Kintambo is a municipality ( commune ) in the Lukunga district of Kinshasa, the capital city of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. [2]

It is situated in the northwest of the city of Kinshasa, at the junction of Boulevard du 30 Juin (or more accurately its short extension, Avenue du Colonel Mondjiba), Avenue Kasa-Vubu and Route de Matadi .

Lignes Aériennes Congolaises, also known by its acronym LAC, was an airline of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, with its head office in Kinshasa, and its central administration on the property of N'djili Airport in Kinshasa. The carrier has the latter airport as the base of its flight operations. It was liquidated in 2013.
