The Gaon Digital Chart of Gaon Music Chart is a chart that ranks the best-performing songs in South Korea. The data is collected by the Korea Music Content Association. It consists of a weekly chart, listed from Sunday to Saturday, and a monthly chart.

Lee Ji-eun, also known by her stage name IU (아이유), is a South Korean singer-songwriter, composer, and actress. She signed with LOEN Entertainment in 2007 as a trainee and debuted as a singer at the age of fifteen with her first extended play (EP) Lost and Found (2008). Although her follow-up albums, Growing Up and IU...IM, brought mainstream success, it was only after the release of "Good Day", the lead single from her 2010 album Real, that she achieved national stardom. "Good Day" went on to spend five consecutive weeks at the top of South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart, and in 2019, it was ranked number one on Billboard's "100 Greatest K-Pop Songs of the 2010s" list.

Jung Eun-ji, better known mononymously as Eunji, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, actress, radio DJ, musical actress, and voice actress. She is best known as a member of the South Korean girl group Apink. Jung made her acting debut in the coming-of-age drama, Reply 1997 in 2012. She has since had roles in That Winter, the Wind Blows (2013), Trot Lovers (2014), Cheer Up! (2015), Untouchable (2017), Work Later, Drink Now (2021–2022) and Blind (2022) in addition to various voice acting roles. She released her debut solo album, Dream, in 2016.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Good Day (IU song)</span> 2010 single by IU

"Good Day" is a song recorded in two languages by South Korean singer IU. The Korean version was released on December 9, 2010, as the lead single for IU's third extended play (EP) Real. It was written by Kim Eana, while production was handled by Lee Min-soo. The Japanese version was originally included on IU's first Japanese extended play I□U, released on December 14, 2011, before being released on March 21, 2012, as IU's first single album Good Day.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Kim Hyun-joong discography</span>

During 2005–2010, Kim has had two solo songs from SS501 albums: "Rize Up" from Kokoro, and "Please Be Nice To Me" from SS501 Solo Collection. In 2008, he released "Thank You" digital single, a theme song from We Got Married and was also included in SS501 mini album Find. In 2009, he contributed two soundtracks from Boys Over Flowers including the acoustic version of "Because I'm Stupid"" and "A Thing Called Happiness". Park Soo-young, known by the stage name Joy, is a South Korean singer, actress, and host. She debuted as a member of South Korean girl group Red Velvet in August 2014. In 2017, Joy debuted as an actress and has had starring roles in the television dramas The Liar and His Lover (2017), Tempted (2018), The One and Only (2021), and Once Upon a Small Town (2022).

"Cherry Blossom Ending" is a song by South Korean indie band Busker Busker, from their debut studio album Busker Busker 1st Album. The song was written by band member Jang Beom-jun and was released on March 29, 2012, by CJ E&M Music. The song is well known for re-entering the music charts every spring in South Korea, earning the nicknames "Spring Carol" and "Cherry Blossom Zombie". As of 2021, "Cherry Blossom Ending" has received over 8,000,000 digital downloads according to Gaon, making it the best-selling single in the country.

<i>Busker Busker 1st Album</i> 2012 studio album by Busker Busker

Busker Busker 1st Album is the debut studio album by South Korean indie band Busker Busker. It was released by CJ E&M Music on March 29, 2012. All eleven tracks on the album are written by band member Jang Beom-jun. The album was a commercial success, topping the Gaon Album Chart and selling 100,000 physical copies in two months. The lead single, "Cherry Blossom Ending", was also a chart-topper, and re-enters the charts every spring. Due to the song's continued popularity, the album has also charted every year since release.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">You & I (IU song)</span> 2011 single by IU

"You & I" is a song recorded in Korean and Japanese by South Korean singer IU from her second Korean-language studio album Last Fantasy (2011). The Korean version was released on November 29, 2011 through LOEN Entertainment, and was written and produced by Kim Eana and Lee Min-soo, respectively. The song was a huge domestic success, achieving the top spot on the Gaon Digital Chart and went on to sell more 7,000,000 digital units by 2021. According to Gaon, "You & I" is the second best-selling single in South Korea since 2010, ranking only behind Busker Busker's "Cherry Blossom Ending" (2012).
