Toriyama is regarded as one of the artists that changed the history of manga,as his works are highly influential and popular,particularly Dragon Ball, which many manga artists cite as a source of inspiration.
Case Closed,also known as Detective Conan,is a Japanese detective manga series written and illustrated by Gosho Aoyama. It has been serialized in Shogakukan's Weekly Shōnen Sunday since January 1994,with its chapters collected in 100 tankōbon volumes as of October 2021. Due to legal problems with the name Detective Conan,the English language releases from Funimation and Viz were renamed to Case Closed. The story follows the high school detective Shinichi Kudo who was transformed into a child while investigating a mysterious organization and solves a multitude of cases while impersonating his childhood best friend's father and other characters.

Buso Renkin is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Nobuhiro Watsuki. It follows Kazuki Muto,who becomes an alchemical warrior in the battle against alchemical monsters known as homunculi. Watsuki envisioned the manga as his last shōnen manga,and then he tried to do as much as he could with that genre. It was serialized in publisher Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine from June 2003 to April 2005. The individual chapters were republished by Shueisha in ten tankōbon. The series has been licensed by Viz Media for North American release.

GeGeGe no Kitarō (ゲゲゲの鬼太郎),originally known as Hakaba Kitarō,is a Japanese manga series created in 1960 by Shigeru Mizuki. This story was an early 20th-century Japanese folk tale performed on kamishibai. It has been adapted for the screen several times,as anime,live action,and video games. The word GeGeGe (ゲゲゲ) in the title is Japanese sound symbolism for a cackling noise.
Judo Boy is a Japanese anime television series created by Tatsuo Yoshida and directed by Ippei Kuri. The series aired on Fuji TV from April 2,1969 to September 24,1969,totaling 26 episodes. Two manga adaptations were created,the first published in Shogakukan's Weekly Shōnen Sunday from July 28 to November 17,1968,and a 4-chapters series in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump from May 22 to July 10,1969.
Star of the Giants is a Japanese sports manga series written by Ikki Kajiwara and illustrated by Noboru Kawasaki. It was serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine from 1966 to 1971. It is about the actual baseball team Yomiuri Giants using fictional characters. It was launched by the "Yomiuri Group" which at the time owned not only the actual baseball team,but the TV network Nippon Television,the newspaper Yomiuri Shimbun,as well as Yomiuri Telecasting Corporation. It was adapted into an anime television series broadcast in Japan in 1968. It later spawned two anime sequels and different anime movies.

Noboru Kawasaki is a Japanese manga artist. He is most famous for drawing the series Star of the Giants. He won the 14th Shogakukan Manga Award in 1969 for Animal 1 and Inakappe Taishō as well as the eighth Kodansha Children's Manga Award for Star of the Giants in 1967 and its successor Kodansha Manga Award in shōnen category for Football Hawk in 1978. He is also the creator of The Song of Tentomushi,Skyers 5 and Kōya no Shōnen Isamu.
IchirōMurakoshi was a Japanese narrator and voice actor from Tokyo,Japan. He was a Waseda University graduate. His real name was Yoshikazu Murakoshi.
Riichiro Inagaki is a Japanese manga writer from Tokyo. He started his career in 2001 publishing works for Shogakukan's magazine Big Comic Spirits. After three one-shots,he moved to Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump,in which he started the work he is best known for,Eyeshield 21. In collaboration with the artist Yusuke Murata,Eyeshield 21 was serialized between July 2002 and June 2009 in Weekly Shōnen Jump. Between 2010 and 2015,Inagaki collaborated with several artists,including Bonjae,Katsunori Matsui,and Ryoichi Ikegami,and published one-shots in different magazines. He started a new serial titled Dr. Stone in Weekly Shōnen Jump in 2017 in collaboration with Boichi.
Hanada Shōnen Shi is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Makoto Isshiki about a mischievous young boy,called Hanada Ichiro,who attains the ability to see and talk to the supernatural after an accident to the back of his head. Its chapters were collected in six tankōbon volumes. Viz Media published the first three chapters for its "Jump Start" initiative. Shueisha simulpublished the series in English on their app and website platform Manga Plus in January 2019. A 50-episode anime television series adaptation by ODDJOB was broadcast on TV Tokyo from April 2019 to March 2020.
