The Wests Tigers is an Australian professional rugby league football team, based in the Inner West of Sydney and South Western Sydney. The Tigers have competed in the National Rugby League (NRL) since being formed at the end of the 1999 NRL season as a joint-venture club between the Balmain Tigers and the Western Suburbs Magpies. The Wests Tigers started playing in the 2000 NRL season and they won their maiden premiership in 2005. It is one of only two clubs that has never lost a grand final in which it has participated. The club also won the final edition of the World Sevens in 2004. The club has only qualified for three finals series since their inception.
Benjamin Quentin Marshall is a New Zealand professional rugby league coach and former player who is the head coach of the Wests Tigers in the NRL.
Christopher Heighington is a former professional rugby league footballer. An English international, Country New South Wales and NRL All Stars representative, his positions were lock, second-row and prop. He played for the Wests Tigers and Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks, winning a premiership with each, before finishing his career with the Newcastle Knights.
Robert Peter Farah is a former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 2000s and 2010s. An Australian international, Lebanese international and captain of New South Wales Blues team, he has played the majority of his professional career with the Wests Tigers, with whom he won the 2005 NRL Premiership. Between 2006 and 2012, Farah played for City in six City vs Country representative games, captaining the team from 2009 onwards. He played for the South Sydney Rabbitohs during the 2017 and 2018 National Rugby League seasons.
Prime Minister's XIII, or sometimes informally referred to as the PM's XIII, a representative rugby league team, comprising Australian players from National Rugby League clubs that did not qualify for the NRL Finals, or whose teams were knocked out during the first three weeks of the finals.

Kevin Naiqama is a Fiji international former rugby league footballer who plays as a centre or winger for the Western Suburbs Rosellas in the Newcastle Rugby League and as a fullback or five-eighth for Fiji at the International level.
The 2010 All Stars Match was the first time the event was held. The match was a pre season game between representative teams, Indigenous Australians versus the best in the National Rugby League and took place at the Gold Coast's Skilled Park on 13 February 2010. The Indigenous team featured 20 players of aboriginal descent chosen by public votes. Preston Campbell was selected automatically as Indigenous captain. The NRL All Stars featured one player from each of the 16 NRL teams as well as the Australian and New Zealand captains and deputy captains. Along with other rule changes exclusive to the match, the game trialled a new "Double Try" rule where a team can choose to swap a conversion attempt for a second try attempt.
The 2011 Wests Tigers season was the twelfth in the joint-venture club's history. They competed in the National Rugby League's 2011 Telstra Premiership, finishing the regular season 4th to qualify for their 2nd consecutive play-off series. They were knocked out of the finals by eventual grand finalists, the New Zealand Warriors. To date, this is the last time the Tigers have made the finals
Aaron Woods is a former Australian rugby league forward who captained Wests Tigers and played for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks, St. George Illawarra Dragons and Manly Warringah Sea Eagles in the National Rugby League (NRL). He has played at representative level for Australia, Prime Minister's XIII, NSW City Origin and New South Wales in the State of Origin series.
James Tedesco, nicknamed "Teddy", is a professional rugby league footballer who plays as a fullback and captains the Sydney Roosters in the NRL and Australia. A former Australian International Test and New South Wales State of Origin captain, Tedesco is widely regarded as one of the best rugby league fullbacks of all time.
David Nofoaluma is a Serbia and Samoa international rugby league footballer, and currently playing for Baroudeurs de Pia XIII in the Super XIII.
Luke Brooks is an Australian professional rugby league footballer who plays as a five-eighth for the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles in the National Rugby League (NRL) in 2024. He previously played for the Wests Tigers in the NRL as a halfback. He made an appearance for the NRL All Stars team in 2015.
The 2018 Wests Tigers season was the 19th in the Wests Tigers's history. They completed the NRL's 2018 Telstra Premiership season in ninth place and did not qualify for the finals.
