Late Night Tales presents Automatic Soul is a mix album compiled by Tom Findlay of English electronic music duo Groove Armada, released 3 November 2014 as part of the Late Night Tales series. [1]

Contents

The mix features tracks from artists such as Mtume, Zapp, Donna Allen, The Gap Band, Alexander O'Neal and Thelma Houston. [2] As Sugardaddy, Findlay and Tim Hutton recorded an exclusive cover version of Dennis Edwards’ "Don't Look Any Further" for the release.

Andrew Derek Cocup Sr., known professionally as Andy Cato, is an English musician, record producer, DJ and farmer who is currently one half of the electronic music band Groove Armada, the other half being Tom Findlay. He was also involved with Rachel Foster in Weekend Players, another electronic dance group, between 2001 and 2004. His stage name of Cato derives from Cato Road in Clapham, South London, where he lived.

Night Time Stories is an English independent record label founded by Paul Glancy in 2009. It is notable for releasing the Late Night Tales compilation series since 2009 by artists such as Trentemøller, Röyksopp, Bonobo, Jon Hopkins, Bill Brewster, Groove Armada, and Floating Points among many others, while label founder Glancy has been helming the project since 2003. In 2013, Night Time Stories started to release original material by artists such as Khruangbin, Session Victim, Leifur James, Sasha, Ash Walker, Garden City Movement, and Rae & Christian.
