The Langroud River is one of the calmest rivers in Gilan province in northern Iran. Throughout the year, except during very heavy rainfall, this river never shows signs of flooding or fast-flowing water.
The Langroud River originates from the heights of Siyahkal and Rudbar, particularly from the heights of Delfak (Darfak). After passing through areas such as Deylaman, Siahkal, Lahijan, and Langroud, the river flows towards Chamkhaleh.
The Langroud River connects to the Shalman River one kilometer from the Caspian Sea and subsequently flows into the Caspian Sea.
