Liam Connor Norwell (born 27 December 1991) is a former English cricketer who last played for Warwickshire. A right-handed batsman and right-hand medium pace bowler he made his first-class debut for Gloucestershire against Derbyshire in April 2011. Norwell signed a new two-year contract for Gloucestershire in 2013.
Born in Bournemouth,Dorset,Norwell made his first-class debut for Gloucestershire in April 2011 against Derbyshire as a 19-year-old. In the first innings Norwell made 19 runs before being run out by Tim Groenewald helping Gloucestershire to 343. In the Derbyshire first innings,Norwell produced an impressive display bowling 11 overs taking 6 wickets for just 46 runs as he helped bowl Derbyshire out for just 157. This remains to this day his best first-class bowling performance. In the second innings Norwell managed 1 wicket,that of Wayne Madsen to take match figures of 7–112 as Gloucestershire won by 7 wickets. [1] [2] Norwell followed up this performance with an appearance in the following first-class game against Glamorgan. Norwell took 2 wickets for 49 runs in the first innings helping bowl out Glamorgan for 202. He scored 11 not out in the reply and was wicketless in the second as Gloucestershire lost by 189 runs. [3] Norwell then appeared for Gloucestershire in a drawn match against Middlesex. He opened the bowling in the Middlesex innings along with captain Jon Lewis and took 3 wickets for 102 runs,dismissing Middlesex for 406. [4]
Norwell was hit by injuries in 2013,but coach John Bracewell saw enough for Norwell to be offered a new contract,which he signed through to the end of the 2015 season. [5]
Having moved to Warwickshire in 2018,Norwell took 9/62 in the second innings against Hampshire at Edgbaston on the final day of the 2022 County Championship season to help his club win by five runs and avoid relegation from Division One. [6] [7] A series of injuries meant he did not play another first-team match for Warwickshire and he left the club in August 2024. [8] [9]
On 12 November 2024,he was retired from professional cricket at the age of 32,due to failing to recover from a series of long-standing injuries. [10]

Liam Andrew Dawson is an English cricketer who plays for Hampshire and for the England cricket team. He is a right-handed batsman who bowls slow left-arm orthodox spin. He made his international debut for England in July 2016,and has since played all three formats of the game for England,the last in 2022. Dawson was part of the England squad that won the 2019 Cricket World Cup,however,he did not play in any matches during the tournament.

As in 2018,Division One had eight teams and Division Two had ten teams. The first round of matches began on 5 April and the final round of matches ended on 26 September. Surrey were the defending champions. At the end of the 2019 season only one team was relegated with three promoted. Therefore,from 2020 onwards,Division One would feature ten teams and Division Two would feature eight.

The 2019 Vitality Blast was the seventeenth edition of the T20 Blast currently known as the Vitality Blast,a professional Twenty20 cricket league that was played in England and Wales which was run by the ECB,has been branded as the Vitality Blast due to a new sponsorship deal. The league consisted of the 18 first-class county teams divided into two divisions of nine teams each with fixtures played,slightly later than usual,between July and September. Finals Day took place at Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham on 21 September 2019. Worcestershire Rapids were the defending champions.
The 2020 Bob Willis Trophy was a first-class cricket tournament held in the 2020 English cricket season,and the inaugural edition of the Bob Willis Trophy. It was separate from the County Championship,which was not held in 2020 due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United Kingdom. The eighteen county cricket teams were split into three regional groups of six,with the two group winners with the most points advancing to a final held at Lord's. The maximum number of overs bowled in a day was reduced from 96 to 90,and the team's first innings could be no longer than 120 overs.

The 2024 season was Glamorgan County Cricket Club's 137th year in existence and their 103rd as a first-class cricket county. They competed in the Second Division of the County Championship,as well as Group B of the One-Day Cup and the South Group of the T20 Blast. They played two 50-over matches at The Gnoll in Neath for the third year in a row,while also not returning to Penrhyn Avenue in Rhos-on-Sea for the fifth year in a row.
