History

Kyrgyzstan competed in its first Fed Cup in 2003. Their best result was finishing runner-up in Asia/Oceania Zone Group II in 2010, beating Philippines, Syria and Hong Kong, before losing to India in the promotion play-off. Prior to 1993, Kyrgyzstan players represented the Soviet Union.

They lost their first Fed Cup match against the Philippines with their first win being their 3-0 victory over Turkmenistan in their second Fed Cup game. Prior to their Fed Cup debut in 2020, Guam was previously affiliated with the Pacific Oceania team.

The Mongolia Fed Cup team represents Mongolia in Fed Cup tennis competition and are governed by the Mongolian Tennis Association. They took part in the Fed Cup for the first time in 2020, competing in the Asia/Oceania Zone Group II.

Canada defeated Italy in the tennis final, 2–0, in winning the 2023 Billie Jean King Cup. This was Canada's first final and title at the Billie Jean King Cup.
