List of 2006 UCI Women's Teams and riders

Listed below are the UCI Women's Teams that competed in 2006 women's road cycling events organized by the International Cycling Union (UCI) including the 2006 UCI Women's Road World Cup. [1]

The Union Cycliste Internationale is the world governing body for sports cycling and oversees international competitive cycling events. The UCI is based in Aigle, Switzerland.

The 2006 UCI Women's Road World Cup is the ninth edition of the UCI Women's Road World Cup. Nine of the eleven races from the 2005 World Cup were retained and three new races were added to give a total of twelve races - the most rounds the World Cup had seen. The races that were left off the calendar were the GP of Wales and the Primavera Rosa. The Danish race the L'Heure D'Or Féminine, Sweden's Open de Suède Vargarda and the Swiss Tour de Berne were the new rounds.

      Annette Beutler is a Swiss professional racing cyclist. She is part of the 2007 Team Flexpoint. She was the Swiss National Road Race champion in 2006.

      Loes Gunnewijk Dutch racing cyclist

      Loes Gunnewijk is a former professional Dutch racing cyclist. She was part of the 2007 Team Flexpoint.

      Luise Keller is a road cyclist from Germany. She represented her nation at the 2005, 2007, 2008 and 2010 UCI Road World Championships.

      Claire Baxter professional racing cyclist

      Claire Baxter was a professional racing cyclist, competing in both road and mountain bike racing events. She retired in late 2006 after competing in the 2006 Commonwealth Games.

      Liesbet De Vocht Belgian cyclist

      Liesbet De Vocht is a Belgian former road bicycle racer. She competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the Women's road race, finishing 9th and in the Women's time trial finishing 23rd. She retired at the end of the 2014 season.

      Sofie De Vuyst cyclist

      Sofie De Vuyst is a Belgian racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's Team Parkhotel Valkenburg. Between 2010 and 2016 she competed in every UCI Road World Championships.

            The 2010 season was the ninth for the Team HTC-Columbia Women cycling team, which began as the T-Mobile team in 2003.

            The 2009 season was the eighth for the Team Columbia-High Road Women cycling team, which began as the T-Mobile team in 2003. The main new riders for the team were the European Time Trial Champion Ellen van Dijk and the Canadian national champion Alex Wrubleski.
