"La teva decisió (Get a Life)" (Catalan pronunciation:  [lə ˈteβə ðəsiziˈo] ; "Your decision") is a song by Susanne Georgi and was the Andorran entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009, as well as the country's last entry to the Eurovision Song Contest. It was performed in both Catalan and English, [1] [2] and it was composed by Rune Braager, Marcus Winther-John, Lene Dissing, Susanne and Pernille Georgi, with lyrics by Josep Roca Vila. [3]

The song competed in the first semi-final on 12 May 2009, performing seventh in the running order, following Armenia's Inga & Anush with "Jan Jan", and preceding Switzerland's Lovebugs with "The Highest Heights". It failed to reach the final, garnering only 8 points.

Andorra in the Eurovision Song Contest

Andorra has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest six times, debuting in the 2004 contest and participating every year thereafter until the 2009 contest. As of 2021 the nation remains the only country to have never competed in a grand final, with their best result being a 12th-place finish in the 2007 semi-final and thus failing to qualify. Andorra withdrew from the contest following their 2009 appearance, with the national broadcaster Ràdio i Televisió d'Andorra (RTVA) citing financial difficulties preventing their continued participation, and the country has not entered the contest again since. Interest in the contest has however remained high in the principality, while recent statements from the Andorran government and broadcaster indicate a return could be favourable dependent on financial backing.

Jugarem a estimar-nos

"Jugarem a estimar-nos" was the debut entry for Andorra in the Eurovision Song Contest, being performed in the semi-final of the 2004 contest by Marta Roure. The song is in Catalan, the first time an entry in this language was sung in the contest.

La mirada interior

"La Mirada Interior" was the Andorran entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005, performed in Catalan by Marian van de Wal. As Andorra's previous entry had not finished in the top ten, the song was performed in the semi-final.

Sense tu

"Sense tu" was Andorra's entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006, performed in Catalan by Spanish singer Jenny.

Andorra participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 with the song "La mirada interior" written by Rafael Artesero, Daniel Aragay and Rafa Fernández. The song was performed by Marian van de Wal. Andorran broadcaster Ràdio i Televisió d'Andorra (RTVA) organised a national final in order to select the Andorran entry for the 2005 contest in Kyiv, Ukraine. The national final consisted of two stages, one which selected the chosen artist and one that determined the song that would be performed. The winner of the national final was selected by a 50/50 combination of jury voting and televoting from the Andorran public, which eventually resulted in the selection of Marian van de Wal to be the second Andorran representative for Eurovision.

Andorra participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 with the song "Salvem el món" written and performed by young Andorran punk-rock band Anonymous, consisting of band members: Guillem Gallego, Niki Francesca and Alejandro Martínez. The band was internally selected by Andorran broadcaster Ràdio i Televisió d'Andorra (RTVA) in a process called Projecte Eurovisió for the 2007 contest in Helsinki, Finland. The internal selection ended with a total of 82 songs having been submitted to RTVA. These entries were whittled down by the broadcaster to determine the fourth Andorran representatives. Anonymous were announced as the Andorran representatives on 15th January 2007, while the song was presented in a special gala show on 1 March 2007.

Susanne Georgi Nielsen, commonly known as Susanne Georgi, is a Danish-Andorran singer who lives and works in Andorra and represented the country in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009.

Salvem el món 2007 song by Anonymous

"Salvem el món" was the Andorran entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007, performed in Catalan and English by Anonymous. This was the first Andorran entry not to feature monolingual Catalan lyrics and not to be performed by a female soloist, with all the members of the band being male.

Andorra took part in the Eurovision Song Contest for the first time in 2004. The country was represented by Marta Roure and the song "Jugarem a estimar-nos". The song was chosen through a national final, 12 Punts, which was jointly organized by Andorran broadcaster Ràdio i Televisió d'Andorra (RTVA) and Catalan broadcaster TV3.

Melodifestivalen 2009

Melodifestivalen 2009 was a Swedish song contest held between February and March 2009. It was the selection for the 49th song to represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest, and was the 48th edition of Melodifestivalen. Five semi-finals were held in the Swedish cities of Gothenburg, Skellefteå, Leksand and Malmö, with Norrköping hosting the final Andra Chansen round.

Denmark in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009

Denmark participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 held in Moscow on 16 May 2009. Denmark was represented by Brinck with the song "Believe Again". Two other Danish-born contestants also participated at the 2009 Eurovision contest: Susanne Georgi represented Andorra and Yohanna represented Iceland.

"Jan Jan" is a song by Armenian singers Inga and Anush Arshakyan, and was the Armenian entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009, held in Moscow, Russia. It was composed by Mane Akopyan, with lyrics by Vardan Zadoyan and Avet Barseghyan.

Eurovision Song Contest 2010 55th Eurovision Song Contest

The Eurovision Song Contest 2010 was the 55th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Oslo, Norway, following the country's victory at the 2009 contest with the song "Fairytale" by Alexander Rybak. It was the third time Norway had hosted the contest, having previously done so in 1986 and 1996. Organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and host broadcaster Norsk rikskringkasting (NRK), the contest was held at the Telenor Arena, and consisted of two semi-finals on 25 and 27 May, and the final on 29 May 2010. The three live shows were presented by Erik Solbakken, Haddy N'jie and Nadia Hasnaoui.
