This is a list of British rugby league stadiums . ranked in descending order of capacity. There is a large number of rugby league stadiums and pitches in England, and a definitive list of stadiums would be impossible to produce. This list, therefore, is limited to stadiums that meet one of the following criteria based on current capacity:

11,775 Castleford colours.svg Castleford Tigers In April 2022, Castleford announced alternative plans to their new stadium project. The club would use £2m grant from Wakefield Councils Rugby League Resilience Fund and funds from the new employment site proposed at the site of the new stadium.

The club would then build a new main stand and modernise and redevelop the 3 other existing stands.

7,800 Cougscolours.svg Keighley Cougars Keighley announced plans for a new 2,000 capacity main stand in April 2023 that’s would be partly funded by the £33m Keighley Towns Fund. It will replace the original stand that dates back to the 1930s and include classrooms, a cafe, health suite and better facilities for the media and TV crews.

The Halton Stadium is a multi-purpose rugby league, football and American football stadium in Widnes, Cheshire, England. It is the home of Rugby League side Widnes Vikings of the Betfred Championship, football team Widnes Football Club of the Northern Premier League who play their home games at the stadium, and also the American football side Halton Spartans of the BAFA National Leagues, the Halton Spartans having competed in the BAFANL national American football league since 2015. The stadium is all seater and has a total capacity of 13,350.

Leeds has a strong sporting heritage, with the Yorkshire County Cricket Club and Leeds Rhinos playing at Headingley Stadium, Leeds Tykes playing at The Sycamores, Bramhope and Leeds United F.C. playing at Elland Road. The Headquarters of the Rugby Football League is also based in Leeds. Leeds City Council also offer a wide variety of sport, leisure and fitness sessions both in their leisure centres and the community.

Central Park was a rugby league stadium in Wigan, England, which was the home of Wigan RLFC before the club moved to the JJB Stadium in 1999. Its final capacity was 18,000. The site is now a Tesco supermarket and car park.

The Athletic Grounds was a stadium in Rochdale, Greater Manchester, England. It was the home of Rochdale Hornets Rugby League Football Club for over 90 years until 1988. It has also been used for speedway, BriSCA F1 Stock Cars and greyhound racing.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Edge Hall Road</span>

The Edge Hall Road Community Stadium is a multi-sport stadium, located in Orrell, Greater Manchester. From 2024, it will be the home of football club, Wigan Athletic Women and rugby league side, Wigan Warriors Women. Originally built as the permanent ground of the local Orrell rugby union team in 1950, the club departed the stadium in 2007, with the development team of Wigan Warriors beginning to use the ground that same year.

Leigh Sports Village is a multi-use sports, retail and housing development in Leigh, Greater Manchester, England. The centrepiece of the development is a 12,000-capacity stadium which is home to professional rugby league team Leigh Leopards, Manchester United's Under-21 and Academy teams and Manchester United Women. The complex also plays host to amateur rugby league club Leigh East and amateur athletics club Leigh Harriers, who both occupy dedicated facilities on the site. Other facilities on site include the Leigh campus of Wigan and Leigh College, Leigh Sports Centre, which includes a gym, multi-use sports hall and swimming pool, a Holiday Inn Express hotel, a Morrisons supermarket and the Whistling Wren pub. During 2022, it hosted matches in the UEFA Women's Euro 2022.

Manchester City and Manchester United are popular Premier League football clubs in Greater Manchester. United's ground is in Old Trafford; Manchester City's home ground is the City of Manchester Stadium in east Manchester. Fixtures between the clubs are referred to as the Manchester Derby. Manchester United are historically the second most successful football club in England with 67 elite honours won and was the first team in England to achieve the Continental treble. Manchester United's revenue was the fifth highest of a football club in the world in the 2022–23 season at €745.8 million. In 2023, Forbes estimated the club was the second most valuable in the world at $6 billion.

Coventry United Football Club is an English association football club based in Coventry in the West Midlands, England, United Kingdom. The team competes in the United Counties League Premier Division South, the 9th tier of English football, and is managed by Ellis Alleyne.

The World Club Challenge is an annual rugby league competition between the winners of the Australian National Rugby League and the British Super League, for the de facto club world championship of the sport.
