Let's Do It! India (LDII) is an International Environmental Organization founded by Pankaj Choudhary in 2016. [1] It has more than 2.2 Million active volunteers all across the country. [2] Let's Do It! India encourages people all across the world to participate in local, governmental, and international cleanup efforts. [3] The foundation is the Indian chapter of Let's Do It! World. It is a section 8 non profit company registered under India's company's act with required 12A and 80G section. [4] [5]
The organization works in the fields of education, environment, healthcare, human resource development, etc. [6]
Let's Do It India is aiming to raise awareness of the many types of garbage. In 2020 the organization launched a campaign 'Pickup Cigarette Butts!' on World Cleanup Day. It encourages people to gather and send their used cigarette filters to the group for recycling. [7] [8] [9]
In 2020, National Green Tribunal (India) has instructed Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) to develop rules for the disposal of bidi residues and cigarette butts. [10] In the same year Let's Do It India started a campaign of colleting cigarette butts and bidi residues under the guidelines of Central Pollution Control Board. This movement is supported by the International organizations like UN-Habitat, United Nations Environment Programme and Earth Day Network. In 2022, a MoU was signed between Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation and Let's Do It India.
With the help of more than 30,000 volunteers, the HCL Foundation and Let's Do It India organization held World Cleanup Day 2022 at Noida, India. [15]

Clean Air India Movement (CLAIM) is a nationwide launched campaign by Blueair in India on 5 May 2015. The campaign was initiated by the premium air purifier brand Blueair and the key role was played by Vijay Kannan, the India head of Blueair. The ceremonial event took place at the monumental Purana Qila by planting a tree by Kautilya Pandit and Vijay Kannan himself. The Clean Air India Movement is a campaign aimed at engaging, encouraging, and educating Indian citizens to adopt air friendly measures in the interest of the country and its children. "Our campaign aim is to tell people that we are not helpless individuals when it comes to challenging air pollution. Even simple acts by individuals or sole companies such as Blueair can make a difference when it comes to showing responsibility and care, which is why we have taken the initiative to make the call and mobilisation for action," said Kannan.

National CleanUp Day is held annually in the United States and globally on the third Saturday of September. In the United States, there are cleanups held in every State and Territory. It promotes country-scale organized and individual cleanup events and volunteering to keep the outdoors clean and prevent plastic from entering the ocean.
