Lawn Mower Man is the second solo studio album by Canadian rapper Madchild. It was released on August 6, 2013 via Battle Axe/Suburban Noize Records. Production was handled by C-Lance, Rob the Viking, Chin Injeti and The iKonz, with Kevin Zinger and Madchild serving as executive producers. It features guest appearances from Sophia Danai, Bishop Lamont, JD Era, Prevail and Slaine. The album peaked at number two on the Canadian Albums Chart and at number 150 on the US Billboard 200.

La Coka Nostra is an American hip hop supergroup currently composed that of Danny Boy, Slaine, DJ Lethal, and Ill Bill. In 2004, its creation started when Danny Boy brought two young artists, Slaine and Big Left, to meet Dj Lethal his DJ from his former group House of Pain. They decided to make a group, whose name came about when O'Connor teased other members with that nickname after they had a night out. They started releasing music on MySpace, and went viral.

Pranam "Chin" Injeti is a Canadian singer, musician, and music producer. He got his start as a founding member of Juno Award-winning group Bass is Base. He frequently collaborates with producer DJ Khalil; together they have written and produced songs for Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Drake, Clipse, Eminem and Pink. Injeti's work with Eminem and Lecrae has garnered 3 Grammy Awards, as well as Grammy nominations for Aloe Blacc's Lift Your Spirit and Pink's The Truth About Love.

Shane Bunting, better known by his stage name Madchild, is a Canadian rapper. He is part of the Vancouver-based hip hop group Swollen Members. In 2009, he released a solo EP titled The Madchild EP. In 2012, he released his first album, titled Dope Sick followed by Lawn Mower Man in 2013 and Silver Tongue Devil in 2015. In 1993, he was named a member of the Rock Steady Crew. The Darkest Hour was released in 2017.

Khalil Abdul-Rahman Hazzard, professionally known as DJ Khalil, is an American music producer and DJ from Los Angeles. The son of NBA player Walt Hazzard, he signed with rapper Dr. Dre's record label, Aftermath Entertainment, as in-house talent in 2001. The New Royales are a four-person music group consisting of members DJ Khalil, Chin Injeti, Liz Rodrigues, and Erik Alcock. Since forming in 2007, they have worked together as producers and songwriters for artists such as Eminem, Pitbull, Pink, Bishop Lamont, Jay Electronica and more. The group is known for incorporating musical styles from multiple genres, drawing influence from hip hop and soul, Brazilian and Portuguese music, to rock and pop music.

JD Era is a Canadian rapper and lyricist. He has worked with artists such as Nas, Gza, Kardinal Offishall, The Clipse, and has also cut several tracks with longtime friend Drake. In 2008 he won Best Rap at the Toronto Independent Music Awards, and also won the TAG Records’ Survival of The Freshest competition. He has also released a number of mixtapes and singles, and in the Juno Awards of 2013 his album No Handouts was nominated for Rap Recording of the Year.

It features guest appearances from Bishop Lamont, D-Sisive, Dilated Peoples, Dutch Robinson, Matt Brevner, Phil da Agony, Prevail, Slaine, Sophia Danai and DJ Revolution. The album peaked at number three on the Canadian Albums Chart. The album was certified Gold in Canada as of 2019.

Wamp 2 Dem is a commercial mixtape by English rapper Giggs. It was released on 6 October 2017 by No BS Music, while the mixtape was distributed by Island Records. It succeeds Giggs' fourth album Landlord (2016), released a year and two months prior, and is Giggs' first release with a major label. The mixtape includes guest appearances from American rappers 2 Chainz, Young Thug and Lil Duke, alongside Dave, Footsie, D Double E, Popcaan and Donae'o. Production was handled by Cool & Dre, London on da Track, Zaytoven, The Fanatix, Bricks Da Mane and Chris Childs, among others.
