Molde Fotballklubb is a Norwegian association football club based in Molde, Norway. The club was formed in 1911 as International. The club was renamed Molde FK in 1915. Molde had several grounds as their home ground until they in 1955 began to permanently use Molde Stadion as their home ground. In 1998, they moved to their current home ground, Aker Stadion.

Since Molde's first competitive match, a number of players have made a competitive first-team appearance for the club. Many of these players have spent only a short period of their career at Molde FK before seeking opportunities in other teams; some players had their careers cut short by injury, while others left for other reasons.

The 2015 Tippeligaen was the 71st completed season of top-tier football in Norway. The competition began on 6 April 2015, one week later than in the previous season. A short summer-break in June was scheduled between the rounds played on 12 July and 26 July, and the decisive match was played on 8 November 2015. Molde were the defending champions. Sandefjord, Tromsø and Mjøndalen joined as the promoted clubs from the 2014 1. divisjon. They replaced Brann, Sogndal and Sandnes Ulf who were relegated to the 2015 1. divisjon.

The 2017 season was Molde's tenth consecutive year in the top flight which from the beginning of this season is known as Eliteserien, and their 41st season in the top flight of Norwegian football. Along with the Eliteserien, the club also competed in the Norwegian Cup.

The 2018 Eliteserien was the 74th completed season of top-tier football in Norway. This was second season of Eliteserien as rebranding from Tippeligaen.

The 2019 season was Molde's 12th consecutive year in Eliteserien, and their 43rd season in the top flight of Norwegian football. They participated in Eliteserien, winning the title for the 4th time, reached the third round of the Cup and were knocked out of the 2019–20 UEFA Europa League in the playoff round by FK Partizan after entering at the First qualifying round stage. Molde were scheduled to take part in the 2019 Mesterfinalen against Rosenborg, but the match was cancelled 15 March 2019 due to heavy rain.

Molde Fotballklubb is a football club from Molde, Norway. It was established in 1911 as International by a group of people gathered by Klaus Daae Andersen. After permission was granted, it took the current name and joined the league system in 1928. Until 1937, Molde played in regional leagues, after numerous promotions and relegations. Since 1930, the team has played in the Norwegian Football Cup. In 1939, the club joined the third season of the League of Norway, the top division, but the break-out of the World War II caused a halt to all organized sports and thus this season was never completed.

The 2020 season was Molde's 13th consecutive year in Eliteserien, and their 44th season in the top flight of Norwegian football. They finished second in the Eliteserien, whilst the Norwegian Cup and Mesterfinalen where cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Norway. In Europe, Molde where knocked out of the 2020–21 UEFA Champions League by Ferencváros dropping into the Europa League where they progressed to the Round of 32 which will take place in the 2021 season.

The 2021 season is Molde's 14th consecutive year in Eliteserien, and their 45th season in the top flight of Norwegian football. They will also compete in the Norwegian Cup and Europa League and the Europa Conference League.

The 2022 season was Molde's 15th consecutive year in Eliteserien, and their 46th season in the top flight of Norwegian football. Molde finished the season as Champions of the Eliteserien and the 2021–22 Norwegian Cup, progressed to the Fourth Round of the 2022–23 Norwegian Cup, and were knocked out of the Europa Conference League in the group stage after finishing 3rd behind Djurgårdens and Gent, but ahead of Shamrock Rovers.

The 2023 season is Molde's 16th consecutive year in Eliteserien, and their 47th season in the top flight of Norwegian football.
