Big Beat Records, Inc. is an American electronic and dance music record label, owned by Warner Music Group and operates through Atlantic Records. It was founded as an independent record label in 1986 by Craig Kallman with an emphasis on house music, and later hip hop. It was absorbed into Atlantic Records in 1998, and eventually relaunched separately in 2010 as a primarily electronic music label. Its current roster includes 100 gecs, Dog Blood, Galantis, Whethan, Cash Cash, and Clean Bandit.
The following is a comprehensive discography of Gary Numan, a British singer and musician. Numan released his first record in 1978 as part of the outfit Tubeway Army. Initially unsuccessful, the band scored a huge hit in 1979 with the single "Are Friends Electric" and their second album Replicas, both of which reached number one in the UK. Numan then decided to release further recordings under his own name, beginning with the single "Cars" later in 1979. Both this and the subsequent album The Pleasure Principle also reached number one in the UK, and Numan became a leading force in the British electronic music scene. He scored a third number one album in 1980 with Telekon, and more hit singles and albums until the mid 1980s when his popularity waned. Despite this, he has continued to record and tour on a regular basis up to the present day. His 2017 studio album, Savage , entered the UK Albums Chart at no. 2, which was Numan's highest chart peak since 1980. His most recent album, 2021's Intruder, also entered the UK charts at no. 2.
Dirtyphonics is a French electronic music band from Paris, consisting of members Charly Barranger and Julien "PitchIn" Corrales. Their music style is based on dubstep, drum and bass, and drumstep.
Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites is the second extended play (EP) by American electronic music producer Skrillex. It was released exclusively through Beatport on October 22, 2010, through mau5trap and Big Beat Records, while being released on December 20 for digital download via other online retailers and on March 1, 2011, as a physical release. It was recorded in 2010 at Skrillex's apartment using a laptop. The EP features guest contributions from pennybirdrabbit, Foreign Beggars and Bare Noize as well as remixes done by Noisia, Zedd and Bare Noize. It won two Grammys at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards: one for Best Dance Recording, and another for Best Dance/Electronica Album.
"Cinema" is a song initially released by Italian DJ and electro house music producer Benny Benassi and British singer-songwriter Gary Go. The song was written and performed by Gary Go with music produced by Benny and Alle Benassi. It was released on 8 March 2011 by Ultra Records and All Around the World, on Benny Benassi's fourth studio album Electroman. The song made its first appearance in the video game Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit in November 2010, months before the song was released as a single. The single EP featured several remixes by Skrillex, Laidback Luke, Alex Gaudino and Congo Rock. The Skrillex remix went on to become a hit in its own right, remaining on Billboard's Dance chart for over two years after its release and winning a 2012 Grammy Award for Best Remixed Recording. Artist and producer Kanye West referred to it as "one of the greatest works of art ever made". The song featured in the trailer for the video game Sonic Lost World and in-games Forza Horizon and Beat Fever, as well as soundtracking promos for the WWE Network. The song has been streamed over a billion times online across streaming platforms. The song was further re-imagined by Gary Go on his soundtrack EP Now Was Once the Future and again by electronic dance music duo Galantis in 2020.
"Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites" is a song by American electronic dance music producer Skrillex. It was released as the lead single from his second EP of the same name. It uses a vocal sample of exclamations from Rachael Nedrow shouting "Yes, oh my gosh!", after speedily stacking a set of cups in one of her YouTube videos. Although permission to use the sample was not initially granted nor was Nedrow aware of its use, she was later compensated an undisclosed sum. On October 3, 2013, the song was certified 2× Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), with sales exceeding 2,000,000 units. It was also certified Gold within Canada, with sales exceeding 40,000 units. On February 12, the song won Best Dance Recording at the 54th Grammy Awards.
"Ruffneck (Full Flex)" was released as the second single from Skrillex's third EP, More Monsters and Sprites. It was an unofficial song of the London 2012 Summer Olympics. It is featured in the corresponding video game.

The song has since become a moderate commercial success, peaking within the charts of the United States, Australia, Canada, Norway and Sweden. A music video directed by Tony Truand, produced by HK Corp, premiered on August 10, 2011, and was nominated at the 54th Grammy Awards for Best Short Form Music Video. The music video was nominated for the MTV Video Music Award for Best Electronic Dance Music Video and it won the award for Best Visual Effects in a Video at 2012 MTV Video Music Awards.
Sonny John Moore, known professionally as Skrillex, is an American DJ and music producer. Growing up in Northeast Los Angeles and Northern California, he joined the post-hardcore band From First to Last as the lead singer in 2004, and recorded two studio albums with the band before leaving to pursue a solo career in 2007. He began his first tour as a solo artist in late 2007. After recruiting a new band lineup, Moore joined the Alternative Press Tour to support bands such as All Time Low and the Rocket Summer, and appeared on the cover of Alternative Press's annual "100 Bands You Need to Know" issue.
Bangarang is the fourth EP by American electronic music producer Skrillex. It was released on December 23, 2011, via Beatport while being released on other digital retailers on December 27, 2011. It was released on January 24, 2012, as a physical CD. It was announced via Skrillex's Twitter page on December 12, 2011, that the album was completed, while the release date was also announced on December 21. The record is mostly a collection of songs that have been previously performed during The Mothership Tour. It features collaborations with the Doors, Sirah, Wolfgang Gartner, 12th Planet, Kill the Noise and Ellie Goulding. Musically, Bangarang has multiple influences of electro, dubstep and techno, while also incorporating elements of eurodance, drum and bass, rap rock, experimental rock and ska. It features syncopated rhythmic build-ups, technical breakdowns and "chopped-up" vocal hooks, as well as multiple vocal samples. An orchestral song was also featured as a bonus track on the iTunes edition.
John Martin Lindström is a Swedish singer and songwriter. He is best known for his collaborations with the Swedish House Mafia. Since 2010, he has collaborated with Tinie Tempah and released his debut single "Anywhere For You", written alongside music partner Michel Zitron. On 3 April 2014 Lindström appeared on the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge covering Haim's "If I Could Change Your Mind".
Leaving is the sixth extended play (EP) by American electronic dance music producer Skrillex. It was released on February 5, 2013 exclusively to members of The Nest. The three tracks were also uploaded to Moore's official YouTube channel the following day. The song "Scary Bolly Dub" had previously been played live and circulated through the Internet for approximately a year before being officially released. A mixed version also features on Caspa Presents Dubstep Sessions 2012. The song samples the 2010 tracks "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites" and "Fucking Die 1". In a personal message to members of The Nest, Moore said that he uses the track "more as a DJ tool, but I wanted you guys to have it". The title track was created in Moore's hotel room in Mexico. "The Reason" was finished an hour before release in Moore's hotel room in Miami. "The Reason" has received significant attention and airplay in Australia, mostly on youth radio station Triple J.
Majid Jordan is a Canadian R&B duo, consisting of singer Majid Al Maskati and producer Jordan Ullman from Toronto, Ontario. They formed in 2011 and signed to OVO Sound, the record label co-founded by rapper Drake, producer Noah "40" Shebib and Oliver El-Khatib, releasing their debut EP, A Place Like This, in 2014.
Rowan Tyler Jones, known by his stage name Route 94, is an English record producer and remixer from Richmond, London. Initially producing dubstep as Dream, Jones worked with the likes of Skream, Benga and Katy B. He then began producing house music. His single "My Love" was a commercial success, reaching number one in three charts.
American girl group Fifth Harmony has released three studio albums, six extended plays, 12 singles,, 11 promotional singles and 17 music videos. After finishing third on the second season of The X Factor US the group was signed to Epic Records though Syco Music. Less than a year later, Fifth Harmony released their debut single from their debut extended play, "Miss Movin' On". The single charted on the Mainstream Top 40 and New Zealand, peaking at 27 in both countries. It was certified Gold in the United States for selling combined sales and track-equivalent streams units of 500,000. The group's extended play, Better Together peaked at number six on the Billboard 200 and number 18 in New Zealand, charting in both countries similar to the group's lead single. As part of the promotion for Better Together, four other versions were released of the extended play, including an acoustic release, a Spanish-language acoustic and a standard Spanish-language translated version as well as a remix edition. The four former EPs were released in a 4-CD bundle titled Better Together: The Deluxe Edition, directly from Fifth Harmony's official store; it also included a download code for the latter remix EP, as it was not available physically. In Walmart exclusively, the Juntos and Juntos Acoustic EPs were bundled together, while at Target, "One Wish" was included as a bonus track on the original version; meanwhile, the iTunes edition of the original EP included "Me & My Girls", which the group performed in 2013 as guests on the third season of The X Factor, and served as a promotional single for the EP.
Steven Zhu, known mononymously as ZHU, is an American electronic music producer and singer who has been active since the beginning of 2014, signed to Mind of a Genius Records. Until mid-2014, ZHU remained anonymous, asking to be judged by his music alone. His debut album, Generationwhy, was released on July 29, 2016 and first premiered at Coachella during his closing set in the Sahara Tent. ZHU's Coachella performance was praised, with a writer for the New York Observer suggesting that he could be "the next Daft Punk".
