Leaving is the sixth extended play (EP) by American electronic dance music producer Skrillex. [5] [6] It was released on February 5, 2013 exclusively to members of The Nest (Owsla's subscription service). The three tracks were also uploaded to Moore's official YouTube channel the following day. The song "Scary Bolly Dub" had previously been played live and circulated through the Internet for approximately a year before being officially released. A mixed version also features on Caspa Presents Dubstep Sessions 2012. [7] The song samples the 2010 tracks "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites" and "Fucking Die 1". In a personal message to members of The Nest, Moore said that he uses the track "more as a DJ tool, but I wanted you guys to have it". [8] The title track was created in Moore's hotel room in Mexico. "The Reason" was finished an hour before release in Moore's hotel room in Miami. [9] "The Reason" has received significant attention and airplay in Australia, mostly on youth radio station Triple J.

Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites is the second extended play (EP) by American electronic music producer Skrillex. It was released exclusively through Beatport on October 22, 2010 through mau5trap and Big Beat Records, while being released on December 20 for digital download via other online retailers and on March 1, 2011 as a physical release. It was recorded in 2010 at Skrillex's apartment using a laptop. The EP features guest contributions from Penny, Foreign Beggars and Bare Noize as well as remixes done by Noisia, Zedd and Bare Noize. It won two Grammys at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards: one for Best Dance Recording, and another for Best Dance/Electronica Album.

More Monsters and Sprites is the third EP and first remix album by American electronic music producer Skrillex. It was released exclusively on Beatport on June 7, 2011 through Big Beat Records and mau5trap Recordings, while being released on other online retailers on June 21, 2011. It is a follow-up to his previous EP, Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites, containing four additional remixes of the title track done by Dirtyphonics, Phonat, The Juggernauts and Kaskade, as well as three original tracks. The iTunes version also includes a music video of "Rock n' Roll ". Musically, More Monsters and Sprites uses prominent elements of dubstep, while also featuring technical breakdowns and influences of reggae within the first track.

Sonny John Moore, known professionally as Skrillex, is an American DJ, record producer, musician, singer and songwriter. Growing up in Northeast Los Angeles and in Northern California, he joined the American post-hardcore band From First to Last as the lead singer in 2004, and recorded two studio albums with the band before leaving to pursue a solo career in 2007. He began his first tour as a solo artist in late 2007. After recruiting a new band lineup, Moore joined the Alternative Press Tour to support bands such as All Time Low and The Rocket Summer, and appeared on the cover of Alternative Press' annual "100 Bands You Need to Know" issue.
Bangarang is the fourth extended play (EP) by American electronic music producer Skrillex. It was released on December 23, 2011, exclusively via Beatport while being released on other digital retailers on December 27, 2011. It was released on January 24, 2012 as a physical CD. It was announced via Skrillex's Twitter page on December 12, 2011, that the EP was completed, while the release date was also announced on December 21. The EP is mostly a collection of songs that have been previously performed during The Mothership Tour. It features collaborations with The Doors, Sirah, Wolfgang Gartner, 12th Planet, Kill the Noise and Ellie Goulding. Musically, Bangarang has multiple influences of electro house, dubstep and progressive house, while also incorporating elements of trance, drum and bass, rap rock, experimental rock and ska. It features syncopated rhythmic build-ups, technical breakdowns and "chopped-up" vocal hooks, as well as multiple vocal samples. An orchestral song was also featured as a bonus track on the iTunes edition.
Owsla is an American record label and creative collective. It was founded by Skrillex, Tim Smith, Kathryn Frazier, and Clayton Blaha in 2011. Skrillex announced the label on August 17, 2011. The label's first release was Porter Robinson's Spitfire.
Dog Blood is a side project formed in 2012 by music producers Skrillex and Boys Noize. Their debut single, Next Order / Middle Finger, was released on August 12, 2012 on Beatport and iTunes. The song "Next Order" managed to reach #1 on Beatport's Techno chart.
KOAN Sound is an English electronic music production duo from Bristol, England. The duo consists of Will Weeks and Jim Bastow. The name is taken from the word kōan. A track from the Max Out EP is titled "One Hand Clap" – a reference to a well-known kōan with the implied answer of silence, an element used in their music to draw extreme contrast. They initially gained recognition as dubstep producers, with earlier popular tracks including "Akira". Some of their many types of music includes glitch hop, neurohop, and Drum & Bass. The duo have since released music on various labels including Inspected Records and OWSLA, and have worked with a number of other artists, including producer Asa and singer Ed Sheeran.
Defiant Order is the third studio album by French electronic turntable band Birdy Nam Nam. The album was released via Savoir Faire / SME France on 19 September 2011 and was re-released worldwide on 28 May 2013 through OWSLA. A four-part series of remix EPs were released weekly starting on 7 June 2013, including tracks from their 2012 mixtape Geto Bird.

Recess is the debut and currently only studio album by American record producer Skrillex, released on March 14, 2014 by Owsla, Big Beat Records, and Atlantic Records. It was recorded between 2013 and 2014 whilst Skrillex was touring around the world.

It was released on March 14, 2014 as part of Skrillex's debut studio album Recess (2014). It entered the Flanders Ultratip 100 at number 75. An EP entitled Ease My Mind v Ragga Bomb Remixes, consisting of remixes of both songs, was released on November 24, 2014.

Vindata is a producer/DJ duo consisting of Branden Ratcliff and Jared Poythress, based in Los Angeles. In March 2017, they were featured on Rolling Stone's list of 10 New Artists You Need to Know Now. They gained recognition with a single featuring Kenzie May, "All I Really Need." Shortly after, Skrillex signed them to a record deal at OWSLA where they released Through Time and Space featuring Kenzie May again as well as Anderson Paak, Chuck Ellis and Kaleena Zanders and Mack.
