Levan Strice is a 2.8-hectare (6.9-acre) Local Nature Reserve in Wigmore in Kent. It consists mostly of woodland with public access trails. It is owned and managed by Medway Council. [1] [2] [3] This site has ancient woodland; [1] the main habitat is coppice woodland. [3] There is access to the site from both Thanet Road (off Maidstone Road, Wigmore) and via a rear gate inside the car park at Wigmore Library.
The woodland area is bordered by urban development, although it is home to a spectrum of British fauna (including foxes and various birds) and flora. A large number of bluebells bloom in the spring months and make up a carpet of dense woodland floor, making it a popular bluebell wood walking route for families and locals.
Norsey Wood is a 67.2-hectare (166-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Billericay, Essex. It is also a Local Nature Reserve and a Scheduled Monument.

Ruffett Wood and Big Wood are adjoining woods with a total area of 7 hectares on the border of the London Borough of Sutton, close to the village of Woodmansterne. Big Wood is to the south and Ruffett Wood is to the north. They are owned by Sutton Council and managed by the Woodland Trust. They are designated a Local Nature Reserve and a Site of Borough Importance for Nature Conservation, Grade 1. The woods are the largest continuous area of woodland in the borough of Sutton.
