Lak Tarashan (Persian : لاك تراشان‎, also Romanized as Lāk Tarāshān)^[1] is a village in Mehravan Rural District, in the Central District of Neka County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 284, in 75 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Mehravan Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Neka County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 10,884, in 2,681 families. The rural district has 18 villages.
