In March 2012, Shout! Factory obtained the rights to distribute the first 17 seasons of the Power Rangers series on DVD, beginning with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. [27] [28] In July 2012, they first released the complete set at Comic-Con International in a 19 disc set of all three seasons of Mighty Mighty Morphin Power Rangers that included the 10 episode mini-series, Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers . In August of that same year, they released the first season of the series to Time Life bundled with a Red Ranger action figure, as well as the 19 disc complete set (minus the Comic-Con exclusive paper wrapper) bundled together with the 21 disc Power Rangers Seasons 4-7 set and Red Ranger action figure. In November 2012 they released the 19 disc complete set for a third time to wider retail along with eventual individual releases of both Season 1 and Season 2 (each season being split into two volumes). [29] In July 2013, they released the entire third season on DVD without the Alien Rangers mini-series (which got its own separate release in September 2013). [30] After working out a deal with Lionsgate for access to season 18 through 20, a limited edition 98 disc set entitled Power Rangers: Legacy, which consist of the complete first 20 seasons of the Power Rangers franchise including the three seasons from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, was scheduled for a December 3, 2013 release, but due to manufacturing errors on the packaging the set was postponed [31] and was instead released on January 2, 2014. In March 2015 they released a complete first season set exclusively to Wal-Mart that features an alternate cover from the Time Life complete first season set. The complete second season set was also released exclusively to Wal-Mart on the same day. In October 2016 they released a new version of the complete set featuring alternate cover art from the 2012 releases. In March 2017 they released a season one and two bundled set exclusively to Best Buy. In August 2018 a new version of the complete set released featuring a "25th Anniversary" Steelbook and included Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie on Blu-ray (the rest of the set is still DVD). In April 2019 a new version of the complete first season set is scheduled to release featuring a limited Steelbook. In June 2019 a new version of the complete second season set is scheduled to release featuring a limited Steelbook. In August 2019 a new version of the complete third season set is scheduled to release featuring a limited Steelbook and including the 10 episode mini-series, Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers.

Power Rangers is an entertainment and merchandising franchise built around a live-action superhero television series, based on the Japanese tokusatsu franchise Super Sentai. Produced first by Saban Entertainment, second by BVS Entertainment, later by Saban Brands, and today by SCG Power Rangers LLC and its parent company, Hasbro, the Power Rangers television series takes much of its footage from the Super Sentai television series, produced by Toei Company. The first Power Rangers entry, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, debuted on August 28, 1993, and helped launch the Fox Kids programming block of the 1990s, during which it catapulted into popular culture along with a line of action figures and other toys by Bandai. By 2001, the media franchise had generated over $6 billion in toy sales.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (MMPR) is an American superhero television series that premiered on August 28, 1993, on the Fox Kids programming block. It is the first entry of the Power Rangers franchise, and became a 1990s pop culture phenomenon along with a large line of toys, action figures, and other merchandise. The show adapted stock footage from the Japanese TV series Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger (1992–1993), which was the 16th installment of Toei's Super Sentai franchise. The second and third seasons of the show drew elements and stock footage from Gosei Sentai Dairanger and Ninja Sentai Kakuranger, respectively, though the Zyuranger costumes were still used for the lead cast in these two seasons. Only the mecha and the Kiba Ranger costume from Dairanger were featured in the second season while only the Kakuranger mecha was featured in the third season, though the Kakuranger costumes were later used for the mini-series Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers. The series was produced by MMPR Productions and distributed by Saban Entertainment, while the show's merchandise was produced and distributed by Bandai Entertainment.
Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers is a Power Rangers mini-series set immediately after the end of the third season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. As with the third season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, this mini-series adapted footage and costumes from the eighteenth Super Sentai series, Ninja Sentai Kakuranger.
Power Rangers Zeo is a television series and the fourth season of the Power Rangers franchise, based on the 19th Super Sentai series Chouriki Sentai Ohranger. It is the continuation of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, which aired in 1996.
Power Rangers Turbo is a television series and the fifth season of the Power Rangers franchise. The show was prefaced with the franchise's second film, Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie.
Power Rangers Lost Galaxy is a tokusatsu television series and the seventh season of the Power Rangers franchise, based on the 22nd Super Sentai series Seijuu Sentai Gingaman. The series was the first to follow the Sentai tradition of a new cast with each new series.
Power Rangers Dino Thunder is the twelfth season of the television series, Power Rangers. This incarnation of Power Rangers was based on Bakuryū Sentai Abaranger, the 27th entry of Toei Company's long-running Super Sentai franchise. Dino Thunder was also the subtitle of the Korean dub of Abaranger in South Korea and had a similar/identical logo to the American version as well. The series is notable as it features the return of Jason David Frank as Tommy Oliver as a main character and a dinosaur theme for the powers, abilities and assets from most of the series' protagonists and antagonists. It was the first series to be aired on ABC Family part of ABC.
David Harold Yost is an American actor and producer. He is best known for portraying Billy Cranston in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie, Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers, Power Rangers Zeo, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always and Power Rangers Cosmic Fury.
VR Troopers is a syndicated live-action superhero-adventure television series produced and distributed by Saban Entertainment from 1994 to 1996. The show tried to profit from the fascination with virtual reality in the mid-1990s as well as the success of Saban's other property, Power Rangers. VR Troopers was the first official "sister series" to Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. Much like it, this was an Americanization of a Japanese tokusatsu children's program series by Toei Company. The series is a co-production of Toei and Cyberprod.
The Super Sentai Series is a Japanese superhero team metaseries and media franchise consisting of television series and films produced by Toei Company, and Bandai, and aired by TV Asahi. In North America, the Super Sentai series is best known as the source material for the Power Rangers series.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie is a 1995 American superhero film. It stars the ensemble cast of Karan Ashley, Johnny Yong Bosch, Steve Cardenas, Jason David Frank, Amy Jo Johnson, and David Yost alongside the villains cast from the original series and Paul Freeman as Ivan Ooze. Much like the television season that followed the release, it used concepts from the Japanese Super Sentai series Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger, Gosei Sentai Dairanger and Ninja Sentai Kakuranger. It is the first Power Rangers production from Saban Entertainment not to feature any archived footage from Super Sentai. It is the first installment in the Power Rangers film series. The film was released in between the second and third seasons of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, but is incompatible with season three, which provides a different explanation for the Rangers gaining their Ninja Ranger powers and Ninjazords, indicating they are set in different continuities.
Masked Rider is an American live-action superhero television series produced by Saban Entertainment and Toei Company, Ltd. It is an American adaptation of the 1988 Japanese television series Kamen Rider Black RX, It aired on Fox as part of the Fox Kids program block from September 16, 1995, to August 31, 1996, and then in syndication from September 9, 1996, to August 1997.

Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger is a Japanese tokusatsu television series and the sixteenth installment in the long-running Super Sentai metaseries of superhero programs. Produced by Toei and Bandai, it aired on TV Asahi from February 21, 1992 to February 12, 1993, with a total of 50 episodes replacing Chōjin Sentai Jetman and was replaced by Gosei Sentai Dairanger. It was the first Sentai series to have a regular Sixth Ranger, and the first to introduce the concept of sentient, living mecha, a theme that has been used frequently in the franchise ever since. It was also the first Sentai series to be adapted into an installment of the American Power Rangers series. Footage from all 50 episodes was extensively used for the first season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. The core Zyuranger costumes were used in all three seasons of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and were used as the original Power Rangers costumes while the Dragon Ranger costume was adapted into the Green Ranger's costume and was used throughout Season 1 and in early Season 2. The title Toei gives this series for international distribution is Galaxy Rangers.
Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation is an American television series produced by Saban Entertainment. It is the first and only live-action television series in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise. It ran on the Fox Kids network from 1997 to 1998.

Power Rangers Samurai is the eighteenth season of the children's television series Power Rangers, which is based on the Japanese Super Sentai Series. The season was the first to be produced by SCG Power Rangers, after Saban Brands acquired the franchise. The season marks the franchise's debut on Nickelodeon, premiering on the main network and Nicktoons on February 7, 2011.
The re-version of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers is a television series created by Haim Saban and Shuki Levy, began airing on January 2, 2010, on ABC, and concluded on August 28, 2010. The re-version season was a re-broadcasting of approximately half of the first season of MMPR, which was originally broadcast in 1993, but BVS Entertainment added several visual effects to the old footage, in addition to an updated opening sequence. Although nothing beyond this about the television show was new, upon repurchase of the franchise by Haim Saban, it was nonetheless officially regarded as the 18th season of Power Rangers by his new company Saban Brands, until the promotion for Power Rangers Megaforce included season numbering that ignored the re-version.
