Kyle Pryor (born 10 January 1984) is an English actor. He is known for his roles as Nate Cooper in the Australian soap Home and Away and Laurie Shelby in the Channel 4 British soap opera, Hollyoaks . Before these appearances, he was a stunt man on several films including Underworld: Rise of the Lycans . He also acted on several New Zealand–based television dramas, including This Is Not My Life and Go Girls .
Pryor began training in the Korean Martial Art of Taekwondo at age 14. He competed in various National competitions, winning the British and English Championships in his weight and grade category. In 2003, he was awarded a 'Distinction' Black Belt. [1] He studied Martial Arts for many years as well as gymnastics. [2]
Between 2003 and 2006, he went to University of Worcester to complete a Joint Honours Bachelor of Arts in Media and Culture and Sports Science. [1] Before pursuing acting, he was employed at a prison and at a scuba-diving centre. [3] In late 2011, Pryor got full New Zealand Citizenship. [1]
Pryor emigrated to New Zealand in 2006 and he became a stuntman due to his fitness training and Martial arts skills on Underworld: Rise of the Lycans in 2009 and The Warrior's Way in 2010. [4] He then studied with acting teacher, Mr Michael Saccente, (who has also taught Karl Urban, [5] and Josh Thomson).
He got his first major acting role as Marcus in the series Spartacus: Blood and Sand in 2010. [5] In 2011, he appeared in Go Girls. [6] He later starred in This Is Not My Life , a local New Zealand production, and in the ABC series Legend of the Seeker , [5] part of which was filmed in Bulgaria. [2]
In 2012, the actor moved to Australia he audition for the role of Kyle Braxton. [2] He was considering returning to the UK, when he auditioned for the role of Andy Barrett in Home and Away in September 2013. He was unsuccessful, but was later cast as doctor Nate Cooper. [7] Pryor made his final appearance as Nate on 5 June 2017. [8]
On 7 August 2018, it was announced that Pryor had joined the cast of British soap opera Hollyoaks . [9] He left the show when his character Laurie Shelby was killed off in August 2019. [10] Pryor made a guest appearance in fellow British soap opera Emmerdale as Darren in December 2022. [11]
Pryor was previously engaged to creative director Julia-Rose O'Connor. [3] [12] He has been in a relationship with his former Hollyoaks co-star Anna Passey since 2019. [13]

Sienna Blake is a fictional character from the British Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks, played by Anna Passey. The character made her first appearance on 21 November 2012 and was introduced as the estranged twin sister of established character Dodger Savage, along with her father Patrick Blake. Emily Lawrance was originally selected for the role, however Passey replaced her within weeks and only she has appeared on-screen as Sienna. The character has had a daughter, Nico, with Dodger, and twins Sebastian and Sophie with Warren Fox, an affair with Darren Osborne, a marriage with Ben Bradley, an affair with Trevor Royle who was later killed by Nico, a relationship with her half-sister Liberty Savage's former boyfriend Brody Hudson, and been diagnosed with cervical cancer while pregnant. Passey took a short break from the show in early 2020 and was absent between 17 January and 30 March. On the episode aired on Channel 4 Streaming service on 21 August 2024 it was revealed that Patrick was not in fact Siennas father, it was in fact his twin brother Jeremy. Making Minnie and Dilly now her cousins, not half sisters.

Prior to her decade stint in Hollyoaks, Wall portrayed the role of Martina Quinn in the BBC soap opera EastEnders. Wall performed the role of Brooke Wyndham in the West End production of Legally Blonde. Wall also appeared as Karen in musical Viva Forever!. She made a guest appearance in One Night in 2012. In 2017, Wall appeared in the third celebrity special of The Crystal Maze.

Grace Roscoe is a fictional character from the British Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks, played by Tamara Wall. The character made her first on-screen appearance on 8 November 2013. Wall had three auditions for the role on the show's set in Liverpool. The character is introduced as the sister of Clare Devine, who had been killed off in earlier episodes. Grace arrives to investigate her death and get reacquainted with her estranged father Fraser Black.
Katarina Chapman is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera Home and Away, played by Pia Miller. The actress joined the cast in July 2014 following a successful audition. She began filming during the following month, and initially commuted from her home in Melbourne to the set in Sydney. Home and Away marked Miller's first major acting role. She made her first appearance during the episode broadcast on 5 February 2015. The actress was drawn to the part after reading that her character was a strong and resilient policewoman, who was not sexualised in any way. Miller wanted viewers to focus on Kat and not her appearance. The actress filmed her final scenes in August 2017 and Kat was killed off in the season finale, broadcast on 18 December 2017.
