The Bold and the Beautiful is an American television soap opera, created by William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell for CBS. Debuting on March 23, 1987, [1] John McCook (Eric Forrester) and Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan) are the two longest-running cast members, each having appeared since the first episode. First broadcast on March 26, 1973, The Young and the Restless was originally broadcast as half-hour episodes, five times a week. The show expanded to one-hour episodes on February 4, 1980. In 2006, the series began airing previous episodes weeknights on SOAPnet until 2013, when it moved to TVGN. From July 1, 2013 until 2019, Pop aired previous episodes on weeknights. The series is also syndicated internationally.

Kyle Brandon Lowder is an American actor and news anchor. He began his career in 2000, when he was cast in the role of Brady Black on the NBC/Peacock soap opera Days of Our Lives; he remained in the role until his exit in 2005. Lowder went on to portray the role of Rick Forrester in the CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful from January 2007 to January 2011. In 2018, he returned to Days of Our Lives as Rex Brady. Starting in July 2023, Lowder announced via his Instagram page that he will be the new morning co-anchor for CBS affiliate KTVN in Reno, Nevada.
Darin Lee Brooks is an American actor. He is known for portraying Max Brady on the NBC daytime soap opera Days of Our Lives, Alex Moran on the Spike TV series Blue Mountain State, and Wyatt Spencer on the CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful.
Ingo Rademacher is a German-Australian television actor best known for his role of Jasper "Jax" Jacks on the American daytime soap opera General Hospital, which he played in multiple stints from 1996 to 2021. In 2012, he played Officer Sacks in the film Alex Cross. Rademacher placed 5th on the 16th season of Dancing with the Stars in 2013.
Bridget Forrester is a fictional character from The Bold and the Beautiful, an American soap opera on the CBS network. She first appeared in 1992 as the infant daughter of Brooke Logan and Eric Forrester. The character was portrayed by actress Ashley Jones from December 2004 to January 2011 as a regular, but was dropped to recurring status and continued to make appearances up until February 29, 2012, when Bridget left for New York along with a few others. Since 2013, Jones has continued to make guest appearances on the soap.
Thorne Forrester is a fictional character on CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful. The character was played by Clayton Norcross from the show's premiere in 1987 until 1989, by Jeff Trachta from 1989 until 1996 and Winsor Harmon from 1996 to 2016. In September 2017, Harmon announced that the role of Thorne was to be recast, and several days after, it was announced that daytime veteran Ingo Rademacher had been cast in the role; he made his first appearance on November 27, 2017. Rademacher departed the role in February 2019. Harmon briefly returned to the role in March 2022, and once again in December 2023.

Created and introduced by Bradley Bell, the role has been portrayed by multiple child actors. In 2004, the role was rapidly aged with actor Drew Tyler Bell, who remained in the role until 2010. That same year, Adam Gregory was cast in the role, who remained until 2014. The following year, Pierson Fodé was cast in the role. Fodé departed the role in September 2017 and returned for a one-month guest stint from March to April 2018. In February 2019, it was announced that Matthew Atkinson had been cast in the role; he debuted on March 15, 2019.
Steffy Forrester is a fictional character from the American CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful. Introduced by Bradley Bell, she is currently portrayed by Jacqueline MacInnes Wood. Steffy and her twin sister Phoebe were born onscreen as the daughters of supercouple Ridge Forrester and Taylor Hayes during the episode airing on September 21, 1999. For the character's first five-year period, she appeared as a minor. In 2005, Steffy was rapidly aged to a teenager, and in 2008 she appeared as an adult when Wood took over the role. Wood portrayed the role continuously until 2013, when she decided to leave her regular capacity with the series. Following a series of guest appearances, Wood returned as a series regular in 2015.
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is a Canadian actress, musician and television personality. For playing fashion executive and heiress Steffy Forrester Finnegan in the CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful (2008–present), she won three Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in 2019, 2021 and 2023. She has additionally starred as Olivia Castle in the horror film Final Destination 5 (2011), and hosted the E! series Party On (2013–2014).
Donna Logan is a fictional character from the CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful.
Taylor Hayes is a fictional character from the American CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful. The character was created by William J. Bell and originated by Hunter Tylo during the episode dated June 6, 1990. Tylo exited the series in 1994 but returned several months later. She exited again in 1996 after being cast on Melrose Place, but returned shortly after being fired from that show for being pregnant. After Tylo grew dissatisfied with her character's direction and agreed with executive producer Bradley Bell that Taylor was "played out", the character was subsequently killed off and last appeared in October 2002. Tylo reprised Taylor as a ghost in 2004 before returning as a regular in April 2005, with the character revealed to be alive.
