Deng Wei Hon FRPS was a Chinese portrait photographer who was a professor at Tsinghua University, China. He was known for his photographic projects such as the Chinese Cultural Celebrity Portrait project, and the World Celebrities project.
Vangelis Rinas is a Greek painter and sculptor. He was born on Samos Island in 1966, but grew up on Ikaria Island in the Northeastern Aegean Sea. He holds an MFA from the Athens School of Fine Arts and lives and works in Athens and New York City. He has created paintings, sculptures, prints and installations. Since 1992, he has had shows in Greece and abroad and participated in international biennales. These include his solo exhibition at the National Art Museum of China in Beijing and his latest solo show at Tenri Cultural Institute in New York. Since 2000, he has presented three solo exhibitions entitled "Endless Sailing". All three included paintings and sculpture. His sculpture has been installed in the National Center for the Performing Arts in Beijing with Chinese ideograms and Braille writing.
Ma Qiang is a Chinese diplomat who served as Chinese Ambassador to South Sudan from 2013 to 2016.
Zhuang Yan was a Chinese diplomat. He served as the first Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Bangladesh from 1976 to 1979, Ambassador to Iran from 1980 to 1982 in the aftermath of the 1979 Iranian Revolution, and Ambassador of Greece from 1983 to 1985.
La Yifan is a Chinese diplomat wo served as Chinese Ambassador to Ethiopia between 2015 and 2017.
Lu Kang is a Chinese diplomat who currently serves as the Chinese Ambassador for Indonesia. He previously served as the Director of the Department of North American and Oceanian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China.
Sun Bigan was a Chinese diplomat. He served as Chinese Ambassador to Saudi Arabia from 1990 to 1994, Chinese Ambassador to Iraq from 1994 to 1998, and Chinese Ambassador to Iran from 1999 to 2002. He died on 12 January 2022, at the age of 80.
