Episodes

To Love-Ru (2008 TV series)

Directed by Takao Kato, the first season aired in Japan between April 3 and September 25, 2008, for a total of 26 episodes. Three pieces of theme music are used for the episodes; one opening theme and two ending themes. The opening theme is "Forever We Can Make It!" performed by Thyme. The first ending theme, used in episodes 1-13 and again in episode 26, is titled "Lucky Tune"(ラッキーチューン,Rakkī Chūn) and is performed by Anna. The second ending theme, used in episodes 14-25, is "Kiss no Yukue"(kissの行方), also by Anna. A large majority of this season was anime-original and did not use much material from its source manga.

1	"The Girl Who Fell From the Sky" Transcription: "Maiorita Shōjo" (Japanese: 舞い降りた少女)	April 4, 2008 (2008-04-04)
Rito Yūki is a fifteen-year-old boy who has tried to confess to the girl whom he loves, Haruna Sairenji, numerous times but has been unable to do so through the strangest of circumstances. Meanwhile a mysterious extraterrestrial girl named Lala runs away to Earth in order to avoid daily arranged marriage candidate interviews set up by her father, the king of her home planet, Deviluke, as well as Emperor of the Milky Way Galaxy and Ruler of the known universe. Using one of her own inventions, she teleports naked into Rito's bathtub, where he accidentally gropes her breasts. It is later revealed to him that this is equivalent to a marriage proposal on Deviluke, and Lala happily accepts that she is to become Rito's future bride. Because Rito tried to save her from her uncle Zastin who came on the order of her father to bring Lala back home, Rito, on the other hand, due to his feelings for Haruna, does not want anything to do with Lala.
2	"A Broken Engagement!?" Transcription: "Kon'yaku Kaishō!?" (Japanese: 婚約解消!?)	April 11, 2008 (2008-04-11)
Rito discovers from Zastin, Lala's uncle and leader of her personal guard, that if he were to back out of his engagement with Lala, he would be killed and Lala's father would destroy the Earth. Rito hypothetically asks him if it were somehow possible to back out of his engagement and not suffer the repercussions. Zastin tells him that he must feel up Lala's breasts once more within the first three days of his engagement in order to call it off. While he attempts many times to touch Lala's breasts, he does not make it in time, and thus is stuck with the engagement. The next day while at school, a new transfer student is announced to the class. Just as Rito is thinking that school is the only place that he can breathe anymore, Lala is brought into class and all of Rito's hopes of a quiet school life fall apart.
3	"Love Triangle" Transcription: "Sankaku Kankei" (Japanese: 三角関係)	April 18, 2008 (2008-04-18)
Rito is devastated to hear from Haruna that she thinks he and Lala are suited for each other. At home, his younger sister Mikan notices Rito's depressed look and suggests that they should go out the next day to show Lala around town. While out, Lala's Artificial intelligence clothing device named Peke loses most of her energy, and due to this, Lala's clothes start dissolving. They head into a store and buy her new clothes, and while there run into Haruna. Together with Haruna, they go to the aquarium, but their visit is cut short when Lala makes a disturbance which floods the building.
4	"A Love Apron From Outer Space" Transcription: "Uchū no Rabu Epuron" (Japanese: 宇宙のLOVEエプロン)	April 25, 2008 (2008-04-25)
Rito gets scared when Zastin tells him that by marrying Lala he will one day become King of Deviluke, and that he will have to participate in interstellar war. That night, Lala cooks but the food is dreadful. In an effort to try to get out of one day participating in wars, Rito claims he will not marry Lala if she cannot cook. Lala quickly leaves and goes back into space, but appears again the next day at school with the intention of cooking something good for Rito. She collected ingredients from all over the galaxy which are still alive and wreak havoc in the school. Lala later explains to Rito that he does not have to go to war if he does not want to, and even her father has not participated in battles for some time. To further reassure him, Lala tells him that after they get married, she intends to live with him on Earth.
5	"The Queen's Challenge" Transcription: "Kuīn no Chōsenjō" (Japanese: くいーんの挑戦状)	May 2, 2008 (2008-05-02)
A pretty, rich girl named Saki Tenjouin comes back to school and finds that all the boys prefer Lala over herself, which angers her greatly. She gives Lala a letter challenging her to a beauty contest, and, to make sure she shows up, kidnaps Rito as a bait. He is warned by Saki that if Lala fails to show up in time, he will be forced to touch Saki's breasts in front of the entire school. Lala eventually shows up, but Bow-Bow Doggie-Kun, a dog-like robot created by Lala, rips off Saki's swimsuit, exposing her naked body to everyone and making her run away out of shame. Later, Saki catches the word that Lala might have a great secret, so she goes undercover to Rito’s house in order to find out and reveal the secret as payback for her humiliation. However, she triggers a bunch of traps around the house (which were placed by Zastin) and falls into a trapdoor that leads her to Rito's room. There, Saki accidentally hits a switch (which was also placed by Zastin) that ejects the room into space, with she and Lala inside. With the two of them sent flying off towards space, Zastin and his men take off in pursuit, only to be inadvertently shot down by Lala, which causes Saki to fall off the room, but Lala dives out and manages to save her, who faints. Shortly after, Saki wakes up to find herself fully naked in front of a crowd of people; Bow-Bow Doggie-Kun has ripped off all her clothes while she was unconscious. Publicly embarrassed, Saki once again blames Lala, who is flying around the city looking for her.
6	"The Alien Assassin" Transcription: "Uchūjin no Shikaku" (Japanese: 宇宙人の刺客)	May 9, 2008 (2008-05-09)
Ghi Buree, a shapeshifting alien, comes to propose to Lala. Knowing that Rito actually likes Haruna, he changes himself into the principal and takes Haruna hostage in the gym equipment room. He lures Rito there and offers to return Haruna if Rito cancels his engagement with Lala. Rito does not accept, divining Buree's true intentions. Lala later finds Rito and makes her disapproval of Ghi Buree's actions known, causing him to transform into a more intimidating monster. Rito surprisingly defeats Ghi Buree with his voice, revealing Ghi Buree to be a weak, cowardly alien who already has several wives and families.
7	"All Men Should Be Like This!" Transcription: "Otoko to wa Kaku Arubeshi!" (Japanese: 男とはかくあるべし)	May 16, 2008 (2008-05-16)
A childhood friend of Lala, Ren Elsie Jewelria, arrives on Earth claiming he is the only one manly enough to marry Lala. He constantly attempts to impress Lala by showing off his strength, speed, and looks, but all his efforts are in vain. After failing many times, Ren asks Rito how he is able to be manly enough for Lala, and in the process is hit from behind by a frisbee and accidentally kisses Rito. Ren watches Pocky (a spoof on Rocky), an inspirational story of how to be a man, and he works out non-stop in order to get Lala to love him. Eventually, Ren completes a 120 kilometer marathon and goes to Lala to hear her finally tell him how manly he is. However, at the moment Lala is confessing his manliness, he sneezes, causing him to turn into Run, a girl. Apparently, whenever Ren sneezes, his body and mind change genders into the innocent Run, and vice versa, an inherent ability of his species.
8	"The Prefect of Spotless Integrity" Transcription: "Seiren Keppaku Fūki Iin" (Japanese: 清廉潔白風紀委員)	May 23, 2008 (2008-05-23)
After the usual morning commotion involving Rito falling foul of Lala's inventions, accidentally tackling Haruna, being tackled in turn by Run who has now fallen in love with Rito after the kiss they shared while she was Ren and Saki trying to steal Rito away to once again prove her superiority, a fellow school student, Yui Kotegawa has had enough of the "ecchi" in the school. Not only does she try to clean it up, but she forms a squad to enforce new school rules and to check on the students behaviour. Yui believes that Rito is behind all the "ecchi" in school and forbids him from talking to any girl for 2 weeks. However, she soon notices that there is still ecchi in the school, even with Rito out of the way. She then begins to wonder if she had blamed Rito incorrectly. Yui follows Rito as he leaves their school and realizes that he is a kindhearted person. She then cancels his punishment. Meanwhile, Lala is throwing a party for Rito to cheer him up. She uses her machine to get him there, but as he is being pulled by the machine, Yui is brought along with him accidentally. The next day, Rito accidentally knocks Peke off of Lala causing her clothes to disappear. When Yui sees this, she gives Rito another punishment.
9	"From a Shining Star, With Love" Transcription: "Hikariboshi yori Ai o Komete" (Japanese: 光星より愛を込めて)	May 30, 2008 (2008-05-30)
Pikari, a man equipped with an armoured rocket suit, comes for Lala. Pikari tries to attack Lala and take her with him back to his homeland, but fails when Lala fights back and damages his rocket suit, resulting in him being unable to return home. He walks the streets at night and asks Ren and Zastin for advice. Zastin gives him directions to a hospital run by Ryouko Mikado where she heals him. Now recovered, he makes his final attempt in kidnapping Lala by paralyzing her while restraining Rito. Ryouko witnesses the incident and mummifies him before letting Lala launch Pikari back to his homeland without her.
10	"A Space Entertainer" Transcription: "Uchū no Onna Geinin" (Japanese: 宇宙の女芸人)	June 6, 2008 (2008-06-06)
Stella, the president of Lala's fanclub on Deviluke, comes to take Lala away for an idol CD debut, but Lala refuses because she enjoys Earth and wants to be with Rito. Stella blames Rito for creating this issue and demands that Rito find her a 'golden egg' to substitute Lala. Rito tries to stop her when the president fixates on Haruna being the golden egg. After stopping Stella's attempts at kidnapping Haruna, Rito proposes a better solution. Later that night, Mikan offers to be a substitute, giving Stella an idea of having Mikan, Rito, and Lala as a trio. When all seems to be going well, Stella is forced to return quickly when an audit reveals that her fanclub evaded tax payments.
11	"Golden Darkness" Transcription: "Konjiki no Yami" (Japanese: 金色の闇)	June 12, 2008 (2008-06-12)
Golden Darkness, an assassin, comes to earth having being paid by a client to kill Rito. Rito meets her and offers her a Taiyaki. Golden Darkness identifies Rito and attacks him. Zastin comes to the rescue, but is defeated. Lala fights as well, making Golden Darkness question the facts she was given about Rito's character. Lala tries to correct Golden Darkness, but Lacospo arrives, revealing himself as the client. His intent was to have Golden Darkness kill Rito so that he could propose to Lala. Lala tells Golden Darkness not to be deceived by Lacospo, but Lacospo fights back with a large alien frog. Lala and Rito defeat the frog, but Golden Darkness still considers Rito to be her target.
12	"A Frightening Field Day!" Transcription: "Senritsu Taiikusai" (Japanese: 戦慄体育祭)	June 20, 2008 (2008-06-20)
A perverted day for Rito at a sports festival; he can't seem to avoid accidentally touching Haruna and he thinks she hates him. The contests don't make sense and the principal starts out having the girls doing sexy body exercises, which ends up costing him. Later the girls end up dealing with a number of strange events that turn field day into a day of weirdness. The day only gets worse and worse for Rito.
13	"The Greatest Man in the Universe" Transcription: "Uchūichi no Otoko" (Japanese: 宇宙一の男)	June 27, 2008 (2008-06-27)
The day starts out like any other day for Rito, face-to-face with Lala in his bed. Zastin comes to Rito's house to tell him that Lala's father is coming to see him to make sure he is worthy of marrying Lala. Throughout the day Rito worries about what Lala's father looks like and can't get it out of his mind. Today at school all of the girls that have appeared throughout the other episodes seem to make his day "interesting." Rito gets called to the roof to speak with another girl who is mysteriously seen a couple times throughout the start of this episode,but after he gets done talking to her he hears a man's voice. The woman was a test arranged by Lala's father to see if Rito was worthy, and he has failed. A small boy appears before Rito. He doesn't believe that this is Lala's father who soon shows why he is the ruler of the galaxy. Lala runs to the roof before anything can happen and saves Rito. After seeing his daughter protecting Rito and telling why she loves him, King Deviluke challenges Rito to become the number one man in the galaxy. Rito goes home and thinks this over and decides that he is going to do it.
14	"A Secret Between the Two of Us" Transcription: "Futari dake no Himitsu" (Japanese: ふたりだけの秘密)	July 4, 2008 (2008-07-04)
After thinking about what Lala's father said to him and the challenge that lies ahead, he brainstorms ideas on how to become the number one man in the galaxy. He starts training and meets Haruna, walking her dog, Maron, during his first run. After explaining to Haruna that he must change, she decides to cheer him on, meeting everyday during his runs. His goal to change also affects Haruna, who eventually asks him on a date to eat lunch together at the river bank. During that time, Haruna's dog chases a bird and falls into the river. After Rito saves him, the two go to Haruna's house to clean Rito's wet clothes. While waiting for his clothes to dry (Rito ends up wearing a towel), the two talk about their middle school days. When Haruna was about to go to check if Rito's clothes were dry, she trips. They almost kiss, only to have Haruna's older sister walk in on them, and another awkward situation becomes more awkward when Rito's towel falls off.
15	"Princess of the Jungle" Transcription: "Mitsurin no Purinsesu" (Japanese: 密林のプリンセス)	July 11, 2008 (2008-07-11)
At school, Zastin accidentally reveals that Lala is an alien. Zastin also takes Lala, Rito and Haruna into space to be ambassadors of peace. They meet an alien, Prince Carter from the planet Burroughs, who invites them on a hunt at a secret underground alien hunting preserve in the jungles of Guyana. The one with the most success on the hunt wins the title of the Greatest Hunter in the Universe. They encounter dinosaurs, Amazons who wish to marry Rito and a giant gorilla "Ginga Kong" which Haruna tames. In the end Haruna wins the title as the Greatest Hunter in the Universe.
16	"Run's Surprise Confession" Transcription: "Run no Totsugeki Kokuhaku Taimu" (Japanese: ルンの突撃告白タイム)	July 19, 2008 (2008-07-19)
The episode begins as Rito and all his schoolmates go to a water park. Run believes it's her time to make a move and further her relationship with Rito. She attempts many times throughout the episode to obtain Rito's attention, such as trying to lure him towards her with a fishing pole, sneaking up behind him as he's bringing back ice cream, using a vacuum to pull him away from a waterslide, and even by using fiber-eating fish to eat away each of the girls bikini tops in order to scare them away from Rito. All attempts fail however, sending Run into a state of depression. She encounters Montemitsu who then buys her food. Run then encounters Rito's teacher, that he teach her the ways of becoming famous, for Run now decides she wants to become a famous idol. After rigorous training, Run decides it's too hard of a feat to accomplish. When she is attacked by some people, Rito shows up to save her. Lala defeats the attackers using one of her inventions. The episode closes as everyone leaves the water park, and Run states that her fight for love has only begun.
17	"The Ghost in the Old School Building" Transcription: "Kyūkōsha no Yūrei" (Japanese: 旧校舎の幽霊)	July 25, 2008 (2008-07-25)
A haunted school building is shown at the episode's beginning. Lala, Risa, Mio, and a frightened Haruna are seen conversing about ghosts and monsters. Lala then suggests that the four of them and Rito should go explore the haunted house. As they all enter the building, a lock closes behind them. They continue to explore the old school and hear what sounds like approaching footsteps. Rito notices Haruna's fright, and tries to leap at the approaching figure, only to find out its Yami. They then hear a piano which chases after them. Yami slices the piano into pieces and everything seems alright. But then a skeleton and a disfigured-looking human appear, constantly saying "get out". An octopus creature appears, which frightens Haruna to such an extent that she uses Rito as a weapon and deals a mighty blow to the creature's head. The other monsters then show themselves to the group, but this time without hostility. They explain to the group that they are aliens from other down-sized planets that have gathered in the old building. Ryouko appears and tries to help the monsters find a job in order to make a living for themselves. Also, a ghost girl named Oshizu appears and explains everything about herself to the group. Ryouko and the monsters appear again to tell the group that the person they talked to only wants to hire female monsters, which none of the monsters are. Oshizu then teaches them how to be more feminine, and the monsters are then hired. Lala, Rito, Yami, and Ryouko are then invited to a party where all the monsters are. The episode closes as Lala and Rito are astonished to see Zastin attending the party.
18	"Saruyama, the Gift" Transcription: "Saruyama ga Omiyage" (Japanese: 猿山がお土産)	August 1, 2008 (2008-08-01)
Ryouko hears a spaceship flying towards the roof of the school and decides to check it out. It turns out it is a package for Lala, so Ryouko tells Lala to check it out. Lala, Rito, and Saruyama go to the school roof to check out the package, and as Lala opens it, a giant cat jumps out and attempts to kill Lala. The cat then suffers stomach pains and explains that she's pregnant, and that she accepted a mission to kill Lala before she knew her pregnancy would become a problem. Rito, Saruyama, and Lala are appalled to hear this, and so they take the cat mother to the school infirmary. Saruyama is then left in charge of taking care of her while she's giving birth. Lala believes the cat mother deserves a souvenir as a gift for her child's birth. The cat mother then tells Lala that she wants Saruyama as her gift. After hearing this, Saruyama angrily declines. Lala tells Risa and Mio about Saruyama becoming a gift for the cat, and so they decide to dress him up as a fish so he'll look like a more memorable souvenir. They take Saruyama to the cat to show her that he's ready to be taken with her. The cat then asks if Saruyama is going out with another girl, because if he is, she believes his happiness is important and doesn't wish to interfere with his relationship. Lala says he isn't, but Saruyama quickly declines and takes advantage of this moment to find a girl quickly as an excuse to not be taken as a souvenir. All the girls in the school reject him however, except for Haruna who tries to help him. As Saruyama asks Haruna to go out with him, Rito becomes jealous and stops Saruyama from using Haruna. Now incredibly desperate for an excuse, Saruyama finds a dog outside which he uses as his excuse. As he goes back to the infirmary to show the cat mother his newly acquired girlfriend, Lala tells them that she left with her baby because she wants Saruyama to be happy. Saruyama cries from hearing this, and then discovers the dog he found was actually a male.
19	"Hell's Hot Springs: Alien Girls and Colorful Exposed Bodies" Transcription: "Jigoku Onsen Onna Uchūjin Nanairo Porori" (Japanese: 地獄温泉女宇宙人七色ポロリ)	August 8, 2008 (2008-08-08)
Lala is seen watching a commercial on TV about the Tsumata Misami Hot Springs. She then tells Rito that she wants her own hot spring. Rito finds Lala attempting to build something in their yard. Lala then asks Rito to go get her a drink, so Rito heads to the store where he is suddenly attacked by Yami as a test. Rito tells her that Lala is back at home building something; after hearing this, Yami leaves. When Rito returns, he finds that Lala constructed a large drill machine which she intends to use to dig underground and hopefully find a hot spring. Mio, Risa, Ryouko, Yami, Haruna, and Saruyama are all invited to join Rito and Lala dig underground. As they travel, they find Tokugawa's hidden treasure and the entrance to Atlantis, which Lala nonchalantly passes by due to there being no hot springs nearby. They eventually come across what is known as the Seven Colored Hot Springs due to the water appearing as seven different colors. All the girls enjoy using the big and spacious springs, while Saruyama and Rito are stuck using a very small and cramped one. Saruyama decides to get out of the small spring and mess with the girls in the other hot springs. Rito soon follows, and sees Saruyama chasing after Risa and Mio, which Rito then tells him to stop. They come across Ryouko and Yami, who then punches them both with her hair stating that she hates ecchi people. Lala then tells Haruna she needs to leave the spring to try to find a hot spring she can bring back to Rito's house. Rito then finds Haruna and they try to start a conversation which is interrupted by Lala who tells them that they need to leave quickly because she accidentally hit an underground volcano. They come across a civilization of moles who seek to rule the Earth's surface, but the moles are then killed by the flowing magma, and everyone returns safely to the surface.
20	"Explosive Heat Magical Girl Kyouko Flame" Transcription: "Bakunetsu Shōjo Majikaru Kyōko Fureimu" (Japanese: 爆熱少女 マジカルキョーコ炎)	August 15, 2008 (2008-08-15)
After learning that the afro-inflicting General Mojack is attempting to take over the world, Kirisaki Kyouko takes it upon herself to stop him and changes into Magical Kyouko Flame. Kyoko thwarts Mojack's plan who later he returns with his mother to exact revenge on Kyoko. In doing so, General Mojack's mother and father reunite and use this festive opportunity to once again attempt to destroy Kyouko. In the end, there is a three way struggle between Mojack's attempts to take over the world, Kyouko's actions to burn everything to save it, and the fire chief's efforts to keep the district safe. From the couch, Rito must suffer through watching this episode as Lala finds it thrilling.
21	"A Chronicle of Bloodshed at the Yuuki Inn" Transcription: "Yūkitei Keppūroku" (Japanese: 結城亭血風録)	August 22, 2008 (2008-08-22)
Ryouko and Galaxy Network’s editor, Kimio, tempt Rito with the prospect of running Earth’s only (and potentially the galaxy’s best) alien hotel. The old school building is chosen as the location for the hotel. After Lala calls upon Zastin and her other bodyguards to help rebuild the dilapidated building, the Yuuki Pavilion opens and begins accepting customers. While the number of customers increases, Rito finds himself overrun and is quickly becoming exhausted; as a result he begins to recruit help from Oshizu, the ghost inhabiting the building, Yami, who works as a maid in order to stay for free, and his sister Mikan who will be the chef for the inn. As the number of customers eventually dwindles to zero, a large group of miniature samurai-like men, from the planet Ako, begin to arrive. During repeated attempts to develop an attack plan on the planet Deviluke, they are repeatedly interrupted by Rito's attempts to offer them food and a bath. Eventually the leader accepts an offer of tea while he is in the midst of using a hologram to show the systems outlying Deviluke. When one of his men tries to hide the hologram, he responds by saying, "Don't mind it. The primitive people of Earth won't understand what it is." Lala, however, immediately recognizes the planet on display which leads to a confrontation between the samurai and Rito, Lala, Yami, Zastin and the bodyguards. In the end, the inn is destroyed and with it Rito's dreams of being the galaxy's best alien hotel are lost.
22	"A Frightening School Festival!" Transcription: "Senritsu! Bunkasai" (Japanese: 戦慄!文化祭)	August 29, 2008 (2008-08-29)
After reflecting on her experiences on Earth, Yami reminds herself that she’s an assassin and decides to look for a job. At school, Yui tries to coordinate what her class is going to do for the culture festival and gives only two options, a calligraphy display or a region research exhibit, much to everyone’s disappointment. Saruyama takes the lead and the class chooses to take on an animal cafe for their project. The class prepares for Culture Day as Yami continues to look for work in assassination. When she fails to find employment, she returns to the school in time to help with the animal cafe.
23	"Saruyama’s Tales of the Inner Chambers" Transcription: "Saruyama no Ōoku Monogatari" (Japanese: 猿山の大奥物語)	September 5, 2008 (2008-09-05)
After watching Rito and all the girls around him, Saruyama becomes jealous of his popularity and wishes he was a noble in Edo Castle. He then has daydreams of his many adventures as the ruler of Edo Castle, where all his friends make appearances.
24	"With Shyness" Transcription: "Hajirai Nagara" (Japanese: はじらいながら)	September 12, 2008 (2008-09-12)
Lala starts acting weird one morning, and is diagnosed with a fever that causes her to change personality every day. Rito has to deal with a new personality each day while waiting for her medicine to arrive, and has to thwart a plan to take over the world constructed by a harsh, dictator-like Deviluke princess.
25	"The Earth's Final Night" Transcription: "Chikyū Saigo no Yoru" (Japanese: 地球最後の夜)	September 19, 2008 (2008-09-19)
After taking back his daughter, the King of Deviluke sends Zastin to deliver a message to Rito. Rito finds out that, the next day, he needs to board the Devilukean spaceship to prove he is really number one in the Universe. He confesses his feelings to Haruna, and takes off the next day to board the spaceship, with the citizens of Japan, and Earth, cheering for him. Eventually, he comes across a dangerous plant that grows extremely fast. He manages to run away, but cannot do so forever and gets caught. However, a SUV comes and Kotegawa saves Rito, only to hit him again for a misunderstanding. Mikado drives the SUV towards the spaceship and the episode is left at a cliffhanger.
26	"Lala" Transcription: "Rara" (Japanese: ララ)	September 26, 2008 (2008-09-26)
The SUV is halted due to a huge hole in the ground. They are picked up by Saki in her helicopter. However, it is sent plummeting to the ground from an air assault. Saved by Golden Darkness, they continue their race. They are stopped by slimes, but with the help of his companions, Rito manages to get past them. He then encounters these alien plants which release a gas; sending him in to a dream state. Nearly losing to the dream, he is awoken by the voice of Haruna. He finishes the race, and in a turn of events, he finds himself marrying Lala. Lala however, drops the marriage, saying she wanted to consider Rito's feeling. Wanting to start over, Lala brings out a new gadget and erases everyone's memories of her. However, the following day, when she transfers to the school, she is greeted by her class. Like all her other inventions, this gadget was faulty, and everyone was able to keep their memories of her.

To Love-Ru (2009–2010 OVA series)

Directed by Takao Kato, these OVAs take place before Motto To Love-Ru. The opening for the OVA is "Yattekoi Daisuki!" (Come On Do It, I Love You). The ending for the OVA is "Apple Panic ?!". Both are sung by Haruka Tomatsu (Lala Satalin Deviluke) and Sayuri Yahagi (Haruna Sairenji). OVA 3's ending song is "Lucky Tune" by Anna.

Saki finds Rito (still as a girl) unconscious and brings him/her into Saki's mansion. Riko (Rito as a girl) begins to feel that being a girl may be better than being a boy. While being forced to take a shower with Saki and her friends, Riko’s boob sizes dramatically changes as a result of Lala’s invention. He/she gets turned back into boy by one of Lala's newer inventions when she appears out of nowhere, and the episode ends when Saki and the others deliver a painful beating upon Rito by hitting him in the face with a baseball bat.

Rito is always spending time with Lala; he barely talks to Mikan and creates more work for Mikan to do. Mikan, tired of the situation, suddenly storms out of the house. While Rito and Lala go looking for Mikan, there are few flashbacks of Rito and Mikan in the past including building a snowman. As Rito and Lala look for Mikan, they are intercepted by Saki as she challenges Lala to a barbecue match. Yami comforts Mikan before Rito finds her thanks to Haruna, who explains why Mikan may be feeling upset. Mikan feels okay about the situation, so the two decide to go for a walk. She teases Rito about Lala and Haruna. They go to the same park where Rito and Mikan built a snowman in the past. Lala summons a snow machine to recreate the past event and wishes to see her siblings as well.
3	"Welcome to the Southern Resort!!" Transcription: "Minami no Rizōto e Yōkoso!!" (Japanese: 南の島<リゾート>へようこそ!!)	August 4, 2009 (2009-08-04)
Haruna wins a south island resort trip for 10 females. She invites Lala, Mikan, Risa, Mio, Yui, Oshizu, Yami, Run, and Ryouko to the vacation. Rito, thanks to the mess that Lala left behind, activates one of Lala's inventions and gets stuck inside Maron's (Haruna's dog) body. Mistaking it as a bag that Lala left behind (the invention initially turns Maron’s body into a bag), Mikan takes the bag with her, not knowing that she has also brought Rito along with them.
4	"Trouble Quest" Transcription: "Toraburu Kuesto" (Japanese: とらぶるくえすと)	November 4, 2009 (2009-11-04)
Rito and the others got stuck inside a RPG game made by Lala's sisters, Nana and Momo. In order to exit from the game, Rito and the others must defeat the great demon lord and rescue Lala. Rito, thinking Lala is behind the entire game, makes progress through the game. He does not realize that the real intent of the game is for Nana and Momo to analyze Rito and find out his true feelings. At the climax of the game, the demon lord teleports Rito to her castle and forces him to admit his feelings to Lala. As Rito cannot bring out a definite answer and Lala covered him up, the angry demon lord tries to defeat all of the characters by modifying the game to give her all the powerups and erase their data. Nana and Momo join in by summoning a giant talking Marron and Celine in her plant form and defeat the demon lord.
5	"Nana and Momo" Transcription: "Nana to Momo" (Japanese: ナナとモモ)	February 4, 2010 (2010-02-04)
Rito finds Momo under the covers of his bed, before Nana, one of Lala's sisters, accuses him of sleeping with her. Nana questions Momo why all girls including Lala are attracted to Rito. After observing one whole day with Rito, Nana concludes that everyone is mistaken about Rito. Lala, Mikan, and Rito invite Nana and Momo to Hanami, but Momo turns them down, hoping to use this event to prove her statement about Rito. During the event, Momo summons an alien plant that releases pollen which will bring out everyone's true feelings. The pollen affects everyone except Lala and Rito. Nana does not feel convinced and forces the alien plant to release more pollen. The plant becomes possessed by its own pollen and captures Nana and Momo and later Lala. The plant drops Nana and Rito comes to the rescue, changing Nana's impression on Rito.

Yami and Yui confront with a senior; Yui subsequently loses her panties. She tries to search for her panties while hiding the 'secret' from everyone. Everyone questions about Yui's behavior. Later, an incident with Oshizu and a dog exposes her secret to Rito, but a teapot knocks him unconscious before he realizes what he saw, which he describes as "extraordinary". Mikan finds Peke taking snapshots of new clothing while shopping. Suddenly, a stranger steals her bag and runs. Mikan uses Peke's transformation to pursue the thief, who is actually an alien. When she finally confronts him in Yami's clothes, the alien initially mistakes her for Yami, but then notices her brown hair. He then tries to attack her, until Rito arrives at the scene and kicks him down to the ground. The thief tries to shoot down Mikan and Rito, but the real Yami arrives and defeats the thief. As Rito tries to explore Lala's cleaned-up bedroom, he accidentally activates one of Lala's invention, fusing his hand to Lala's tail. As Rito cannot get his hands off, he goes through a whole day of incidents, including a beating from Nana. During bedtime, Lala tells Rito she enjoyed being with Rito for a whole day. The effects wear off the next day, but Celine activates the invention, making her stuck to Rito's head.

Motto To Love-Ru (2010 TV series)

Directed by Atsushi Ootsuki, Motto takes place one year after the events of the first season. The opening is "Loop-the-Loop" by Kotoko and the ending is "Baby Baby Love" by Haruka Tomatsu.

Lala then embraces Rito and says that she loves him, with the entire student body as a witness. Lala and the others go to a public bathhouse. Two bounty hunters, Tiger and Panther who are after Yami attach a body controlling device to Rito and use him as a puppet to attack her. Realizing that Yami will not attack Rito, they began to mess with the other girls. Mikan discovers their hiding spot and Lala overrides their signal with a more powerful controller and has Rito beat them up. Yui and the discipline committee implement a demerit policy to ensure the morality of the school. Yui starts to deduct points for any signs of misbehaviour and confiscates one of Lala's inventions. While walking home Yui gets caught in the rain and ends up sheltering in the same place as Rito who becomes flustered over Yui's wet t-shirt and offers her his handkerchief to dry off. After almost being seen by the Principal, Yui also becomes flustered at being so close to Rito and leaves, deducting 8 points from herself for being attracted to Rito while also keeping his handkerchief. Rito is blown up by Lala's invention Yui had dropped.

Lala accidentally drops all her gadgets at school. As Rito tries to keep Haruna away from Lala's dangerous gadgets, Rito and Haruna accidentally activate the warp ring, sending both of them to an unknown location naked. Though initially embarrassed toward each other, Haruna and Rito start talking about their pasts, but are discovered by Ryouko before they can become closer, as the unknown location was in the basement at her clinic. Haruko, Mikan's teacher, wants to visit Saibai (Mikan and Rito's dad) because she is a fan of his manga. Due to a new deadline, Saibai is unable to visit. Lala dresses Rito up as Saibai to meet with Haruko, but Rito is too nervous. Lala feeds him a relaxing drug that accidentally gets him drunk and he ends up embarrassing both Haruko and Mikan. Lala and Mikan invites Haruna and Yami to a sleepover party. After a big dinner Rito decides to take a bath. However, Lala, who does not know Rito is in the bath, enlarges the bathroom so all the girls can bathe together (with Rito still inside). Although the enlarged bathroom is large enough for Rito to hide from the girls, Peke accidentally deactivates Lala's controller restoring the bathroom to its original size with Rito and the girls all naked together in the bath. Yami, who believes Rito is being perverted, chases him.

Rito is assigned to deliver important papers to Yui who is sick at home. Yuu, Yui's brother invites Rito to Yui's bedroom. Yui is uncomfortable with Rito in her room and panics leading to Rito accidentally touching Yui's breast in front of Yuu, giving him the wrong impression about their relationship. Later, Lala and the others visit Yui to cheer her up. Rito puts on a pair of glasses he finds in Lala's room. However, the glasses lock on to Rito's head and he can't take them off. Mikan comes into his room to empty his trash in her underwear, acting like there is nothing out of the ordinary. He quickly realizes that the glasses let him see through peoples clothes to their underwear. Rito struggles even more when he accidentally adjusts the settings causing him to see everyone completely naked. Lala arrives to help remove the glasses until Run interferes and accidentally transforms into Ren while falling onto Rito who, still wearing the glasses on the naked setting, sees up his skirt. Saruyama wants to see Riko having fallen in love with her at first sight. Lala sets up a date by forcefully transforming Rito into a girl and having him meet up with Saruyama at a specified time and place. Saruyama and Riko go out on a date to places such as a love movie. By the end of the day when Saruyama was about to confess to Riko the effects wear off and Rito, having turned back into a boy, runs away before Saruyama hugs him. Haruna ends up seeing Rito wearing a skirt.
4	"Yami-Yami Fashion" Transcription: "Yami-Yami Fasshon" (Japanese: ヤミヤミファッション)	October 27, 2010 (2010-10-27)
Risa and Mio find Yami reading fashion magazines. As Yami always wears the same battle dress, Risa and Mio bring her to a clothes shop and try to find her a new style. Yami finds some attractive new clothes but accidentally tears her new skirt protecting Rito from delinquents. In the end, she reverts to her normal clothes but ends up punching Rito when he sees she is wearing new frilly panties under her battle dress. When Haruna takes her dog, Maron, out for a walk she feels that someone is stalking her. She finds Oshizu on her break from Mikado-sensei's clinic, and asks for help. Lala helps Haruna by making a machine that switches their bodies. Using the bait trick, Lala and Oshizu defeat the stalker. The stalker turns out to be a female dog-like alien who is actually in love with Maron, though Oshizu beats her up anyway as she is terrified of dogs. Gid orders Zastin to retrieve Nana and Momo, because they escaped to avoid studying the Royal Lineage of Deviluke. Nana and Momo hide in Rito's bathroom and the former beats him up when he sees them naked. Zastin appears and chases them to a bridge where Nana and Momo use their Pe-dials to summon dangerous animals and plants to attack Zastin and his assistants and Rito as well. Zastin is forced to admit defeat and Nana and Momo remodel Rito's house so they can live with Lala on earth.
5	"Queen of Love!?" Transcription: "Ren'ai Kuīn!?" (Japanese: 恋愛クイーン!?)	November 3, 2010 (2010-11-03)
Saki daydreams of Zastin. Her servants, Aya and Rin, help by kidnapping Rito, who is hiding from Lala and her lethal cooking. Aya and Rin demand Rito bring Zastin to school. When Zastin arrives, Saki tries to confess to him but gets interrupted by Lala who has found Rito and attempts to feed him her lunch, causing Rito to run in panic towards Saki, exposing her panties to an embarrassed Zastin. Rito is chased by all four girls while Zastin leaves. Run tries to defeat Lala with an alien skunk that will gas Lala turning her into a child, making her weak. However, the skunk gases Run into a child then escapes and causes chaos at school by gassing everybody into children except Haruna who has to take care of them all. Run tries to catch the skunk and nearly falls off the top of the building. Lala, also a child, rescues Run and catches the skunk, but then accidentally drops Run off the roof anyway. Yui watches everyone prepare for Valentine's Day and decides to make some chocolate for Rito, though she struggles to make it properly. Yui finishes the chocolate but is too nervous to actually give it to Rito, instead yelling at the terrified and apologetic Rito several times. Watching other girls easily deliver their chocolates to Rito and how happy it makes him, Yui finally gains the confidence to give him her chocolates.
6	"Beach Girls♡" Transcription: "Bīchi Gāruzu♡" (Japanese: ビーチ·ガールズ♡)	November 10, 2010 (2010-11-10)
Rito and the others visit Saki's private beach. Oshizu forces Rito to apply sun tan oil to the half naked Ryouko until an angry Yui intervenes. Saki tries to beat Lala in her Watermelon Split contest, but Rito, thrown into the air by Nana, destroys all the watermelons. Momo summons an alien watermelon instead but Saki insults it, causing it to attack everyone. After Rito is put in danger trying to protect Lala, Yami suddenly splits the angry watermelon in half, believing the watermelon attack was simply part of the game. Haruna receives a 98 on a math test while Rito receives an absymal 18. He bumps into Yami, who tells him to seek Lala for help. To Rito's surprise, Lala had received a perfect 100. Peke explains to Rito about Lala's genius intellect. Despite Lala helping Rito study for tomorrow's exam, he is distracted by Lala being naked once again and completely forgets everything she had taught him. Rito continuing to become flustered has led to no progress being made in Lala's relationship with him. Risa and Mio help Lala by giving her a book on seduction techniques. While on a date Lala tries many methods, but only makes Rito angry after accidentally injuring him again. Lala tries the "Tsundere Trick" and almost succeeds in seducing Rito but forgets the next step, ruining the mood. Having failed, Lala cries. With some subtle help from Peke Rito sees the seduction book and admits that he enjoyed the date, inspiring Lala to keep trying.
7	"Yami's Clinic" Transcription: "Yami no Shinryōjo" (Japanese: 闇の診療所)	November 17, 2010 (2010-11-17)
After another incident in the library, Yami tries to kill Rito, but is too weak to control her weapons. Rito notices Yami's high fever and rushes her to the clinic with the help of Lala. Rito ends up semi catatonic when he is made to help Ryouko remove Yami's clothes. During treatment, Ryouko tells Yami how Rito helped her and she should thank him. Yami does not understand why Rito continues to treat her as a friend when she is trying to kill him. She then tries to kill him again when he sees her getting dressed. Run unwillingly stars as the scantily clad villain in the next Magical Kyouko episode. Run becomes jealous when Kyouko, the heroine, receives all the praise while she receives all the criticism. Kyouko then eats lunch with Run and tells her that she's actually one of her fans. When the Principal attacks Run in a lust fuelled frenzy, Kyouko reveals that her ability to control fire is real, and that she is half human and half flame jinn. Run reveals her identity as an alien and they become friends. On the way to school, Haruna notices a dog running around her. When Lala and Rito meet up with Haruna, Haruna acts strange, even groping Risa and Mio and stealing Yui's bra. Haruna then confesses to Rito, shocking him. When Rito tries to confess back, Haruna freaks out from seeing some dogs and Rito sees Oshizu leaving Haruna's body. Oshizu explains she had been running away from the dog Haruna saw earlier and accidentally possessed her before deciding to have fun with Haruna's body. She also explains she only confessed to Rito because it was something Haruna secretly wanted to do, which embarrasses Haruna. Risa and Mio happily welcome back the real Haruna.
8	"Grow Bigger ♪" Transcription: "Ōkiku Nāre" (Japanese: 大きくなぁーれ♪)	November 24, 2010 (2010-11-24)
Hearing about Risa and Mio talk about a perfect body, Haruna thinks about her bust in relation to Lala and how she's failed to enlarge them, though she is happy when Rito says he values personality more than he does breast size. She and Oshizu find Nana angry about Momo teasing her for having a flat chest. Nana works together with Haruna and Oshizu to enlarge their breasts. After many attempts, Haruna tells Nana to stop and quotes Rito that personality matters more. Haruna finds a helpless stray dog with Maron and takes him in for care. Maron asks the dog about his origin, who turns out to be Rito stuck inside a dog's body thanks to another Lala invention. Haruna takes Rito into the shower with her to clean him up. Maron tries to teach Rito how to act like a dog and has him lick Haruna as a way of showing affection. However, Rito becomes overwhelmed and flees. Lala finds Rito and puts him back in his own body, offering to turn him into a cat next time. Mikan wishes to change bodies with Yami to experience her abilities. Yami agrees and Lala performs the change. With switched bodies, Mikan struggles to control Yami's abilities and has to escape the principal. Yami, on the other hand, easily beats up the Principal without her abilities and learns about siblings and caring from Rito, who does not know about the body swap and thinks Mikan is sick or depressed. Afterwards, Yami admits she has learned new things about Rito and is slightly envious Mikan has him as her brother.
9	"For Whom the Bell Tolls" Transcription: "Dare ga Tame ni Beru wa Naru" (Japanese: 誰がためにベルは鳴る)	December 1, 2010 (2010-12-01)
Christmas Day is approaching. Rito plans to invite Yami to their Christmas party to make Mikan happy and also invites Haruna who he meets shopping. Mikan explains to Lala about Christmas. Mikan and Rito never had a big Christmas celebration since their parents are rarely home, so this is Mikan and Rito's first big Christmas celebration with friends. Lala makes Mikan's wish come true by bringing her parents home for Christmas. At the end, Rito gets in trouble with his mother, who demands to know who Celine's mother is. Momo accidentally uses a device which transports Rito into Peke's body. Hoping not to upset Lala, Momo brings Peke to Lala in time for P.E. and tells Rito to act like Peke. Lala's warm up stretches shock Rito as he feels her entire body with his own. When Lala jogs, Rito becomes so flustered he malfunctions and causes havoc by changing Lala's P.E. clothes into a bikini, which is so tight it wedges itself between her buttocks. This causes Rito to panic even more and he ends up changing the clothes of every girl in the class. Now completely euphoric from feeling Lala's body, Rito passes out and deactivates, leaving Lala naked. Momo brings a replacement outfit to Lala and vows to repair Peke. Run begs Rito to pretend to be her boyfriend because she lied to Kyouko about being in a relationship. Rito accepts. As Rito and Run walk with Kyouko, the principal attacks. Run accidentally strips her and Kyouko with a clothes dissolving bomb that she had mistaken for a pervert repellent bomb. After torching the principal, Kyouko tells Run that she knows Run lied about having a boyfriend. Rito brings Lala to restore their clothes, but Lala hypes over Kyouko instead.
10	"Pollen Telepathy" Transcription: "Kafun Denshin" (Japanese: 花粉伝心)	December 8, 2010 (2010-12-08)
Rito takes Celine out for a walk and meets up with Yui. As Yui argues with another person about Rito and her being a couple and Celine their daughter, Celine wanders off and steals a Cola. She drinks it and, being part plant, becomes drunk from the sugar and begins spreading pollen everywhere that immediately makes people fall in love with Rito. Saki and the others get infected by the pollen and fall for Rito along with an entire street full of passers-by. Rito tries to escape, but gets tackled by the principal who is thankfully arrested by the police. Back home Momo explains the victims of Celine's pollen likely fell in love with Rito because Celine loves Rito the most. Rito is assigned to shop for groceries, but gets intercepted by Risa who uses him to get rid of another guy. Risa returns the favor by taking him to Mio's workplace, a maid café. Risa tests Rito's reaction to girls, leading him by love hotels and to her house where she takes him into her bedroom. After Risa finishes toying with him, Rito arrives home late with no shopping done. Back in her bedroom, Risa appears to regret not having gone further with Rito. Rito requests from Yui a book titled "Midnight Date" for his dad's manga and hands her his contact info. Yui contacts Rito with a text message about the book, but Rito is too sleepy and wants Momo to answer. Momo misinterprets the message as being about an actual date between Rito and Yui and responds awkwardly. Yui in turn misinterprets Momo's awkward response to mean more than it does. Nana takes Rito's cellphone and asks a more provocative question about breasts. Celine then steals the phone and sends a nude photo of Lala to Yui.
11	"All Quiet on the "Sister" Front" Transcription: "'Imōto' Sensen Ijō Ari" (Japanese: 「妹」戦線異状アリ)	December 15, 2010 (2010-12-15)
Mikan turns down another love confession and starts thinking about her feelings for Rito. She becomes jealous about Momo being close to Rito and sneaking into his bed at night. Mikan tries to uncover Momo's secrets by sneaking into Rito's bed herself to catch Momo sneaking in. Instead she experiences Rito's more hands on sleeping personality. Seeing no signs of Momo, Mikan tries to leave only to be frightened by thunder. She is surprised when Rito hugs and comforts her so she won't be scared, even though he is still asleep. The next day, Rito panics over finding Mikan in his bed and that Momo had been watching them. Rito and Lala try to catch Celine who is drunk on Cola again, but Celine spreads her pollen on Yami, making her fall in love with Rito, which quite rightly terrifies him. Yami borrows the terrified Rito for a date and tries to understand love by feeding Rito taiyaki and trying to kiss him. On returning to normal Yami beats him up again but wants to know why he didn't kiss her. Rito says it was because you don't kiss someone who isn't thinking normally. He is then shocked when Yami smiles at him and then assures that he's still her target, which terrifies him once more. Nana, unable to understand why so many girls like Rito, storms out of the house after catching Momo sneaking into Rito's bed again. She then rescues Maron from a car. As Nana collects information from Maron, Haruna finds him and takes Nana into her apartment where she meets Haruna's older sister, Akiho. Nana and Haruna talk about their viewpoints on Rito, prompting Nana to return home but ends up caught in the rain. Rito then appears with a spare umbrella for her, though they end up arguing again. Haruna, knowing that she cannot continue to hide her feelings, tells Lala that she likes Rito too.
12	"I Love You♡ 1" Transcription: "Daisuki♡1" (Japanese: 大スキ♡1)	December 22, 2010 (2010-12-22)
Starting from where Episode 11 left off, Lala accepts Haruna's feelings and vows to help her have her own relationship with Rito. At the water park, Yami is less violent towards Rito than normal and Haruna and Lala are noticeably closer. Yui is flustered at being around Rito in her bikini. Saruyama observes Rito and tells him that he has changed after Lala came around as Rito is more comfortable being with girls. Rito tries to understand the values of Lala. Nearby, Run and Kyouko perform a concert when an alien amoeba attacks and suffocates everyone. Lala tries to rescue Haruna, who gets eaten by the amoeba, but suffocates. Rito sacrifices himself to rescue Lala and Haruna. As Haruna and Lala try to rescue Rito from death, Rito sees flashbacks and realizes that he loves Lala too. After the amoeba was defeated by Yami and Lala, Rito tells Lala in private that he loves her, but loves Haruna too. Lala happily proposes that Rito marry both of them. Peke says, "Since the marriage between Rito-Dono and Lala-Sama will make him the king of universe earth rules won't matter anymore". Before Rito could oppose, Lala pushes Rito towards Haruna so he could confess to her too. Oshizu accidentally rips Haruna's swimsuit, making her run away before Rito confesses to her. His confession is instead accidentally directed to Nana, Yui, Ryouko, and Run, inspiring Lala to happily suggest that Rito should marry all the girls and then they can all stay together.

To Love-Ru Darkness (2012 TV series)

The story begins with Rito rudely awakened by each Deviluke alien. Rito explains his routine life and is most concerned with Momo due to her deceptive intents. As Rito arrives at school, he meets Haruna. Lala tries to encourage Rito to confess to her, but Rito pushes Lala to a corner and explains to her the situation is complicated as people are legally allowed to marry one person. Out from nowhere, Celine clings onto Rito. Momo and Nana surprise everyone that they have enrolled in their school. Now students, Momo winks at Rito, reminding him of the conversation last night in the bathtub. Momo overheard Rito's concern about marrying multiple girls and explained to Rito that many girls love him and marrying them all would make everyone happy. As the future king of Deviluke, he can have many concubines. Momo vows to create a harem for Rito. During class, Momo becomes popular among the boys while Nana greets a mysterious girl looking out the window. Nana impresses her with her ability to understand animals. The girl introduces herself as Mea. Later, Momo finds Yami at a bench. As Yami is an obstacle to her harem plan, Momo tries to secretly enlist Yami in her harem plan by convincing her to enroll. The conversation gets cut short when Rito runs in panic stating that the other boys suddenly went violent. The other boys arrive on the scene and attack Yami, forcing her to use her weapons. After Yami and Momo restrain the boys, Yami hears a mysterious voice reminding her that she's an assassin assigned to kill Rito.
2	"Doubt and Dish" (Japanese: Doubt and dish～疑惑と料理～)	October 13, 2012 (2012-10-13)
Mea speaks with the mysterious voice about her day. The voice reminds Mea about her job; killing Rito and reverting Yami back to an assassin. Meanwhile, Momo warns the dangers of Yami to Rito and convinces him that Yami may change back and kill him anytime. Next, Momo is surprised to see Mikan invite Yami over for cooking lessons. Nana also comments about making a new friend to Lala. During the dinner service, Rito freaks out over Yami's Taiyaki soup and thinks she may have set a trap. He nearly vomits and asks to go shopping. During bedtime, Rito finds Momo in his bed. Momo warned Rito earlier that she must protect Rito to allow the harem plan to progress. Yami may kill Rito in his sleep. As Rito tries to sleep, Momo caresses him every way, forcing Rito to shove her aside. As Rito later takes a drink, Yami asks Rito for a talk. Yami explains about her cooking lessons and compares it to her attacks. Momo mistakes it for an assault and jumps down to defend Rito. However Yami only wanted to know if Rito enjoyed her Taiyaki soup. The next day, Yami also becomes enrolled. Mea finds Yami and explains how she is Yami's sister with similar abilities. During class, Yami does not get along with other students and blocks people from befriending her. Momo offers to help but get rejected too. Meanwhile, Mea asks Nana about Rito. Nana simply replies, "He's a beast." Her rambling comments about Rito only interests Mea, who then goes to find Rito herself. Momo then talks to Ryouko, who loved Yami being enrolled. She tells Momo how Yami's lifestyle has been only fighting. While Yami is sitting on a bench wondering about her feelings, Yui approaches Yami and tells her that not understanding their own feelings is normal, and she too does not understand her own feelings. Then Nana asks Yami if she's seen Mea. While Rito is asleep on the roof Mea climbs on top of Rito and whispers how she'll be able to know what he's truly like once they are "joined together".
3	"Each Speculation" (Japanese: Each speculation ～それぞれの思惑～)	October 20, 2012 (2012-10-20)
Rito wakes up in his dream and finds himself inside his bathroom with Mea. Mea tests Rito's beast-like moves and asks Rito if he experienced something similar. She reads Rito's mind about Momo and her harem plan. Back in reality, Yami cuts Mea off from reading Rito's mind and warns her to not bother Rito. Mea walks off and learns about the harem plan and how she and Momo are competing for Yami. Later, Nana introduces Mea to Lala and friends. Rito sees Mea and realizes her from the dream earlier. As Mea speaks obscenity to Rito, Momo considers adding Mea into her harem plan. Afterschool, Rito spots Yui and offers to walk home together since Mikan is cleaning up Saibai's studio and Momo and Nana are with Lala at an important event. Yui is first skeptical but accepts. Momo secretly escapes from the event, a Magical Kyoko Costume Show, and observes Rito walking home with Yui. She finds this a perfect opportunity to advance her harem plan and devises a way to lure Rito and Yui into Rito's house. She first uses the principal to chase them toward Rito's home and simulates rain to get both of them inside. Inside, Momo surrounds the home with a barrier and creates a romantic scenery by simulating rain and a blackout. Rito accidentally falls onto Yui, giving Momo signs that her romantic scenery is working. She panics when she finds Mikan and the others trying to get inside during the romance. Then, Mea shoots a laser beam and destroys the barrier, breaking Momo's scenery and exposing Rito and Yui to everyone. Lala tells Rito there was no rain today and Mikan sees Momo's tail, adding to her suspicions about Momo. Meanwhile, Mea tells master, the mysterious voice, she was only messing with Momo's harem plan.
4	"True Smile ~Peace and Anxiety~" (Japanese: True smile ～過去と友達と笑顔と～)	October 27, 2012 (2012-10-27)
A mysterious assassin named Azenda arrives to earth seeking revenge with Yami. Mea questions her regarding Yami, but master believes Azenda could help revert Yami into an assassin and kill Rito. Meanwhile, Mikan wakes up to find Celine missing. She hears moaning noises through Rito's room and blasts into his room only to find him playing a game with Momo and Celine. Momo tries to reassure Mikan that she's only supporting Lala's love, but Mikan does not believe it. In the shower, Momo wonders who destroyed her barrier and relates it to fact that someone is targeting Rito and Yami. After another disastrous day at school involving Oshizu using her telekinetic powers on Haruna, Yami feels lonely and visits Mikan. As they both eat Taiyaki, Yami hears Mikan express her concerns about Momo. Mikan gives Yami a Taiyaki keychain and shows her pair to symbolize their friendship. Yami happily accepts. The following night, Rito finds Yami. Rito is happy that she talked to Mikan as Mikan usually feels depressed. Yami feels strange about happiness per Mea's words. Rito assures Yami that she should do what she wants. Suddenly, Azenda appears and confronts Yami. Having observed Yami earlier, she uses Mikan as a marionette to defend herself and attack Yami. Being friends, Yami chooses not to attack, allowing Azenda to easily defeat Yami. Next, Mikan tackles Yami and does obscene gestures, setting them in perfect position for Azenda to kill them both. Azenda rambles about how she lost her pride after Yami defeated her and uses this chance to get even. Rito tries to stop Azenda explaining that Yami and Mikan do not deserve this, but Azenda chooses to kill Rito instead. At the finale, Momo intercepts with her plant monsters and defeats Azenda. Mea sees the fight from a distance and is unsatisfied that Yami did not attack Azenda.
5	"A Man? Woman ~The Changing Ones~" (Japanese: A man? Woman ～変わり行くもの達～)	November 3, 2012 (2012-11-03)
During swimming class, Mea feels dejected about the Azenda fight. Earlier, she tried to convince Yami to revert to a weapon but Yami rejects and explains that there is more in life than fighting. On the other side, Yami talks to Momo regarding Mea's stubbornness about living as a weapon and how she was like her before. Nana finds Mea depressed and looks for ways to cheer her up by asking Rito for advice. Rito suggests to do something fun with Mea, giving Nana an idea. Afterschool, Nana grabs Mea to the riverside where she has an event prepared. At first, Maron hops onto Mea and licks her. Seeing Mea enjoying Maron, Nana adds more fun by bringing out more animals. The animals and Maron become jealous over licking and fight to lick Mea. Haruna, and Rito become caught in fray as well when an octopus and a squid appear. Nana tries to reclaim her De-Dial after a monkey steals it, but the monkey leads her in front of a moving truck. Mea sees Nana in danger and tries to rescue Nana by attacking the driver. However, Yami and Lala stop the truck in time. Nana apologizes over the incident, but Mea thanks Nana for the fun and Lala concludes the operation as successful. The next day, Mea hears the principal talking about his Run poster and asks who Run is. Haruna and Nana explain to Mea that Run is an alien who can switch genders. Lala jumps in and demonstrates that Rito could change genders too. Now Riko, she tells Lala to turn her back but the machine fails, forcing them to leave early. Mikan returns and is shocked to find Riko dressed up as a maid. She is more disgusted to find Mea licking Riko. Riko offers Mea tea, but Mea overloads it with sugar cubes and feeds some to Celine, making Celine spit it out at Riko. Now sticky, Riko tries to change out of the outfit but is uncomfortable with looking at her body. Momo sneaks in and thinks that Rito/Riko may be admiring the wonders of a female body.
6	"Metamorphose ~Time for a Change...~" (Japanese: Metamorphose ～変わり行く時…～)	November 10, 2012 (2012-11-10)
Momo offers to show her body to Riko. Riko sidetracks by asking where Mea went. Momo replies, "She left." As Momo questions Mea's intentions, she shows Rito the secrets of a female's body by touching her private parts. Mea sneaks in and witnesses Momo's deceptions. Using the memory she got from Rito before, Mea forces Momo to let her in regarding the harem plan. Momo reluctantly accepts, hoping that Mea can get master to come out. Mea and Momo lick Rito until Riko changes back. Mikan enters the room and is shocked to find Mea and Momo along with a naked Rito. Mea exposes Momo's cover-up, making Mikan scold at all three of them and kick Mea and Momo out of Rito's room. Run stops by Rito's house and wants to ask Rito for advice, but Rito is seemingly occupied at the time. Momo quickly fixes a meet up with Rito, hoping to advance her harem plan. During the meet up, Momo and the others spy on Rito. Mea wants to see kissing while Nana wants to keep Rito from naughty acts. In the cafe, Run asks Rito his opinion about her manager forbidding relationships. Rito tells her not to stress herself, inspiring Run. He causes chaos with Saki, Aya, and Rin, prompting them to escape. Outside, Rito and Run talk about Memoruzians and their ability to change genders. Momo suspects that Rito may be making progress. Run cries admitting that she loves Rito but could not compete with Lala due to her ability to become Ren, therefore making her not completely female. Her idol career also makes it difficult to meet with Rito. Next, Run feels ill; Rito brings her to nearby bench. Momo and the others catch up with Momo thinking that Rito may be making sexual encounters. Enraged, Nana jumps out to attack Rito only to find Yui stopping Rito too. Suddenly, to everyone's surprise, Run glows and splits from Ren, becoming two bodies. Yami explains from the encyclopedia that Memoruzians split into two different bodies when they reach adulthood using a process called "metamorphosis". Momo finds this outcome rewarding as the Run-Ren transition is no longer an obstacle to her harem plan.
7	"Sisters ~The Invention of Happiness~" (Japanese: Sisters ～幸せの発明品～)	November 17, 2012 (2012-11-17)
As Lala fixes up Nana's De-Dial, Momo tells to Nana grow up while looking at her chest, infuriating Nana. Lala brings out an item that grows Nana's breasts, but it only works for a few seconds and shrinks Momo's breasts. Momo sarcastically admits that she understood Nana's feeling. Later in Mikado-sensei's office, Rito and friends discuss about Lala's inventions and Oshizu asks about Lala's childhood. Momo recalls the frequent incidents with Lala's inventions; whenever she was fighting with Nana, Lala's inventions ran wild and they both cleaned up Lala's mess. At lunch, Rito and friends visit Mea's apartment. The apartment is empty and Mea notes that she lives alone. Nana finds it strange knowing that Yami is her sister while Momo was hoping to collect more details about master. In the follow-up meeting with Mikado-sensei and Oshizu, Momo expresses concerns about Mea and how she may be hiding her true heart. Yami notes that their hearts are incomparable with a human's heart because she and Mea are both weapons. Rito invalidates Yami's claim and relates the sibling analogy to Mikan. The meeting is cut short when a dog clings onto Oshizu, making her rip Yami's clothes, causing Yami to chase after Rito. Afterschool, Ren gives Rito Run's CD and explains about Lala's pure sweet child personality. Rito considers it as he thinks about Momo's harem plan. Later at night, Mikan asks Rito to call Lala and her sisters down for dinner. Rito enters Lala's room and finds her fixing an invention. Rito asks Lala when she started making inventions; Lala replies that it naturally came to her whenever she got bored. Momo hears Rito in Lala's room and thinks Lala is about to kiss Rito, but rejects the theory. She and Nana listen on. Rito asks Lala about her incidents; Peke replies that they were incentives to reunite Momo and Nana. Remembering what Ren said, Rito panics as he looks at Lala and activates an invention which wraps around Lala and exposes her privates and proceeds to tie both of them up. Momo and Nana discuss how much Lala cared for them.
8	"Bad Mood ~Bonds of Happiness~" (Japanese: Bad mood ～幸せの絆～)	December 1, 2012 (2012-12-01)
Mikan feels misplaced after seeing Rito become closer to Momo. She goes shopping and almost passes out on the way home due to the intense sun. Momo runs to save her but Kujou Rin grabs her and offers to take her to her place. Mikan feels the need to vent and starts telling Rin about how she feels misplaced. While Rin expresses negative thoughts about Rito, Mikan explains that despite his perverted actions, Rito is a really great guy. She also tells Rin about how everything seems to have changed since Momo's arrival. Although Mikan appreciates Momo helping around the house with chores, but Mikan feels she is no longer needed. Rin tells Mikan that no matter what Momo does, if Rito is how Mikan describes him, he would not want Mikan to leave. During the conversation, Momo eavesdrops from the rooftop. Meanwhile, Yui keeps wondering about her crush for Rito as she goes for a walk. Haruna finds Yui and asks Yui to join her. Haruna takes Yui to the cosplay cafe with Risa and Mio. Risa tells them about the time where she went on a date with Rito. She starts bragging about the how she had slept with Rito. Haruna rapidily blushes over Risa's sexual claims, but Yui refutes these statements, explaining that Rito is not like the other boys despite his perverted actions. She knows he does not do them on purpose. As they head home, Yui stops and understands she is shameless herself since she can not stop thinking about being with Rito; she even imagines herself pregnant with Rito's child. At the bridge on the way home, Mikan sees Momo who offers to take her home for the rest of the way. Mikan understood that Momo was eavesdropping the entire conversation earlier; she does not yell at her though. Momo tells Mikan how she envies her since Rito has been with Mikan much longer than her. Momo remembers how Rito told her Mikan is his "one and only, dear little sister" and how he considers her more than that. Momo also expresses her feelings for Rito to Mikan. Before they could continue, Rito appears running and screaming as he was very concerned about Mikan. Mikan pretends not to care but feels happier on the inside knowing that her brother cares for her.
9	"True Self ~True Face in the Darkness~" (Japanese: True Self ～闇の中の素顔～)	December 8, 2012 (2012-12-08)
The episode begins with Rito thanking Rin for taking care of Mikan. Later, due to one of Lala's inventions, Rito and Yami become stuck to each other by the hand, Yami immediately tries to cut Rito's hand but Momo explains the effects will wear out eventually. Yami goes to buy food with Rito and makes it clear she does not want him touching her inappropriately over her food. While she is buying taiyaki, Rito gets embarrassed when the seller thinks they are a couple. They sit on a bench where Rito invites Yami over for dinner at his house which she accepts. Back home, Rito helps Yami cook dinner. Nana thinks of feeding Rito because he can only use one hand but quickly blushes and forgets about it. Lala apologizes that her invention caused this mess and Mikan lets Yami stay as long she needs to. Next, Yami has to shower. Nana steps in despite Momo's demands, saying that she prevent Rito from doing anything perverted. In the shower, Rito is blindfolded while Nana washes Yami's back. Everything turns around when Rito's blindfold slips off, resulting in a beating. During bedtime, Yami and Rito must sleep together. As they are alone, Yami tells Rito how she never sleeps anymore and wants to talk about the past with him. While this happens, Oshizu goes for a walk when she encounters Mea. She follows Mea and wants to understand more about Mea. Oshizu leaves her body and enters Mea's mind. She first finds sweets and Rito licking her. As she goes deeper, she sees memories of Mea's past. Mea asked for information about Yami and hears her talking to someone who she calls "Master". Oshizu tries to find out about Master but is suddenly kicked out by Mea herself as she detected Oshizu's presence. The darkness power inside Mea nearly swallows up Oshizu until Oshizu returns to her original body. Mea approached Oshizu and tells her that she could have died if she stayed in there longer. Oshizu, terrified, asks Mea "Who are you".
10	"Past ~Memories Leading to Tomorrow~" (Japanese: Past ～明日につながる記憶～)	December 15, 2012 (2012-12-15)
Yami starts telling Rito about her past, explaining how she was created by a woman named Tearju Lunatique using her own cells, therefore Yami is effectively a clone Tearju and sees her as her mother. However, Tearju was taken away from Yami by the association that had asked to create Yami. They forced Yami to follow the path of darkness and trained her to be a weapon. She doesn't know what happened to Tearju and also notes that the society was destroyed when the Devilukes unified the universe. Rito demands revenge, which confuses Yami given that Rito is her target. Yet somehow, Yami feels safe with Rito as she leans towards him. During the conversation, Momo tries to spy on Yami, but is caught by Mikan. Momo convinces Mikan the necessity to spy on them claiming that Rito may do inappropriate acts with Yami in his sleep. Mikan reluctantly tags along, but stops and grabs Momo's tail, making Momo scream for help. The effects of Lala's invention soon wears off. Rito praises about being detached from Yami, but Yami feels insulted and knocks him down. She snuggles close to him for the rest of the night. The next day in school, everyone is Rito's class is surprised to see a new assistant who Rito recognizes as Tearju. While Lala and friends discuss Tearju, Oshizu asks Rito to come with her. Mikado tells Rito she and Oshizu brought Tearju to earth during her investigation. She found a photo of Tearju and was able to trace her whereabouts. Meanwhile, Momo tells Yami to meet Tearju but Yami does not respond. Rito finds Tearju in the hallway and asks her to meet Yami. Tearju hesitates, blaming herself for abandoning Yami. The principal starts chasing after Tearju, making both of them run. Lala finds Rito and Tearju running and offers them help. She teleports them behind the bushes partly naked. Yami, sitting on a nearby bench, knocks out Rito, catching Tearju's attention. Tearju looks at Yami and calls her "Eve".
11	"The Right Thing ~What is a Way of Life?~" (Japanese: The Right Thing ～生き方って何?～)	December 22, 2012 (2012-12-22)
Tearju tries to talk to Yami and apologizes for abandoning her. She tried to escape with Yami when the organization tried to eliminate her, but the plan was foiled and Yami was taken away. She hid her identity until the organization was destroyed. Yami refuses to let her life as "Golden Darkness" go and walks off making Momo concerned about Yami's honesty. Ryouko finds the situation normal as they have not met each other for a long time. Meanwhile, Nana tells Mea about a new assistant in Lala's class triggering Mea's instincts after master told her about Tearju being one of their main enemies. Nana questions Mea's reaction and seeks Haruna and Lala for help, thinking Mea is still hiding a secret. They all help cheer Mea up by remodeling her apartment. Haruna picks the design while Lala helps Nana obtain financing from their father. Meanwhile, Momo and Rito ask Tearju about Mea and master. Tearju is unsure but knows that the organization wanted to mass produce transform weapons. Momo gives Tearju self-defense seeds to protect her from master. The seeds will trap the enemy and call Momo for help. Afterschool, Mea finds Tearju alone and breaks in wanting to talk to Tearju. Oshizu spots Mea and strips Mea's clothing, warning Tearju that Mea is dangerous based on her previous analysis. However, Mea is not afraid of being stripped and quickly escapes and regenerates her clothes. Tearju trips and activates the seeds, tying Oshizu and her up and calling Momo for help. When Rito and Momo arrive, they see Mea's true identity. Mea only follows orders from Nemesis, her master. Tearju explains that Nemesis was created from a project parallel to Yami and her and was originally frozen. Mea remembers how Nemesis courted her shortly after she was born. Nemesis trained her to become a transform weapon and told her about Yami being her sister. Tearju and Momo convince Mea to change her lifestyle, but Mea leaves with the note that she will remain loyal to her master Nemesis.
12	"Room ~A Maiden's Feelings~" (Japanese: Room ～乙女の想い～)	December 29, 2012 (2012-12-29)
Momo plays through several dating sims and takes notes hoping to aid her harem plan. As Momo completes another pathway, she wonders how she can use these concepts to solve the main issue: Rito. Momo wonders when she fell in love with Rito and remembers how Rito shared many interests with her such as plants. As Momo thinks of Rito more, she slowly starts to fondle her tail until Nana walks in. Momo's romantic fantasies of Rito continue throughout school. At school, a group of boys who share a love interest with Momo form a fanclub titled "Venus Momo Club". As members, the club will dedicate themselves into helping Momo out. At first, Momo appreciates the help such as accepting all her duties, cleaning her furniture, and acting as bodyguards but as time goes on, the club distances Momo from Rito more, making her unable to spend time with Rito. Momo sees Lala spending personal time with Rito and Rito making accidental gestures with other girls, making her feel left out. Momo's depression reaches the critical point and devises a way to spend personal time with Rito. During P.E., Momo cuts class and wanders off. Momo's club waits outside the locker room for Momo and learns about her biggest threat: Rito. Because Rito is frequently discussed by the morals committee and Momo lives with him, Momo will not be safe from Rito. Later, Rito receives a message from Momo to meet her in the storage shed. When Rito enters the storage shed, Momo locks the door and tackles him. She feels aroused over Rito and asks Rito how he feels being alone. Momo deeply caresses him and daydreams of Rito becoming sexually active with her. Momo continues to seduce Rito until Momo's club finds out, thanks to Mea tipping them off. The club attacks Rito for kidnapping Momo, but Momo becomes very angry and forces the club to apologize to Rito. In the end, Momo blames Mea for ruining the moment and wonders how she can win Rito's heart. Rito also cannot understand Momo's true intentions.

To Love-Ru Darkness (2012–2015 OVA series)

Directed by Atsushi Ootsuki, the To Love-Ru Darkness OVAs takes place after Motto. The first OVA episode serves as the pilot for the Darkness series while the subsequent OVA episodes consist of side stories between To Love-Ru Darkness and To Love-Ru Darkness 2nd.

Momo tries to get Rito’s attention by changing her hair style, but has little success. Momo then learns from Lala that Rito loves both Lala and Haruna, and since he will become king of Deviluke he can marry both girls, and return both of their love. Inspired, Momo begins a plan to eliminate Rito’s indecisive nature and create a harem for him, so that Momo and the other girls who love Rito can have their love for him be fulfilled. A drunken Celine sprays Mikan with pollen, causing Mikan to develop romantic feelings towards Rito. As she waits for the effects to wear off, Momo learns of her plight and “helps” by leaving her alone with Rito. Mikan succumbs to the effect of the pollen and nearly kisses him, but manages to regain her senses at the last minute. Momo decides Mikan is not yet ready to accept her own feelings, but promises she will include Mikan in the harem. Thanks to one of Lala’s inventions, Haruna is turned into a cat and wanders the streets contemplating what to do. Remembering that Nana can speak to animals, she goes to find her, but runs into Rito. Circumstances then force Rito to give Haruna a bath, which becomes too much stimulation for her, causing Haruna to revert to normal, albeit naked and on top of an also naked and unconscious Rito. An embarrassed Haruna is then left to explain the situation to a confused Mikan.
2	"Nostalgia ~Back then, At That Place~"	December 2, 2012 (2012-12-02)
Yui Kotegawa is going to look at cats on the pet store as usual when she finds Rito on the way, they encounter the skunk of youth who broke free from Run's house. Rito tries to grab it but scares it and him and Yui end up turning young again. Eventually, all of Rito's friends are turned into kids. Rito eventually was able to catch the skunk from a high wall where he almost fell but was saved by Yami. The skunk was then put into Nana's Phone where it won't disturb anymore. Back in school, Yui asks Rito if he used to play around a temple she walked by and he confirmed, she then remembered he was the kid who saved a kitten that was stuck in a tree when she was young. Nana enters Rito's room wanting to talk to him, she asks him if he likes big breast girls. He blushes and starts imagining big breasts, Nana seems upset but Rito replies to her saying it's not the breast size that matters and Nana even not having big breasts has her own unique appeal. Nana removes her shirt and gets on top of Rito asking him if he sees her as a woman. Rito desperately tries to get away but grabs her breast, she doesn't slap him and leans to kiss him. Momo bursts out of the closet to stop them. Momo and Nana had switched minds with one of Lala's inventions and Momo was the one in Nana's body. They walk away with Nana (now in her body) blushing and thinking about what she heard Rito say. Rito finds Celine playing with some flowers he's never seen. He smells a pot that has purple flowers and then walks away. Momo finds Celine and explained how those were her flowers and no one should smell them because they can have side effects, Celine told Momo Rito had smelled the purple flowers and she was really worried since those flowers change one's personality. Rito demands Lala to give him her see through glasses and asks her to pose for him. Excited, Rito starts asking for more breasts and runs to school where he looks at each and every girl and even looks closely at Yui's privates. Momo finds Rito and heals him before anything worse happened. Rito falls unconscious on the floor from all the things he saw.
3	"Exchange ~Me and I~"	August 19, 2013 (2013-08-19)
The episode starts with all of Lala's inventions scattered across a table. Lala is called to help Tearju Lunatique with the copier. Rito and Haruna accidentally change bodies when they catch one of Lala's inventions falling off the table. Momo explains that they have to use each other's bodies for seven hours. Rito in Haruna's body gets splattered with mayonnaise when Haruna in Rito's body steps on a bottle of mayonnaise. The real Haruna has to then give her body a shower. However, the timer countdown finishes during this time, leaving Rito touching Haruna. Celine finds one of Lala's inventions, but because it seems to be broken, Momo lets her play with it. However, it fires a dart that lets Celine massage Tearju Lunatique, causing problems for her as it makes her feel as if someone is playing with her body. When Rito sees Tearju limping, he thinks she might be ill, so offers to take her to the sickroom. Celine uses the machine to violently caress her on the way, making her fall on top of Rito. Yami sees them and thinks that Rito is being "ecchi" to Tearju, so tries to kill him. The device is later revealed to be an invention to massage yourself. Lala gives it to Honekawa because he has terrible back pain.
4	"Girl of Blaze ~Magical Kyouko - Flame~"	December 4, 2013 (2013-12-04)
Run messages Rito about starring in an upcoming Magical Kyouko episode and wants Rito to watch it. During the taping, Run puts all of her heart into her acting for Rito which causes her costume to fall off. Kirisaki covers up by going ad libitum to Run. After the taping and a few incidents, Kirisaki tells Run that she understands her intent and advises her to concentrate. During broadcasting, Lala enjoys the show while Rito and Momo are shocked to see the principal sneaking onto the set for Run and Kirisaki. Kirisaki arrives at Sainan High School to give a lecture about working as an idol. After the event, Tearju asks Rito to guide Kirisaki around the school which Rito reluctantly agrees to. Rito does not know Kirisaki's main purpose was to observe Rito for a day. As Rito guides Kirisaki through the hallways, he gets unwanted stares from other jealous students. They both come across the principal who initially acts docile but suddenly runs after Kirisaki, making the morals committee discipline him. Afterwards, Morenitsu asks Kirisaki for her autograph and draws the attention of many male students, creating a large crowd around Kirisaki. Rito rescues Kirisaki from suffocation and tries to escape from the other male students. Lala senses danger and uses her invention to teleport them into a locker partly naked. Momo helps recover their clothes, but Kirisaki runs home in embarrassment. The next day, Run tells Kirisaki that she experienced similar events in the past. The memories of Rito carrying Kirisaki come into Kirisaki's mind, but Kirisaki quickly brushes it off. An animal with wriggly arms approaches Mikan and Yami. Yami prepares to attack until Nana identifies the animal as Meda-Q. Meda-Q has interest in Yami and wants to cling to her. As Yami gives in, she shows signs of fear. Later, when Rito brings home taiyaki for Mikan and Meda-Q eats it, Meda-Q goes berserk and quickly overpowers Yami. Afterwards, everyone question Yami's fear of wriggly animals, but Yami declines to explain. Azenda, who learns about Yami's weakness, tries to exploit it but get instantly defeated by Yami.
5	"Suddenly ~Imagination and Reality~"	December 4, 2014 (2014-12-04)
Mikan gets a surprise visit from her classmates, Sachie Kogure and Mami Nogiwa, who are interested in meeting her brother Rito. Mikan is not optimistic about their visit given Rito's frequent accidents with him falling over and groping one of the girls. The situation gets worse when Rito and later the Deviluke sisters greets Mikan's classmates, making Mikan panic. Despite a near accident with Rito slipping on a remote control, the day appears to end well with both of them leaving peacefully until Mikan slips on a shoe and fall on top of Rito right when one of her classmates returns to retrieve her manga. Meanwhile, Momo makes a note of Mikan's classmates. Lala accidentally steps on Rito's cellphone. He fears he will have to buy another phone but Lala offers to fix Rito's phone. Rito accepts. Lala hands Rito an improved model of his phone and has him try it out on Yui who Rito wanted to call to thank for lending a book to Celine. When Rito calls Yui on his new phone, his voice on the receiving end stimulates Yui's senses, bringing her down to her knees. She feels as if Rito's voice is physically molesting her body. As Rito talks about the book, the stimulation on Yui gets worse eventually making her unresponsive. Rito, clueless about the situation, thinks the phone is still broken. Momo offers Rito to try the phone on her and quickly passes out when she hears Rito's voice, revealing the real problem with Rito's improved phone. On the night of the full moon, Rito panics when he finds a naked girl on the rooftop while watering plants and quickly barges into Mikan. Mikan identifies the girl as Celine in her adult form. Everyone is surprised at Celine's rapid growth given that she did nothing unusual previously. Mikan feels a little sad about losing Celine but Rito assures Mikan that Celine is still present. Wanting to celebrate, Celine asks to sleep with Rito and Mikan for the night. As they all go to bed, Momo, who does not understand Celine's species completely, wonders how the full moon could have affected her growth. The next morning, Celine has reverted to her baby form.
6	"Photography ~Take That Awesome Picture!~,"	April 3, 2015 (2015-04-03)
Run invites Rito to her room and wants him to take pictures of her wearing a swimsuit with her new camera. She is hoping that the photoshoot will seduce Rito into liking her. As Rito starts the camera, the camera takes control of Rito's body. Rito takes pictures of Run in strange poses but then goes overboard by zooming in and attempting to take more erotic shots of Run. Eventually, the camera explodes and injures Rito's face. Run finds out in the manual that the camera can overheat and explode when the user gets too excited. Risa finds Momo shopping for lingerie and asks her out on a date. Momo accepts, hoping that she can learn more about Risa and aid her harem plan. During the date, Momo and Risa discuss about boyfriends. Risa wishes she had a boyfriend like Rito and is envious of Momo's having a club of boys at school. After an incident involving the principal, Run, and Kyouko, Risa invites Momo to her place to clean up and uses the opportunity to thoroughly molest Momo. Momo quickly escapes and returns home, confused and frustrated about Risa. While Haruna is thinking about the fortune advice to her, 'cooking for someone you love leads to luck', she finds Rito looking for a cookbook. He wants to make an omelette to express gratitude for Mikan. Haruna learns that Rito cannot cook and offers to teach him, taking advantage of the fortune. In the middle of Rito's lessons, Haruna reveals that she enjoys cooking and wanted to take cooking classes but switched to tennis after being inspired by Rito's athletic ability. Although Rito ends up making a poor quality omelette, Mikan enjoys it because it has Rito's feelings all over it.

Lala also encourages Haruna to confess to Rito. In the afternoon, Haruna, fresh from tennis practice, finds Nana at school for her remedial classes. They sit together and have a chat; Nana also shares a Deviluke sports drink with Haruna. Momo, waiting for Rito to finish his remedial classes, joins them. She asks Haruna about her progress with Rito in which Haruna admits she needs help. She loves Rito but does not want to jeopardize her friendship with Lala as she loves Rito too. By Earth's tradition, Rito can only marry one woman. Momo tries to convince Haruna that polygamy is common in the universe and that Earth is simply outdated. As Nana argues with Momo about polygamy, Haruna suddenly begins to act strange. Rito arrives and informs Momo and Nana that the Deviluke drink earlier has made Haruna drunk. Momo, attempting to advance her harem plan, asks Rito to escort Haruna home. Rito accepts and avoids detection from the principal. At Haruna's apartment, Haruna, still drunk, seduces Rito and mentions Momo's harem plan. Haruna asks Rito about his feelings for the harem plan but Haruna sobers up. Akiho also arrives home and greets Haruna in an embarrassing situation. Rito quickly leaves. While Akiho continuously apologizes to Haruna, Momo finds Rito and asks him about his day with Haruna. Meanwhile, Mea is asking for Nemesis's whereabouts.

Rito finds Momo in his bed again. Momo reminds Rito about her harem plan and advises him to be careful of Mea. Meanwhile, Mea is worried that Nemesis is not responding to her as she always relies on her master for directions. She tries to hide her concerns from Nana who is inviting her to a bakery. Elsewhere, Tearju thanks Rito for helping her and asks him if Momo has new information about Mea. Momo is more concerned about Yami skipping classes. Tearju understands Yami's motives about staying away from her and wishes to see her and Mikan, Yami's friend. As Rito thinks about the friendship, Lala bumps into him and accidentally drops an invention. Rito activates it turning him into a mouse. Being small, Rito can easily see girl's underwear, making him uncomfortable. He desperately searches for Lala but his small size makes him vulnerable to being stepped on. He eventually lands under Yami's clothing. Rito manages to escape with her underwear but passes out. Mea finds Rito and remembers Nemesis's words about weak people being weeded out. She helps Rito anyways and Rito recovers in time for a beating from Yami. As Yami leaves, Mea asks Yami about feelings and how Nemesis never taught her this subject. Yami tells Mea to discover it herself. Afterschool, Rito finds Mea on the roof in her battle clothes and asks about her motives. He tries to convince Mea not to rely solely on her master Nemesis but it enrages her. Mea seduces Rito with her Psycho Dive ability but alien enemies also approach and attack Mea, leading Rito and Mea on a wild rampage. During the fight, Mea realizes that Nemesis is reminding her that she is a weapon. Nana also spots Mea in her weapon form.
3	"After a storm comes a calm～Friends～" (Japanese: After a storm comes a calm～ともだち～)	July 21, 2015 (2015-07-21)
Nana is heartbroken as she remembers Mea's true form as a weapon. Mea notes that she was following her master's orders to disguise as a human. She also requests a breakup of their friendship because weapons and humans can never be together. Later at night, Momo informs Rito that Nana has shut herself in her room. Momo also blames herself for not intervening given that she was already suspicious of Mea. Rito assures Momo by talking to Nana himself. He finds Nana inside a virtual space filled with her animal friends. Nana tells Rito how she wanted to help Mea as Mea was always alone. Despite her efforts, Nana feels that Mea never saw her as a friend and was only playing with her. Rito hugs Nana and assures that she can still make up. The Psycho Dive ability showed Rito Mea's fears and loneliness of being a weapon. Feeling confident, Nana seeks Mea. As for Mea, she is sitting near a river trying to justify her actions. She reminds herself that she is a weapon and only befriended Nana to bring Yami out. Nana finds Mea and confronts her. Mea, fixated on her identity, keeps Nana away by attacking her. Momo tries to intervene but Rito stops her. Nana dodges Mea's attacks until Mea activates her Psycho Dive. With the ability, Mea finds out that Nana consulted with Rito. Mea tries to explain to Nana in detail why they cannot be together but Nana refutes, stating that regardless of her identity, only the feelings matter. Mea is unsure about Nana's words but accepts her request to be friends again. Yami, who happened to be dealing with the alien assassins targeting Mea, arrives. Mea thanks Yami and admits she partially understands Yami's words on emotions and feelings. At night, Nana can't sleep and she remembers how warm Rito's hug was and decides to sneak into bed with him, but as usual, Momo was already there and Rito gets beat up by Nana.
4	"Summer festival～Beginning of the Festival～" (Japanese: Summer festival～祭りの始まり～)	July 28, 2015 (2015-07-28)
Mikan invites Yami to the festival in which Yami accepts. At the festival, Rito follows Momo and Nana. Nana is uncomfortable with Rito looking at her cotton candy and gives him a bite. Momo notes that Nana is conscious of Rito after the incident with Mea. Rito also notes how Mikan is helping Tearju with understanding and reuniting with Yami. With spare time before the fireworks viewing, Momo asks to spend time alone with Rito. Rito spots a kid with her mother and asks Momo about her mother. Momo replies that her mother is usually away with political work; however, Momo enjoys being with her sisters and Rito. She then admits that she loves Rito and wants to be with him but covers up before Rito hears her. Mikan suddenly appears and asks Rito and Momo for help. As they run, Rito bumps into Yami who attempts to attack him. Mikan asks Yami why she hasn't killed Rito and reveals that she is actually Nemesis, Mea's master. Nemesis materialized to ease everyone's suspicions about her. Rito makes gestures at Nemesis which interests her. She enjoys Rito's gestures and considers using it to her advantage. Yami then asks Nemesis about making her a weapon. Nemesis replies that despite Yami's peaceful life, her inevitable true form as a weapon named Darkness will surface. At the fireworks viewing, Rito and Momo share their thoughts on Nemesis with Tearju and Mikado. Mikado is surprised that Nemesis exists while Tearju remains suspicious about Nemesis. Mea notes that Nemesis wants her to experience life on Earth to understand Yami better. Momo then asks Tearju about Darkness but Tearju is unable to respond. However, Tearju assures that with everyone present, Yami should be fine.
5	"New Move～Two of a Kind?～" (Japanese: New move～似たものどうし？～)	August 4, 2015 (2015-08-04)
Rito tries to take one of Lala's inventions from Celine but Celine activates it and summons a naked Yui for Rito. The next day, Rito catches a train and finds Yui inside with an angry glare. She pulls Rito to a side protecting him from other women. Rito tries to talk to Yui by asking why she is here. Yui was delivering papers while Rito was shopping for novelty items. The train then becomes more crowded, squeezing Rito and Yui together and forcing Rito to grab Yui in weird places. One of Rito's items also molests Yui. At arrival, Rito finds one of his items running, angering Yui. Meanwhile, Mea asks Nemesis for feedback about her experience on Earth. Nemesis finds it too peaceful and is waiting for the Darkness form to activate. Mea then questions Nemesis about the Darkness form inside Yami but Nemesis declines to explain and assures Mea that time will come, making Mea upset. As for Yami, Mikan tells Yami not to be swayed by Nemesis. She also requests Yami to always seek her for help. On the way home, Mikan spots Mea while grocery shopping and finds her basket filled with sweets. She advises Mea to have a better diet and invites Mea for dinner. Mikan also hopes to learn more about Mea given that she is Yami's sister. At home, while Lala washes up Celine and gets her breasts sucked on, Mea asks to watch Mikan cook. Mea takes interest in cutting vegetables and volunteers. Mikan teaches Mea and remembers the same experience Yami had. When it is Mea's turn to cut, she feels a cutting sensation and cuts the vegetables wildly with her abilities, ripping everyone's clothes in the process. She stops just when Lala arrives. 6	"Manservant～Competition～" (Japanese: Manservant～争奪戦～)	August 11, 2015 (2015-08-11)
Rito, Mikan, and Momo are helping out with Saibai at his studio. As they leave, Saibai asks Mikan to stay behind and cook them dinner. Mikan is concerned about leaving Momo with Rito but endures it. On the way home, Momo hopes to seduce Rito with her visual novels but is stopped by Nemesis who is looking for entertainment by making Rito her servant. Rito agrees hoping to learn more about Nemesis and much to Momo's disappointment. Nemesis challenges Rito to many games and has him feed her, making Momo jealous. Nemesis soon understands the environment around Yami and Mea and compares herself to both of them. Rito tries to ask Nemesis more about Darkness, but Nemesis gives a vague response that Darkness will bring chaos, angering Momo. Later, Mikan rushes home fearing Momo; instead, she finds everyone enjoying dinner cooked by Momo. Momo then tries to sneak into Rito's bath but finds Nemesis already inside. Nemesis used her transform ability to seduce Rito and wants to take Rito from Momo. Momo tries to fight back but Nemesis uses her trump card by calling Mikan with Rito's voice. Mikan arrives and finds Momo with an unconscious Rito, resulting in a big scolding for Momo. The next day, Mikan, preventing Momo from bathing with Rito, sneaks into Rito's bath first. Rito is suspicious of Mikan and questions her. Mikan replies that the situation is normal because they're siblings. As they share the bathtub, Mikan asks Rito about his progress with other girls. Rito gives a lackluster reply. Mikan then mentions the harem making Rito panic and rise. He accidentally exposes his private parts to Mikan and escapes from the bath, bumping into Momo who is eavesdropping. Rito suspects that it was Momo's plan to get Mikan to take a bath with him.
7	"Resistance 〜I Know, But Still〜" (Japanese: Resistance 〜わかっているけど〜)	August 25, 2015 (2015-08-25)
Thanks to Lala's massage tool, Honekawa feels better and resumes his teaching duties. Tearju is reassigned to teach the class that Momo, Nana, and Mea are enrolled in. As she begins class, she feels depressed as she sees the empty desk. During break, Momo confirms to Rito that Tearju is her new teacher. Momo wants to reunite Yami with her and tried to invite Yami back to class; Yami denied it. Rito chooses to talk to Yami himself. As he looks for Yami, Mea finds him. Mea is interested in his bathing experience with Nemesis and uses her Psycho Dive to recreate it. When Rito mentions Yami, Mea reads Rito's recent thoughts and backs away, feeling anger with Tearju. Rito tells Mea to reconcile with Tearju but Mea leaves. As for Yami, she invites Mikan to the library with her. At the library, Mikan is impressed with the breadth of Yami's reading and tells Yami about her past from Tearju. Mikan also invites Yami back to school but memories of Nemesis float into Yami's mind, making her feel uneasy. The next day, Rito finds Yami in the library and asks Yami to return back to school. He also mentions Tearju's thoughts of them being a family but Yami refuses to accept because of her identity as a weapon. Yami also tells Rito to stay away from her family business but is confronted by Mea, a member of her family. Mea relates Yami's thought to how she always followed orders from Nemesis. After the fight with Nana, Mea learns that she can follow her own path. Per Rito, she tells Yami to reconcile with Tearju. Although the meeting is interrupted by a dog interfering with the eavesdroppers Oshizu and Momo, Yami accepts Mea's words and shows up in Tearju's class the next day in her school uniform. She thanks Mea as she takes her seat.
8	"Danger 〜Danger 〜" (Japanese: Danger 〜危・剣〜)	September 1, 2015 (2015-09-01)
Zastin tells a story about a cursed sword that turns its wielder into a killer seeking for blood. Next, Mikan receives a call from Rin inviting her over to Saki's place. All of Saki's servants are sick from her dinner and Rin needs people to fill in. Mikan has to cook for Saibai and Zastin and sends Rito instead, making Saki angry. Momo and her friends volunteer too. Rito quickly makes a negative impression by falling on top of Saki. During work, Mea talks about keeping her identity a secret while Momo observes Rito's interactions with Rin. Rito spots a shipment from Saki's father and offers to store it; Rin replies to leave it alone. Rito then comments about Rin's maid outfit leading to another incident; Rin sends Rito to the library. She later opens the shipment finding a red and purple sword. In the library, Momo asks Rito about Rin, but Rin breaks in with the red and purple sword asking for blood. Everyone notices Rin's chants and suspect that the sword is the cursed sword from Zastin's story. Yami notes that the sword is not cursed but a living weapon named "Bladix". Bladix uses its wielder to obtain his energy from blood. Yami, unable to free the sword, tries to destroy it but Mea stops her. Bladix is fused with Rin and if Yami destroyed it, Rin's mind would corrupt permanently. Rito then asks Mea to let him enter Rin's mind with Psycho Dive despite the risks; Mea accepts. Inside Rin, Bladix tries to control Rito. He succeeds but Rito shares his feelings of protecting family members to Rin's mind, allowing Rin and him to escape. After Mea forcefully frees Bladix from Rin, he searches for a new mind only to be defeated by Yami. Zastin, having received an emergency call earlier about the sword, arrives too late to help.
9	"Kiss 〜What Lies Beyond a Kiss〜" (Japanese: Kiss 〜キスの先にあるもの〜)	September 8, 2015 (2015-09-08)
Rin thanks Rito for saving her from Bladix despite Rito claiming that Yami was the one who saved her. Meanwhile, Lala is concerned with Haruna's progress with Rito. Peke understands Lala but is more worried about her fading relationship with Rito. Peke advises Lala to work on her relationship first. Lala proceeds and finds Rito being punished by Yami for groping Tearju. Lala asks Yami to forgive him in which she does, but Rito resumes his duty before Lala can speak to him. Momo also finds Nana lurking near Rito's classroom; Nana lies that she got lost and ended up here. As Nana leaves, Momo is happy but jealous that Rito notices Nana more than her. She then finds Lala consulting with Peke about Rito and joins in. Momo, knowing that Lala must be the wife for her harem plan to succeed, pushes Lala to advance her romance. On the way home, Momo observes Lala clinging onto Rito and finds it ineffective. She invites Lala to her room and teaches humanly love through her visual novel. Lala then teleports to Rito's bath and observes his manly body. Rito tries to escape, but Lala stops him and asks for a kiss as a sign of love. She tries to kiss Rito, but Rito slips and passes out underneath Lala. Later, Momo apologizes to Rito that she was behind all this. She showed Lala kissing and mentioned that it was the universal sign of love. Nana also finds Lala practicing kissing Rito on her doll and talks to her. The next day, Rito finds Lala and explains to her that he can't kiss her because their love has not advanced to that point. From her discussion with Nana, Lala accept Rito's feelings and kisses him on cheek, showing her feelings toward him. She hopes Rito can answer it some day. Momo, seeking help, decides to cooperate with Nana.
10	"True character 〜Identity Revealed!?〜" (Japanese: True character 〜正体バレた！？〜)	September 15, 2015 (2015-09-15)
Momo shares her secret harem plan with Nana. Nana, outraged, emphasizes that Rito already has Lala. However, Momo loves Rito too and the harem plan is the best solution. Nana walks down the hallway as she thinks about Momo's question regarding her feelings for Rito. Mea finds Nana depressed and talks to her. She knows about Momo's harem plan through Rito and finds it exciting. She shows Nana the benefits with her Psycho Dive but Nana stops it and questions her use of it at school. Mea doesn't mind since no one notices. Later, Nana finds Celine riding a vacuum robot made by Lala. Rito explains to Nana what happened earlier but Nana interrupts it with her firm disapproval of the harem plan. Meanwhile, Oshizu has been spying on Mea since morning and wonders if she can befriend her. As she approaches Mea, Mea teases Oshizu by disguising as Tearju and surprising her with a dog puppet, scaring Oshizu into releasing telekinetic powers. Oshizu then quits but Mea notes that she is one of the few people who knows her secret. Oshizu convinces Mea to stop hiding but Mea doesn't feel comfortable doing so. Suddenly, the vacuum robot goes berserk thanks to Oshizu's powers and sucks clothes everywhere it goes. Nana and Rito try to stop it as it zips through school. Oshizu asks Mea for help, but Mea fears revealing her identity and does nothing. In the end, Nana breaks the robot, unleashing a black hole. Oshizu tries to eradicate the black hole despite knowing that her lifespan will shorten from using too much power. However, Mea later admits blame for starting the mess and assists by using her charged shot. She ends up revealing her true identity but everyone applauds her instead. Yami also reveals that Mea is her little sister.
11	"The beginning of darkness 〜That Time〜" (Japanese: The beginning of darkness 〜その時〜)	September 22, 2015 (2015-09-22)
Yami wakes up to Luna the AI who asks about her change of heart. Yami replies that it's due to life at Sainan. Rito also wakes up to Momo. Momo is curious to see Rito's development towards her harem plan. She confirms that Rito is the perfect centerpiece because many girls have fallen for him. She also notes that Yami has gotten softer towards him. Rito questions Momo's theory as he sees Yami uneasy with Tearju. Momo and Rito then ask Ryouko about Yami. Ryouko notes that Yami cannot recall memories of her first visit in her office. Momo remembers Nemesis talking about Yami being unaware of her Darkness ability. Later, while Momo thinks about her harem plan, Rito speaks to Yami about problems with Tearju and hiding her past. Yami questions Rito's interest and tells him to back off. The meeting ends when he accidentally falls onto Yami and gets unwanted attention. Later at the pool, while students examine Tearju's revealing swimsuit, Mea talks to Yami as sisters. Yami thanks Mea for inspiring her to start a new peaceful life on Earth. As Mea and Tearju agree, Yami feels a jolt as her body glows. Suddenly, Yami's transformation goes berserk. Mea is confused until Nemesis tells her that Yami is transforming into her true form: Darkness. Nemesis also possess Mea and locks her away ensuring the inevitable rampage and their future as assassins. Tearju, shocked, confronts Nemesis regarding Yami. Nemesis answers that Yami was created to fight and cause destruction. Admitting peace triggers this backup mode to protect Yami's identity as a weapon. Nana also demands Nemesis to return Mea's body but Nemesis lies that Mea has always been a false personality of her. Once the transformation is complete, Nemesis greets Darkness.
12	"Prediction is impossible 〜Rampaging Darkness〜" (Japanese: Prediction is impossible 〜暴走する闇〜)	September 29, 2015 (2015-09-29)
Darkness seeks someone to do ecchi with. The principal offers himself but Darkness sends him to the Arctics. She pulls her true target, Rito, out of class and plunges him into the swimming pool. She manipulates the pool's water to grope everyone including Tearju, setting up a place to kill Rito. Darkness enjoys Rito's gestures and plans to inherit his techniques by swallowing him. Momo and Nana intervene, but Darkness creates clones of Rito who molest them. They respond by making everyone, including Rito, evacuate. Darkness then recalls how she first awakened when she lost Tearju. She attacked the organization, split Planet Kild in half, and ended up battered in front of Ryouko. Nemesis is satisfied with Darkness until she mentions her desire to toy with Rito because of his mastery with molestation. Meanwhile in class, Yui tries to silence everyone about Rito's kidnapping but Lala chooses to investigate, sensing serious danger. Yui and Haruna later investigate on their own with Yui suspecting that Lala's inventions are causing it. They bump into Rito and Darkness in whom the latter demonstrates her wormhole ability by indirectly groping Haruna and Yui. When Darkness prepares to fatally attack Rito, Lala arrives. Darkness also sends Momo and Nana to Mea's apartment. Nana observes the room and confirms that Nemesis is lying about Mea. As for Mea, she orders Nemesis to return her body but Nemesis refuses stating that they were born to coexist. Nemesis promises Mea to return her body after Darkness kills Rito but Mea objects. Mea also has friends and no longer needs to rely on Nemesis. Like Ren and Run, people can separate at adulthood. Nemesis refuses and restrains Mea more until Oshizu, summoned by Mea, performs exorcism.
13	"Power and power 〜Protector and the Protected〜" (Japanese: Power and power 〜守るものと守られるもの〜)	October 29, 2015 (2015-10-29) [6]
Nana and Momo return to school and arrive just when Oshizu completes her exorcism. As Nana and Mea reconcile, Nemesis materializes, applauding Mea for her strategy. Momo is curious about Nemesis's form and analyzes it until Nana calls everyone to help Lala. Mea defies Nemesis orders and joins in. Meanwhile, Darkness attacks Lala with a large clone of Rito. Lala dodges and destroys it much to Darkness surprise. As they fight, Momo, Nana, and Mea meet up with bystanders Yui and Haruna. Mea reassures everyone noting that Yami is currently experiencing a nightmare. Suddenly, Darkness destroys Lala's sword and attacks her with molestation. Lala counters by using her inventions to take Rito. Lala asks Rito to stay with her as she deflects Darkness's pillar of light attack with her tail beam. The pillar knocks Lala and Rito to Haruna's apartment, but Lala manages to destroy it. However, as a consequence for using lots of power, Lala shrinks into a little child like her father. Darkness mocks the Deviluke's and tries to continue fighting until Zastin and his bodyguards arrive. They attempt to eliminate Darkness but Momo and Nana arrive, restraining Zastin. Mea also arrives and confronts Darkness ensuring another fight. As they fight, Mea confirms flaws with Darkness: There is too little power output and too much emphasis on Rito's perversion, indicating an incomplete transformation and that Yami is still conscious. Because Rito is responsible for the flaw, Momo and Nana demand Rito to think of a strategy to attack Darkness. Rito's actions will expand the flaw and crash the transformation. Mea buys time by letting Darkness attack her and waste her powers. After Darkness ties Mea on a beanstalk, Rito arrives with his plan: molest Darkness on his own will.
14	"Bright future 〜Thank You〜" (Japanese: Bright future 〜ありがとう〜)	October 29, 2015 (2015-10-29)
Haruna and Yui discuss the events with Ryouko. Tearju is also concerned that Darkness could destroy the town but Haruna reassures Tearju that Rito will save Yami. On the beanstalk, Mea, Momo, and Nana prepare for Rito's plan. By molesting Darkness on his own will, Darkness will mentally break down, crashing the transformation. At first, Darkness interprets Rito's plan as another accidental gesture, but when Rito lands in front of Darkness, he mimics the principal and thoroughly molests Darkness. Darkness becomes confused and goes berserk causing her transformation to wear off. One of Darkness's feathers sticks to Mea allowing her to see how Rito implanted that 'bug' on Yami. Rito continues to molest until he gets slapped with the "I hate ecchi" quote, indicating that Yami has awakened. Momo and Nana thank Rito while Mea welcomes Yami back. The next day, life returns to normal except for Lala who is still shrunk. At school, Yami apologizes to everyone about the incident; she also gives Lala a large supply of milk as an apology for making her shrink. Lala assures Yami that she will recover soon unlike Gid. However, Yami falls short of apologizing to Rito. The following night, Yami visits Tearju and Ryouko while Rito escapes from Zastin's curiosity over his method to defeat Darkness. As they both meet, Yami thanks Rito and was about to confess to him about her feelings but is interrupted by Rito's loud apology for molesting her. Yami stuffs him with Taiyaki leading to another incident. Yami denounces her ecchiness while helping him get a drink, leaving Mea curious about Yami's heart. Nemesis is also disappointed as she hoped for the return of the Galactic Wars and their future as weapons. Mea invites Nemesis to the peaceful world but Nemesis instead will continue to observe from the shadows. Rito gets late for home and searches for Yami, who hides herself from him. Momo sees Principal frozen in ice on TV as a discovered yeti.

To Love-Ru Darkness 2nd (2016–2017 OVA series)

Directed by Atsushi Ootsuki, the first three To Love-Ru Darkness 2nd OVAs take place 2 days after To Love-Ru Darkness 2nd. The fourth OVA adapts an omake chapter released after the end of the To Love-Ru Darkness manga.

As Rito prepares to sleep, Nemesis sneaks into his room and wants him to tell her a ghost story. Nemesis begs Rito until Momo intervenes. She volunteers hoping that Nemesis would leave afterwards. As Nemesis and Rito listen to Momo's ghost story, Nemesis criticizes it. She demonstrates her modification by using candle wax to molest Rito. Momo fights back with her own seduction and gets milkea flowers out of her Ddialer and pours their nectar on herself. Then she rubs on Rito's chest and slowly moves up and down creating a harem model. Nemesis also pours some on herself and then rubs equally with Momo. The fighting between Nemesis and Momo wakes Mikan up. When Mikan checks on Rito, Nemesis escapes in time to give Mikan the wrong picture. As Mikan disciplines Rito and Momo, Nemesis notes to be careful of Mikan because she thinks that Mikan is the only thing she is afraid of. Mikan talks with Yami and notices her uneasiness with Tearju. As Mikan discusses it with Rito, Momo receives a call that Ryouko needs extra help at her clinic. Knowing that Tearju lives with Ryouko, Mikan accepts hoping to get Yami interact with Tearju. Momo also gets Rito to participate by turning him into Riko. Although Riko gets molested by a patient and needs Yami to intervene, the rest of the day goes well. Afterwards, Ryouko finds Tearju missing after heading to the basement. Yami goes to search and drags Riko along. As they head down the stairs, Riko encourages Yami to reunite with Tearju but Yami declines. She confronts Riko but quietly thanks her. They suddenly hear Tearju scream and find a medical robot molesting her. She accidentally tripped and activated it. The robot spots Riko and Yami and performs procedures by stripping them and applying bandages. Yami demands to Tearju to escape, but Tearju refuses, choosing not to leave her daughter behind. As the robot attempts to cast gauze bandages on Tearju and Riko, Yami destroys it. She also receives an unwanted surprise from Riko.
2	"Mother ～An Angel Too Beautiful～" Transcription: "Mother ～Utsukushi sugiru tenshi～" (Japanese: Mother ～美しすぎる天使～)	July 4, 2016 (2016-07-04)
The episode opens with Mikan and Rito peacefully shopping for groceries, accompanied by Celine. As they leave the store and begin walking home, they notice a dispute between two delinquents, which is stopped by a mysterious woman with pink hair, a veil, and a beautiful voice, who then speaks to Mikan and Rito, before being interrupted by the principal, who she then convinces to work for the good of the world. Then Lala, Momo, and Nana come up and introduce her as their mother. They go back to the apartment, and find it covered in security men. Momo worries that her mother will find out about the Harem Plan, thinking that she will not approve. They then all speak to the mother, named Sephie Michaela Deviluke, and ask her about her veil. Peke tells them that Sephie a Charmian, and so if men were to see her without it they would immediately turn into beasts. Sephie decides stay for dinner, and afterwards all the Devilukeans and Mikan go to the cyber world Nana created for her animals to take a bath, while Rito puts Celine to sleep. However, Celine runs off, into the magical cyber world, and Rito chases her. While looking, he accidentally trips and crashes into Sephie, grabbing her breasts and veil. When Rito sees Sephie's face unveiled, he freezes, and Peke, assuming he's turned into a beast, uses Nana's panties to restrain him as Sephie runs - right into a group of Nana's animals who, enraptured by her beauty, chase her. Rito, meanwhile, informs Peke that he has kept his reasoning, and then helps Sephie (who has run back to them, away from the animals) escape. When they sit down to hide from the animals, Sephie remarks on how similar Rito is (especially the expression in his eyes) to her husband, who was also unaffected by her charm. Rito also accidentally reveals the Harem Plan. The others, alerted by Peke, hurry to where they are, and Rito is attacked by Nana, who assumes he has turned into a beast. When it is revealed that he is unaffected, all are amazed. After this, they all go back to the house and Sephie has to leave. Before leaving, she whispers to Momo to do what she thinks is right, and to give it her best. Momo realizes that she has found out about her plan and is stunned at her approval. After Sephie leaves, Mikan calls her own mother, wanting to hear her voice. The episode ends with Sephie thinking on her first encounter with her future husband, Gid Lucione Deviluke, who saved her life during the galactic war. While going back she wishes them good luck for Rito.
3	"First Accident? ～First Time....～" Transcription: "First Accident? ～Saisho no Jikan....～" (Japanese: First Accident？ ～最初の時間....～)	December 2, 2016 (2016-12-02)
The episode begins with Haruna and Lala (still in her child form) having some tea. Lala calls Rito to come over to her house, much to Haruna's embarrassment. She even plans to have her confess her feelings to Rito, or giving him a sudden kiss if she can't do it. Then, Rito arrived to her home with the flowers that Momo told him to give her. As they entered her room, Rito accidentally stepped on Lala's mecha ball (that she's working to get her back to her original age temporarily) and caused him and Haruna to shrink down, leaving them naked (as their clothes remained at normal size). Giving them tissues as clothes, Lala told them that the effects will last about an hour, which unfortunately led to a bad time as Haruna's parents show up for a visit. Peke has Lala disguised as Haruna and joins in on their conversation. Next, when Haruna and Rito fall safely on the floor with her clothes, her dog, Maron, begins to sense her and they hide underneath her panties. Before Rito is about to have their chance to make a run for it, Haruna stopped him and they kissed each other accidentally after Maron leaves when he heard Lala's voice, thought to be Haruna. After having dinner with Mikan and Nana, Rito is delighted that he finally has his kiss with Haruna, but he started to worry if this experience might make her hate him. While he was being unexpectedly seduced by Momo, Haruna started to feel worried as well if the kiss might have made Rito uncomfortable. At school, while Nana is having conversations with Mea about babies born in the cyber safari, Rito started to stay away from Haruna, which makes Haruna think he hated her. After helping Rito escort from Yui and Run, Momo convinced him to confess his feelings towards Haruna, while Oshizu, who she told the whole thing to, wants her to do the same with Rito. Next, Rito and Haruna meet up and they feel anxious about what they want to say. However, before Rito was about to confess his feelings, Haruna abruptly apologized to him, much to his shock. They decide to let it slide and feel relieved that they're not angry at each other, much to Oshizu's disappointment at her for not confessing her feelings to him. Suddenly, the Kyu-Octopuses appeared with Nana and Mea around its tentacles, including Oshizu. Then, one of them grabbed Rito and Haruna, leading him into his accidental position with her. Before Momo can make her escape from the situation they're in, one of the Kyu-Octopuses appeared in front of her.
4	"Multiplication ～From the Front and From Behind～" Transcription: "Multiplication ～Mae kara ushirokara～" (Japanese: Multiplication ～前から後ろから～)	November 2, 2017 (2017-11-02)
During the night, Mikan appears to let Lala know it's bath time, but she told she works on something new for an invention. During an unexpected fight at school between Nemesis, Mea and Yami, Lala brought along a robot cat called Nyan-Nyan Copy-kun, under Ryouko's request and shows it to Rito and Haruna. When Rito tripped and bumps into the cat, it electrocuted him and ran away. Then, when Rito sneezes, a clone of himself appears. Lala informs him if he can pull the robotic cat's tail, the effects will reset. During his chase at the cat, numerous Rito copies kept populating every time he sneezes, and gets into embarrassing situations with other girls, except Momo and Nemesis on the school rooftop. Celine helped Haruna find the cat which is asleep in the bushes, meaning she stopped the copying process. At night, Mikan, Lala, Momo, and Nana at home see numerous Rito clones still present until the effects wear off, Lala says that she didn't know that the copy effect would be worsening. Nana thought that it was the end of Earth. Momo says "If mecha wasn't found the Earth might have ended up covered in Rito-sans. Run wanted one for herself, for Yui's disapproval. Outside the house whole street is covered in hundreds of clones of himself. The episode cuts to black and Rito's sneeze is heard for the last time.
