Shaadi No. 1 is a 2005 Indian Hindi-language comedy film released in November 2005. The film, directed by David Dhawan, stars Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Zayed Khan, Sharman Joshi, Esha Deol, Ayesha Takia, Soha Ali Khan, Aarti Chabria, Riya Sen, Sophie Choudry, Satish Shah and Rajpal Yadav. The film was produced by Vashu Bhagnani.The film is a remake of the 2001 Kannada movie Kothigalu Saar Kothigalu by Rajendra Singh Babu.
Souten is a 1983 Indian Hindi-language drama film directed by Saawan Kumar Tak, starring Rajesh Khanna, Tina Munim, Padmini Kolhapure, Prem Chopra and Pran. It was written by Kamleshwar, with music by Usha Khanna. The song "Shayad Meri Shaadi" sung by Kishore Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar became especially memorable. Mohan Shankar, popularly mononymously as Mohan, is an Indian actor, writer and film director known for his work in Kannada cinema and television. After beginning his career staging, writing and acting in a variety of plays, his film career began in the late 1990s when he wrote screenplay and dialogue for a handful of Kannada-language films. After his acting debut came in Central Jail (1997), he became recognized for his roles in Yaarige Saluthe Sambala (2000), Kurigalu Saar Kurigalu (2001) and Kothigalu Saar Kothigalu (2001) and Malla (2004). Mohan turned director with Krishna Nee Late Aagi Baaro (2010) also co-starring himself.

B. C. Gowrishankar was an Indian cinematographer and an occasional film director and screenwriter who worked primarily in Kannada cinema. He was known for his unorthodox style as a cinematographer and was recognised for his work in both art and commercial films. Gowrishankar won six Karnataka State Film Awards during his career as a cinematographer. In 1988 he directed the fairly successful Elu Suttina Kote with Ambareesh, Gautami and a young Ramesh Aravind.

Pailwan marks Sunil Shetty's debut in Kannada cinema. The score and soundtrack of the film was composed by Arjun Janya. The film follows the journey of an orphan who goes on to become a wrestler and a boxer while getting into brawls with those who disrupt his personal life.
Second Hand is a 2013 Indian Telugu-language romantic drama starring Dhanya Balakrishna, Sudheer Varma, Kireeti Damaraju, Sree Vishnu and Anuj Ram. This film marks the debut of writer B. V. S. Ravi as a co-producer and Telugu debut of director Kishore Tirumala. Avaneedra, who previously worked for the Hindi film Bhoot Returns (2012), and Uma Shankar were the cinematographers for the film.
Chathrigalu Saar Chathrigalu is a 2013 Indian Kannada-language comedy film directed by S. Narayan. The final instalment in the Saar series, the film stars Ramesh Aravind, S. Narayan, Mohan, Umashree and Sanathahi.
