Yes! PreCure 5 GoGo! is the fifth Pretty Cure anime television series produced by Toei Animation. It serves as a sequel to the previous series, in which the girls are granted new powers to save the Four Rulers of the kingdoms surrounding the Palmier Kingdom and protect Flora and the Cure Rose Garden from the evil organization Eternal. The series aired in Japan from February 3, 2008 to January 25, 2009, replacing Yes! PreCure 5 in its timeslot and was succeeded by Fresh Pretty Cure! . The series uses three pieces of theme music, one opening and two ending themes. The opening theme is "Pretty Cure 5, Full Throttle Go Go!" (プリキュア5、フル·スロットルGO GO! Purikyua Faibu, Furu Surottoru Gō Gō!), performed by Kudou. From episode 1-29, the first ending theme is "Te to Te Tsunaide Heart mo Link!!" (手と手つないでハートもリンク!! Te to Te Tsunaide Hāto mo Rinku!!, "From Hand to Hand, the Heart also Links!!") performed by Miyamoto with Young Fresh. The second ending "Ganbalance de Dance ~Kibō no Relay~" (ガンバランス de ダンス~希望のリレー~ Ganbalance de Dance ~Kibō no Rirē~, "Ganbalance de Dance ~Relay of Hope~) was used for episodes 30-48 of the series, and performed by the Cure Quartet, comprising Gojo, Uchiyae, Kudou, and Miyamoto. Two insert songs were also used in the series, the first being "Twin Tail no Mahō" (ツイン・テールの魔法 Tsuin Tēru no Mahō?, "Magic of the Pigtails") by Ise as Urara Kasugano in episode 18, and the other "Ashita, Hana Saku. Egao, Saku." (明日、花咲く。笑顔、咲く。"Tomorrow the Flower Blooms. The Smile Blooms.") by the Cure Quartet, sung right before the ending theme played on episode 48.

After defeating Despariah, life has returned to normal for Nozomi, Rin, Urara, Komachi and Karen. One day, a mysterious boy named Shiro Amai (Syrup), who claims to be a delivery boy, delivers a mysterious letter to Nozomi at school. Nozomi and the others open the letter and a hologram of a woman named Flora appears, requesting their presence at a place known as the Cure Rose Garden. When Scorp of Eternal attacks, the Rose Pact grants them new power and allows them to transform into Pretty Cure once more.

One day, the Rose Pact shines and Flora appears before the Cures. She informs them of a prophecy stating that they must "Combine the power of the red and blue rose" and predicts that they will be in danger when something with anger and hate appears. When Scorp and Bunbee both attack, a mysterious warrior who calls herself Milky Rose appears to aid them.

After the fight, the Cures wonder who Milky Rose is and if she is their partner. Syrup suspects that she may be a member of Eternal. Milky Rose reappears to aid them and kills him before leaving.

The Boss attacks the Cure Rose Garden, and despite their efforts, the Cures are defeated. Mailpo appears and delivers letters from all over the world, giving them the power to defeat the Boss. Afterwards, Flora entrusts Nozomi with the duty of guarding the Cure Rose Garden before dying. She is reborn as a seed, which the Cures decide to plant and care for.

Each series revolves around a group of magical girls known as Pretty Cures who battle against evil forces. <i>Yes! PreCure 5</i> Japanese anime television series

Yes! PreCure 5 is a Japanese anime series and the fourth installment in Izumi Todo's Pretty Cure metaseries produced by Toei Animation, featuring the third generation of Cures. The series aired on TV Asahi between February 2007 and January 2008 and received a sequel season, Yes! PreCure 5 GoGo!, which is the franchise's fifth installment and aired between February 2008 and January 2009. Both series were directed by Toshiaki Komura and written by Yoshimi Narita. The character designs were done by Toshie Kawamura, who would go on to work on the character designs for Smile PreCure! and Hug! Pretty Cure. An illustration book of her works was released on February 12, 2014. A manga adaptation was serialized in Kodansha's monthly Nakayoshi magazine. The series has butterflies as its main motif, while GoGo!'s main motif is roses. A sequel anime series focusing on the characters as adults premiered in October 2023.

<i>Pretty Cure All Stars</i> Series of Japanese anime films

Pretty Cure All Stars or Precure All Stars is a series of Japanese anime films produced by Toei Animation based on Izumi Todo's Pretty Cure anime television franchise. Each movie features a storyline which crosses over characters from all Pretty Cure anime series to date. From Dream Stars onwards, the films instead feature Cures from the current series and the previous two series. However, All Stars F returns to the initial format by featuring all 78 Cures. As of September 2023, there are currently 14 main films in the series, All Stars movies are generally released shortly after the premiere of a new Pretty Cure television series. The most recent Pretty Cure team at the time of release generally has the largest involvement with the movie's plot. In the opening scenes of each movie, a running gag occurs, in which the most recent Pretty Cure team bump into older teams by accident. As well, the fairies of Pretty Cure teams know each other as friends. With the exception of A Wonderful Day with Everyone, each movie to date utilizes Miracle Lights, which are small flashlights handed out to audience members during screenings, with the finale encouraging viewers to wave their lights to support the Cures in defeating the main antagonist. The films often have a short segment instructing children on how to use their Lights safely. These Lights have also been made available for certain movies based on the individual series.

Mayumi Gojo is a Japanese singer from Ibaraki Prefecture. She formerly worked under Hyper Voice Managements. Currently she is affiliated with the Love&Light talent management agency. Gojo is known for her theme song performances for anime series such as Ojamajo Doremi, Pretty Cure, and Yumeiro Patissiere. She has performed as part of Project.R and also provides backup chorus for other artists.

<i>Witchy Pretty Cure!</i> Japanese anime television series

Witchy Pretty Cure!, also known as Maho Girls PreCure!, is a Japanese anime television series by Toei Animation and the thirteenth installment in Izumi Todo's Pretty Cure metaseries, featuring the eleventh generation of Cures. The series, directed by Masato Mitsuka and written by Isao Murayama with character design by Emiko Miyamoto, aired on ANN television stations between February 2016 and January 2017, succeeding Go! Princess PreCure in its timeslot, and was succeeded by Kirakira Pretty Cure a la Mode. The series' main topic is friendship, while its motifs are magic and jewelry. An adult animated sequel series has been announced by Toei, and is set to premiere in January 2025 on ANN's Animazing!!! programming block.

Pretty Cure All Stars: Singing with Everyone♪ Miraculous Magic! is a 2016 Japanese animated action fantasy musical film based on the Pretty Cure franchise created by Izumi Todo. Pretty Cure on February 4, 2018. The series' main topics are happiness and creativity, with desserts and animals as its motifs.

Gorgeous Triple Feature!!! is a 2015 Japanese animated action fantasy film based on Pretty Cure franchise created by Izumi Todo, and its twelfth series, Go! Princess PreCure. PreCure 5 GoGo!, which both originally aired between 2007 and 2009, its prior 2006 series, Futari wa Pretty Cure Splash Star, and focuses on an adult Nozomi Yumehara and her friends. The series is directed by Takayuki Hamana at both Toei Animation and Studio Deen, written by Yoshimi Narita, character designed by Atsuko Nakajima from a co-original character concept by Akira Inagami and Toshie Kawamura, and music composed by Naoki Satō. The series aired on NHK Educational TV between October 7 and December 23, 2023.
