CBeebies brand used by the BBC; childrens TV channel

CBeebies is a British free-to-air television channel owned and operated by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC). It is aimed at young children, and was launched on 11 February 2002. It manages an international network supported by subscription services.

64 Zoo Lane is a British-French children's cartoon created by English author An Vrombaut. The series was produced by Millimages S.A., Zoo Lane Productions, and La Cinquième. The series premiered in 1999.

Big Barn Farm is a British live action and animated children's comedy television series following the lives of four young animals on a farm which uses a combination of live-action and animation. It was produced by The Foundation and commissioned by Michael Carrington for the BBC children's channel CBeebies. It was narrated by Ben Fairman in the first series and Dave Lamb in the second series.

Grandpa in My Pocket is a fantasy comedy series commissioned by Michael Carrington for CBeebies, the BBC's dedicated pre-school and nursery channel targeting children aged 2–7 years. The programme stars James Bolam as a magical grandpa, who owns a magical secret "shrinking cap", which only his 8-year-old grandson Jason Mason knows about. This cap enables him to shrink to about 4 inches tall, become a CGI-animated character, run very fast, and bring toys and objects to life. This allows him to experience many amazing adventures which are told via voice-over narration by Jason, including finding a hamster under the floorboards, bringing a home-made robot to life, and driving Jason's toy car and biplane. The programme also stars Josie Cable, Zara Ramm and Sam Ellis, as Jason’s sister, mother and father, respectively. Accordingto the BBC press office, "Grandpa In My Pocket explores the hugely important relationship between grandchildren and grandparents by turning it on its head".

<i>The Adventures of Abney & Teal</i> television series

The Adventures of Abney & Teal is a British-Canadian, mildly surreal children's television programme which uses a mixture of 2D and CGI animation based on the works of writer and illustrator Joel Stewart. The show, which follows the adventures of two friends, is set on a series of small islands on a lake in a park in an unnamed city. The show was first broadcast on Cbeebies in the United Kingdom in September 2011, and is produced by Ragdoll Productions.

Alphablocks is a British CGI-animated children's educational television programme that is designed to teach children how to spell with the use of animated blocks representing each letter. It is animated by Blue-Zoo and produced by Alphablocks Ltd. Once the Alphablocks discover that whenever they make a word it comes to life, many new adventures in Alphaland can be created. This is meant to help preschool children with learning the alphabet, spelling, reading and writing.

Apple Tree House is a television drama series produced by CBeebies for children under age 11. It is set on the fictitious Apple Tree House estate in London, and filmed in Bromley-by-Bow.

<i>3rd & Bird</i> television series

3rd & Bird is a British television programme aimed at young children, commissioned by Michael Carrington and broadcast on the BBC, which revolves around a community of birds and their adventures. The series premiered on CBeebies in June 2008. Described in its initial press release as "a charming new animated series all about community", the programme format generally involves one or more of the characters encountering a problem which must be solved using the social skills which pre-school children must develop in order to make their way in the world.

<i>Andy Pandy</i> UK childrens television series

Andy Pandy is a British children's television series that premiered on BBC TV in summer 1950. Originally live, a series of 13 filmed programmes was shown in 1970, when a new series was made. A reboot of the show was made in 2001. The show was the basis for a comic strip of the same name in the children's magazines Robin and Pippin.

Angelmouse is a British children's television programme which was produced and broadcast by the BBC. It was aired on CBeebies. It has also been broadcast on ABC Kids. It started from 27 September 1999 and ended on 20 March 2000.
