She rushes back to the group, who are watching the waterfall and the sunset from an outcropping. While they prepare a tent for the night, Gale daydreams of being Queen and accidentally sets the tent on fire. Stella becomes furious at Gale for ruining the tent and the latter leaves in a huff. The pigs build a chair for Gale and carry her off to Golden Island, leaving the flock devastated and saddened.

However, Gale also finds that the Golden Egg is located under the flock's tree, and she goes to saw it down. The flock decides to battle Gale's minions to fight for their home. Just as Gale closes in on the tree, Poppy uses her gong to produce a shockwave that destroys Gale's machine (whilst damaging the gong itself). Stella and her friends enjoy playing in a band together, but Poppy's gong, which had been greatly damaged in the previous episode, won't make a sound. After Stella's attempt to fix the gong makes it shatter completely, Dahlia invents a new drum set, complete with an even better gong, for Poppy. Poppy loves it, but when the flock performs another song, she gets carried away and ends up destroying the entire flock's instruments. To make it up to them, Poppy helps the gang make their own creative instruments out of ordinary materials and the group is able to perform once again. The gang gets annoyed, however, when Poppy begins a (long-lasting) drum solo.

He joins some of Gale's minions, who are playing in the mud, and they allow him to join them to the castle. At the castle, Gale allows Luca to have anything he wants, until he begins to mimic her actions. When Luca realizes that pigs also take baths, he leaves the castle and gets lost in the woods. A couple of critters in the woods take him home to the other birds, who had just found out that Luca had gone missing. When Stella scolds the young bird for getting muddy again, Luca gives himself a bath, much to everyone's amazement. Unbeknownst to the flock, however, Luca has not genuinely learned his lesson.

Meanwhile, Gale fails to find the egg, so she settles for a green emerald. A skunk, however, sprays Gale with a foul odor and chases her. The flock uses a rope to pull Gale out of the hole (though they immediately leave afterwards due to Gale's bad smell). Gale happily goes home with her emerald without Handsome Pig (after she thought her crown was missing after being pulled up and sent him into the hole to get it back but realized that she had it on her tail feathers).
