Lifelines is the second studio album by Andrea Corr. It was released on 29 May 2011 as a digital download and 30 May 2011 on CD. [2] The album consists of covers of songs by The Velvet Underground, Kirsty MacColl, Harry Nilsson, Ron Sexsmith, Nick Drake, The Blue Nile and others. [3] The lead single, "Tinseltown in the Rain", was released to the iTunes Store on 17 April 2011. As well as standard CD and digital download releases, the album was released as a special limited edition with a bonus DVD containing exclusive performances and interviews. [2] To promote the album, Corr has performed songs from it at shows in London, Birmingham, Glasgow, Salford and at the Isle of Wight Festival 2011. [3] She has also promoted it in media interviews and in performances around Europe.

John Reynolds is a record producer and musician. He was the first husband of singer Sinéad O'Connor; they had one child, Jake Reynolds, formerly a drummer for the solo musician, Jah Wobble. Reynolds met O'Connor and recorded her first album, The Lion and the Cobra, in 1987, and has since collaborated on her albums I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got (1990); Universal Mother (1994), for which he was nominated as Q Producer of the Year; the Gospel Oak EP (1997); How About I Be Me? (2012); and I'm Not Bossy, I'm the Boss (2014). He was also the drummer for O'Connor's band on her 2013 tour.
