The Legacy Bowl was an exhibition college football game played in Osaka, Japan on March 21, 2015, between Princeton University and Kwansei Gakuin University. Princeton was invited to play by Kwansei Gakuin. [1]

Kwansei Gakuin University, colloquially known as Kangaku (関学), is a private, non-denominational Christian coeducational university in Japan. The university offers Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral degrees to around 25,000 students in almost 40 different disciplines across 11 undergraduate and 14 graduate programs. Kwansei Gakuin's main campus is the NishinomiyaUegahara Campus, the university's other campuses consist of the Kobe Sanda, Nishinomiya Seiwa, Nishinomiya Kitaguchi, Osaka Umeda, and Tokyo Marunouchi campuses. Kwansei Gakuin University has been selected for inclusion in the Japanese government's Top Global University Project as a Type B university. The university is often referred to as one of the four leading universities in the greater Kansai region. They were led by sixth-year head coach Bob Surace and played their home games at Powers Field at Princeton Stadium. Princeton was member of the Ivy League. They finished the season 5–5 overall and 2–5 in Ivy League play to place sixth. Princeton averaged 8,265 fans per gam.

The 2023 Hula Bowl was a postseason college football all-star game played on January 14, 2023, with kickoff at 12:00 noon EST, at FBC Mortgage Stadium in Orlando, Florida. It was the first all-star contest of the 2022–23 bowl games and, while not restricted to FBS players, one of the final games of the 2022 FBS football season. Television coverage was provided by CBS Sports Network. This was the second playing of the Hula Bowl outside of Hawaii, due to Aloha Stadium near Honolulu being closed for renovations. The game rostered players into Aina and Kai teams, the words for land and sea in the Hawaiian language. Through sponsorship from the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, the game was officially named the 2023 Tunnel to Towers Foundation Hula Bowl.
