Lionel Chee (born 4 August 1931) is a Singaporean water polo player. He competed in the men's tournament at the 1956 Summer Olympics. [1]
He was given the honour of carrying the national flag of Singapore at the opening ceremony of the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne, becoming the eighth water polo player to be a flag bearer at the opening and closing ceremonies of the Olympics. [2]
Perica Bukić is a Croatian former professional water polo player and politician. He represented Yugoslavia at the 1984 and 1988 Summer Olympics.
Anton "Ton" Gerrit Jan Buunk is a retired Dutch water polo player. He competed in the 1972, 1976, 1980 and 1984 Olympics and won a bronze medal in 1976, placing sixth-seventh on other occasions. He was given the honour to carry the national flag of the Netherlands at the opening ceremony of the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, becoming the 15th water polo player to be a flag bearer at the opening and closing ceremonies of the Olympics. On 14 December 1979 he married Vera Renema.

Mirko Sandić was a Serbian water polo player who led Yugoslav teams to a gold medal at the 1968 Summer Olympics and a silver medal at the 1964 Summer Olympics. He also competed in the 1960 and 1972 Olympics where his teams placed fourth and fifth, respectively. He was given the honour to carry the national flag of Yugoslavia at the opening ceremony of the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, becoming the twelfth water polo player to be a flag bearer at the opening and closing ceremonies of the Olympics. Between 1958 and 1974 Sandić played more than 235 matches for the Yugoslav national team contributing 250 goals.
Predrag Jokić is a Montenegrin 1.88 m tall water polo player. He is a member of the Montenegro men's national water polo team at the 2008 Summer Olympics, 2012 Summer Olympics, and the 2016 Summer Olympics.In 2003 he won the gold medal with Serbia and Montenegro at the European Championship in Kranj,Slovenia.
Zdravko "Ćiro" Kovačić was a Croatian water polo player who competed for Yugoslavia in the 1948 Summer Olympics, in the 1952 Summer Olympics, and in the 1956 Summer Olympics.
István Szívós Sr. was a Hungarian water polo player. He was part of the Hungarian teams that won gold medals at the 1952 and 1956 Olympics and placed second in 1948. At the 1956 Olympics he also took part in the 200 m breaststroke swimming competition, but failed to reach the final. In 1997 he was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame, one year later than his son István Jr., who competed in water polo at the 1968–1980 Olympics. He was given the honour to carry the national flag of Hungary at the opening ceremony of the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, becoming the 14th water polo player to be a flag bearer at the opening and closing ceremonies of the Olympics.
Terry Alan Schroeder, DC is an American former water polo player who competed in the 1984 Summer Olympics, in the 1988 Summer Olympics, and in the 1992 Summer Olympics. Schroeder is a chiropractor, practicing in Agoura Hills, California. He is a 1986 graduate of Palmer Chiropractic College – West where he met his wife, Lori Schroeder. They have two daughters. He is currently the head water polo coach at Pepperdine University, and has been since 2013. He also coached at Pepperdine from 1986–2005, but left to become the head coach for the United States Olympic team before returning to Pepperdine.
Arthur William James Hunt was a water polo player from Lambeth, United Kingdom. He was a competitor at the 1924 Summer Olympics who competed at the Men's Water Polo event representing Great Britain. His team lost to Hungary in round one at 6-7 and did not advance any further.
Jean Raymond Henri Thorailler was a French male water polo player. He was a member of the France men's national water polo team. He competed with the team at the 1912 Summer Olympics and 1920 Summer Olympics. Thorailler was given the honour to carry the national flag of France during the opening ceremony of the 1928 Summer Olympics in Amsterdam, becoming the fourth water polo player to be a flag bearer at the opening and closing ceremonies of the Olympics.
