The company has arranged broadcast placement among platforms such as Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, [3] Cartoon Network, BBC, ITV Network, GMTV, Sky TV, TF1, France Television, M6, Lagardere, [4] YTV, Mediaset, RTL II, TEN Network, Nine Network, Telecinco, Antena 3, Télé-Quebec, Universal Kids, including major over-the-top (OTT) media services. CEO Brian Lacey is also credited as executive producer of a number of co-productions involving French, UK, Canadian, Japanese, Korean, and other Asian broadcasters and producers. [8]

Timeline

The company was founded in 1994 by executive Brian Lacey, who has had prior involvement with popular children's content such as Pokémon , Yu-Gi-Oh , and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles . [9]

In 1996, the company introduced the light entertainment series America's Dumbest Criminals . [10] Despite not being the US distributor for the series, Lacey Entertainment co-owns all rights to the brand. [11]

In 1997, Lacey Entertainment co-produced the Mr. Men and Little Miss property and the 52 episode comedy series, The Mr. Men Show. The series was released in America via first-run syndication, then later broadcast on Cartoon Network.

In the early 2000s, the company worked on the rollout of the Japanese animated comedy cult series Crayon Shin-chan in over 90 countries, with Brian Lacey as the executive producer of the English adaptation.

In 2016, the company made a worldwide (excluding the US) broadcast agreement with Viacom for the children's animated series Kiva Can Do! from the Dublin-based studio Kavaleer Productions to be broadcast on the Nick Jr. Channel platforms.
