Turks in Belgium, also referred to as Turkish Belgians or Belgian Turks are people of full or partial Turkish ethnicity living in Belgium. The majority of Belgian Turks descend from the Republic of Turkey; however, there has also been significant Turkish migration from other post-Ottoman countries including ethnic Turkish communities which have come to Belgium from the Balkans, the island of Cyprus, and more recently Iraq and Syria.

The Turkey women's national volleyball team is formed by the Turkish Volleyball Federation (TVF) and represents Turkey in international CEV and FIVB organizations.

Taraf was a liberal newspaper in Turkey. It had distinguished itself by opposing interference by the Turkish military in the country's social and political affairs. It was distributed nationwide, and had been in circulation since November 15, 2007. On July 27, 2016, the newspaper was closed under a statutory decree during the state of emergency after the 2016 Turkish coup d'état attempt, due to its links with the coup plotters' Gülen movement.

Women's football in Turkey is the women's branch of football in Turkey and is governed by the Turkish Football Federation (TFF).

Turks in Sweden or Swedish Turks are people of ethnic Turkish origin living in Sweden. The majority of Swedish Turks descend from the Republic of Turkey; however there has also been significant Turkish migration waves from other post-Ottoman countries including ethnic Turkish communities which have come to Sweden from the Balkans, the island of Cyprus, and more recently Iraq and Syria.

Ataşehir Belediyespor is a Turkish sports club based in the Ataşehir district of Istanbul. It is known for its women's football team that won the Turkish League championship in 2011, the fourth year of its existence. They defended their title successfully in 2012.

The 1948–49 season was Galatasaray SK's 45th in existence and the club's 37th consecutive season in the Istanbul Football League.
