Laragh United are a Gaelic football club from Laragh and Stradone, County Cavan in Ireland. They are affiliated to Cavan GAA.
In 1972 two local teams Laragh and Stradone amalgamated under the name St Brigid's for the Cavan Senior Football Championship. They reached the final, losing to the great seven-in-a-row Crosserlough. The success united the parish and in 1973 they came together under one name Laragh United. The club has the distinction (along with another Cavan club, Ramor United) of being one of the few GAA clubs with the suffix United.
It wasn't long before Laragh United delivered their first major success. In 1974 they won the Cavan Minor Football Championship and repeated the feat in 1976 and 1977. They won the Cavan Under-21 Football Championship in 1975 and 1976. This underage success was converted to senior success as they won their first Cavan Senior Football Championship in 1979 defeating Crosserlough. More Senior Football Championships followed and they won three-in-a-row between 1982 and 1984.
In recent years Laragh United have faded from the senior scene. 10 years after their last Senior Football Championship they were victorious at intermediate level winning the Intermediate Football Championship. Soon after Laragh fell into the Junior Football Championship but in 2012 they beat Mountnugent and were back in the Intermediate Football Championship. [1]
In 2019 Laragh United once again joined the senior ranks when they defeated Belturbet in the Intermediate Football Championship final.
Laragh United's jersey is orange with white trim, white shorts with orange trim and orange socks with white trim.

Ardclough is a Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) club in Ardclough, County Kildare, Republic of Ireland, whose biggest achievements include winning the Kildare County Senior Football Championship after a replayed final against the Army in 1949, winning 13 Kildare County Senior Hurling Championships, the latest in 2017 beating Naas in the final, defeating Buffer's Alley in the 1976 Leinster Senior Club Hurling Championship and winning the Leinster Intermediate Club Hurling Championship in 2006. Five Ardclough players featured on the Kildare hurling team of the millennium: Richie Cullen, Tommy Christian, Bobby Burke, Johnny Walsh and Mick Dwane. Bridget Cushen was selected on the Kildare camogie team of the century. Current (2011) Kildare senior hurling panellists are Richie Hoban and Martin Fitzgerald.
Celbridge is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in Celbridge, County Kildare, Ireland. They were awarded Kildare GAA club of the year in 2008, winners of the Kildare senior football championship of 2008, finalists in the senior football league of 1923, 1988 and 2008 and won the Kildare senior hurling and camogie championships in 2005. The club has also won several honours at underage levels in all three codes, qualifying for national finals in football, hurling and camogie at the 2008 Féile.

Laragh or Larah is a civil parish in County Cavan, Ireland. The principal village in the civil parish is Stradone which is located 1 km from the N3 national road. Laragh is also an ecclesiastical parish in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Kilmore. There are three churches in the parish namely in Larah, Clifferna and Carrickallen. There are two national schools, at Larah and Clifferna, respectively.
Kilruane MacDonaghs GAA is a Tipperary GAA club which is located in County Tipperary, Ireland. Both hurling and Gaelic football are played in the "North-Tipperary" divisional competitions. The club is centred on the villages of Kilruane, Ardcroney and Cloughjordan. The club was founded in 1937 and is named after Thomas MacDonagh, a signatory of the 1916 Proclamation who was born and lived in Cloughjordan. The clubhouse and playing field are located in Cloughjordan.

The club was founded in 1957 following the merging of 2 clubs in Cavan Town, Cavan Harps and Cavan Slashers. They are the second most successful team in Cavan GAA history. They have 14 Senior Championship titles, the most recent being in 2017 when they beat Castlerahan on a score line of 0-13 to 0-08. Cavan Gaels appeared in 16 of the 20 Cavan Senior Football Championship finals between 1998 and 2017 winning 10.
Éire Óg-Corrachoill is a hurling club based in the parish of Caragh in County Kildare. The parish of Caragh includes the village of Caragh itself, surrounding townlands and Prosperous village which is situated about 3 km north-west from the village. The club is the result of an amalgamation which occurred in 1994 between Éire Óg of Caragh and Corra Choill of Prosperous. The first record of any kind of success in the Caragh parish area involves the Clongorey Campaigners. RIC records from 1890 show that Clongorey Campaigners had 38 members with Dan Kelly, John Murphy, Pat Fullam and James Kelly listed as officers. Clongorey reached the Senior Hurling Championship final in 1891 and but were defeated by Maynooth. Their home ground is in donore just opposite the motor racing circuit Mondello Park.

Andrew O. McCabe was an Irish Gaelic footballer who played at club level with Crosserlough and at inter-county level with the Cavan senior football team. He usually lined out as a defender.
