Kristy Yang (born 7 January 1974), also known as Yang Gongru, is a Chinese-Canadian actress based in Hong Kong.
Yang was born in Shanghai, China, to a Chinese father and Jenny Liu, Chinese-American. [2] Ms.Liu was invited to play the role in the film Shanghai 1976 (2008) and she has just known her father was an American soldier. Ms.Liu's mother had just a photo of him but in the end it's also burned in war. [3]
Kristy grew up in a single-family as her father left the family during her childhood. In 1985, Yang immigrated to Toronto, Ontario, Canada. [4] She has a step-brother who was born in Canada. [5]
Kristy graduated from York University after completing her high school education in 1993 at Rosedale Heights School of the Arts in Toronto.
In the summer of 1995, during a trip to Hong Kong, Yang participated in the Miss Asia Pageant beauty contest organised by ATV and earned the title of "Miss Asia 1995". [6] She also won the Miss Photogenic and Most Popular Contestant awards. Yang joined ATV and had been acting in several television dramas produced by ATV before venturing into the film industry.

Liu Yifei is a Chinese-born American actress. She has appeared multiple times on Forbes China Celebrity 100 list and was named one of the New Four Dan actresses of China by Tencent Entertainment in 2009. She is known for her roles in Chinese TV shows such as The Story of a Noble Family, Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils, Chinese Paladin, A Dream of Splendor, and The Tale of Rose. She became known to international audiences as the titular character in the Disney live-action film Mulan.

Hands in the Hair is a 2005 Chinese-Hong Kong romantic ethical film directed by Jiang Cheng and produced by Stanley Kwan. The film stars Rosamund Kwan, Wallace Huo and Francis Ng. Hands in the Hair premiered in mainland China on 7 March 2005 and released in Hong Kong on 14 April 2005.

It is airing on Tencent Video and WeTV from June 2, 2022, to July 24, 2022. Hong Kong's TVB was the first television station to broadcast this drama on TVB Jade from September 5, 2022, to October 14, 2022, previously on its streaming service MyTV SUPER from June 9 to July 2, 2022. It later went on national broadcast and aired simultaneously on Beijing Satellite Television from 22 November 2022.
