaican sprinter, who specialized in the 200 metres. He was the bronze medallist in the event at the 2012 London Olympics, helping Jamaica sweep the medals. In 2013 at the Moscow World Championships, Warren Weir won the silver medal equalling his personal best. He finished behind Usain Bolt who set a World Leading time. His personal best is 19.79 seconds set at the National Stadium in his home country Kingston, Jamaica. He has since equalled his personal best in Moscow, in the World Championship final. He trained with the Glen Mills-coached Racers Track Club, alongside Usain Bolt and Yohan Blake.
Yasmin Kwadwo is a German track and field athlete who competes in the sprints. Her personal best for the 100 metres is 11.29 seconds.
Omoghan "Omo" Osaghae is an American track and field athlete who competes in the sprint hurdles. He is coached by Texas Tech hurdles coach, Dion Miller. He has personal records of 7.45 seconds for the 60-meter hurdles and 13.23 seconds for the 110-meter hurdles.
Kyle Clemons is an American track and field sprinter who competed collegiately for the Kansas Jayhawks and specializes in the 400-meter dash. He was the 2014 champion at the USA Indoor Track and Field Championships and won a bronze medal at the 2014 IAAF World Indoor Championships. His personal best for the event is 44.79.

His greatest success was a gold medal in the 200 metres at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in 1996. His best time of 20.66 remains the Belgian indoor record for the event. He also holds bests of 10.17 seconds for the 100 metres and 6.69 seconds for the indoor 60 metres.
Christian Blum is a German track and field sprinter who specialises in the 100 metres and 60 metres. He holds personal bests of 10.20 seconds and 6.56 seconds for those events. He was the 60 m silver medallist at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in 2015. He has also won medals with the 4×100 metres relay team. He is a five-time German champion over 60 m.
Andrea Ivančević is a Croatian track and field athlete who specialises in the 100 metres hurdles. She has a best of 12.85 seconds for the event which is as well Croatian national record. She holds Croatian records in the indoor 60 metres and 60 metres hurdles. Ivančević has represented Croatia at the European Athletics Championships, European Athletics Indoor Championships and the IAAF World Indoor Championships
Jasmin Marie Stowers is a former American track and field athlete, who competed in the 100-meter hurdles. Her personal best for the event is 12.35 seconds, set in 2015, which ranks her 14th on the world all-time lists.
Ronald Levy is a Jamaican male track and field athlete who competes in the 110 metres hurdles. He holds a personal best of 13.05 seconds for that event, set in 2017, as well as a 100 metres sprint best of 10.17 seconds. He was the gold medallist at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and represented his country at the World Championships in Athletics in 2017.
