Kylie Auldist (born 18 September 1968) is an Australian singer, best known as the singer of the Bamboos and Cookin' on 3 Burners. She has also released five solo albums.
Auldist recorded her first song at the age of six. [1] She is half Samoan. [2] She moved from Broken Hill to Melbourne to pursue a career as a singer. [3] She performed as a backing singer both live and on studio recordings with Renee Geyer and Jimmy Barnes. [1] She also worked with the groups Curtis Late, Secret Masters, Small Fish Deep Sea, and Megabias, as well as Polyester, whose guitarist, Lance Ferguson, also played with funk group the Bamboos. [4] She officially joined The Bamboos in 2006, debuting on stage at Meredith Music Festival in a late night set.
In 2008 she travelled with the band to the UK, where she was immediately signed to Brighton record label Tru Thoughts. [5] Auldist recorded vocals for the 2009 Cookin' on 3 Burners song "This Girl", which went to number one on the iTunes R&B chart in the UK. [6]
In 2012, Auldist released her third full-length for Tru Thoughts, entitled Still Life. [7] [8]
At the Music Victoria Awards of 2013, Auldist won Best Soul, Funk, R'n'B and Gospel Album for Still Life. [9]
In 2014 she performed on Katie Noonan's album Songs That Made Me , which debuted at number 7 on the ARIA compilation chart. [10]
Auldist performed three sets at Woodford Folk Festival in December 2014. [11]
In 2016, Auldist's vocals on "This Girl" with Cookin' on 3 Burners, remixed by Kungs, charted in the United States, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Belgium, the Netherlands and Australia. [12]
Auldist is married and has a son, who is also a musician. They live in Glenroy, Victoria. [13]

The Herd is an Australian hip hop group formed in Sydney. The group employs a "full band" format and is recognised for its live shows. The Herd is composed of Ozi Batla, Urthboy, Berzerkatron (MCs), Unkle Ho (beats), Traksewt, Sulo, Toe-Fu (guitar), Rok Poshtya (bass) and singer Jane Tyrrell. The band's songs often feature politically oriented lyrics. The group has been largely inactive since 2013, reuniting for select performances.
Gyan Evans, who performs as Gyan, is an Australian singer-songwriter and record producer. She began her musical career in the Sydney band Haiku before winning the 1986 grand final in the local version of the TV talent quest Star Search. This led to a recording contract with Warner Music, which resulted in her October 1989 debut self-titled album. It peaked in the top 30 on the ARIA Albums Chart and provided "Wait", which reached the top 20 on the ARIA Singles Chart. At the ARIA Music Awards of 1990 she won the ARIA Award for Best New Talent.

San Cisco is an Australian indie pop band that formed in 2009 in Fremantle, Western Australia. The band are a three-piece, and currently consists of Jordi Davieson, Josh Biondillo and Scarlett Stevens. Davieson and Biondillo share duties on keyboards. In November 2011, the band was signed by Albert Productions, but moved to Island Records for the release of its debut album. In October 2012, the band described its 'vibe' as "squelchy, crispy, streamlined, hairy, indie". At the ARIA Music Awards of 2013 the group were nominated for Best Independent Release and Best Dance Release for the album; and Best Video for "Fred Astaire", which was directed by Andrew Nowrojee.

"This Girl" is a song by Australian funk trio Cookin' on 3 Burners, featuring vocals by Kylie Auldist, released on 22 June 2009 as the second single from the group's second album, Soul Messin. A remix by French DJ and record producer Kungs was released as a digital download on 19 February 2016 by House of Barclay as the lead single from his debut studio album, Layers (2016), which found major success across Europe.
Cookin' on 3 Burners are an Australian funk trio from Melbourne, consisting of Jake Mason, Dan West and Ivan Khatchoyan. Their 2009 song "This Girl" was remixed by French DJ and record producer Kungs and released in February 2016. It became a massive hit, peaking at number one in France, Germany, Belgium, Hungary, Latvia, Scotland and number 2 on the UK Singles Chart.
Julia Jacklin is an Australian singer-songwriter from the Blue Mountains region of New South Wales. Jacklin's musical style has been described as indie pop, indie folk, and alternative country. She has released three studio albums, Don't Let the Kids Win (2016), Crushing (2019) and Pre Pleasure (2022). D.D Dumbo was the solo project of the Australian, Castlemaine-based musician, Oliver Hugh Perry, who began the project in 2013 with the release of his self-titled debut EP Tropical Oceans, released by The Blue Rider in 2013 and later re-released by 4AD in 2014. The EP received positive reviews and from here, Perry was invited to attend South by Southwest in the same year, where he was signed by 4AD. Perry also supported Warpaint, Tune-Yards, St. Vincent, Jungle and Iron & Wine in 2013.
