Lili (born 2000) is a Chinese freestyle wrestler of Mongol ethnicity. She won a bronze medal in the 65kg event at the 2023 World Wrestling Championships held in Belgrade, Serbia. [1]

Lili was born in 2000 and is from Tongliao, Inner Mongolia in China. [2] [3]

In 2017, Lili joined the Inner Mongolia provincial wrestling team. [2]

In 2020, Lili was admitted as an undergraduate to Inner Mongolia University for Nationalities where she majored in Physical education. [2]

In 2023, Lili won a bronze medal in the 65kg event at the 2023 World Wrestling Championships by defeating Kadriye Aksoy. [2] [3]

The Jindandao incident was a rebellion by a Han Chinese secret society called Jindandao, who rose in revolt in Inner Mongolia in November 1891 and genocidally massacred 150,000–500,000 Mongols before being suppressed by government troops in late December. The revolt devastated Mongol communities in the southeastern borderland and forced many Mongols to take refuge in northern banners. This massacre was later dubbed an incident by Chinese officials.
