Himalayas Mountain range in Asia

The Himalayas, or Himalaya ; Sanskrit: himá and ā-laya, is a mountain range in South and East Asia separating the plains of the Indian subcontinent from the Tibetan Plateau. The range has many of Earth's highest peaks, including the highest, Mount Everest, at the border between Nepal and China. The Himalayas include over fifty mountains exceeding 7,200 m (23,600 ft) in elevation, including ten of the fourteen 8,000-metre peaks. Kula Kangri

Kula Kangri is claimed by many authorities to be the highest mountain in Bhutan but this is disputed by others, who claim that Kula Kangri is wholly in Tibet. The first ascent was by a combined Japanese and Chinese team in 1986. The mountain occupies two ranges, the Himalaya and the Bhutan Himalaya.

The Great Himalayas or Greater Himalayas probably is the highest mountain range of the Himalayan Range. Entities the range is within include Nepal, China, India, Pakistan and Tibet. The world's highest peak, Mount Everest, and other "near−highest" peaks - K2, Kangchenjunga, Lhotse, Nanga Parbat, etc, are part of the Greater Himalayas range. The total west to east extension of the great Himalayas is 2400 km and their average elevation is 6000 m. They are home to many glaciers like Gangotri Glacier, Satopanth Glacier etc.

As currently recognized, Codonopsis includes two other groups sometimes separated as distinct genera, i.e. Campanumoea and Leptocodon. Kangri Garpo

Kangri Garpo is a mountain range in eastern Tibet, located primarily in Nyingchi Prefecture as well as a portion of Qamdo Prefecture in the Tibet Autonomous Region, China. The mountain range lies to the east of the Himalayas and to the west of the Hengduan Mountains. The mountains are geographically a southern extension of the eastern Transhimalayas.
