Lapu Sahra (Persian : لپوصحرا‎, also Romanized as Lapū Şaḩrā; also known as Labū Şaḩrā)^[1] is a village in Chapakrud Rural District, Gil Khuran District, Juybar County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 170, in 40 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Chapakrud Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Gil Khuran District, Juybar County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 9,465, in 2,334 families. The rural district has 18 villages.

Gil Khuran District is a district (bakhsh) in Juybar County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 20,875, in 5,362 families. The District has one city: Kuhi Kheyl. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Chapakrud Rural District and Larim Rural District.
