Latino Velvet Project is the debut album of West Coast supergroup Latino Velvet. The group is composed of Jay Tee &Baby Beesh. Frost and Don Cisco both make multiple guest appearances on the album,as well as several other West Coast heavy-weights. The original version of the album was released on Swerve Records on September 16,1997,and was quickly out-of-print and is now considered rare. [2]
On April 14,1998 Latino Velvet Project was reissued on Lightyear Entertainment and the cover photo altered and title changed to Latino Velvet Clique .

On April 14,1998 Latino Velvet Project was reissued on Lightyear Entertainment and the cover photo altered and title changed to Latino Velvet Clique. This version includes two new remixes of the song "Raza Park",featuring Frost,Roger Troutman and Don Cisco. The original version of "Raza Park" featuring Don Cisco isn't included here,however it does appear on the 2004 mixtape,Menudo Mix. Other than two other tracks being omitted,"Whuzz' Up Homeboy" and "It Goes Down",the rest of the original 1997 release is available here on Clique.
Arturo R. Molina Jr.,better known as Frost,is an American rapper,songwriter and record producer from Los Angeles. He charted in the 1990s with his first four albums:Hispanic Causing Panic,East Side Story,Smile Now,Die Later and When Hell.A. Freezes Over. His most successful single is "La Raza" which hit number 6 on the rap songs chart in August 1990. Frost was an integral part of the Latin Alliance,releasing one album,1991's Latin Alliance.

The Best of Mac Dre is the first "best of" album by Mac Dre. It was released in 2002 by Sumo/Thizz Entertainment ©. It is the first compilation of his hit songs,later followed by The Best of Mac Dre,Vol. 2 &3. Though Mac Dre was killed by gunshot on November 1,2004,his Bay Area legacy lives on through his music. This album features other Bay Area hip hop legends such as Keak da Sneak,Messy Marv,and San Quinn.
