Maung Maung was the seventh president of Burma, and a well-known writer.
Basic Education High School No. 2 Dagon is a public high school located a few miles north of downtown Yangon, Myanmar. The former nationalist high school founded for the children of the common folk, now educates mostly the children of well-to-do Burmese families from Dagon and vicinity. It was one of the first "nationalist schools" opened after the First National Strike against the British rule in Burma.

Wunna Maung Lwin is a Burmese politician and a member of State Administration Council. He was a Minister of Foreign Affairs under Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Min Aung Hlaing after the 2021 Myanmar coup d'état. He previously served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs from March 2011 to March 2016. He is a retired colonel in the Myanmar Army.

Maung Wunna was a two-time Myanmar Motion Picture Academy Awards-winning Burmese director and writer. He came from a family heavily involved in the entertainment industry—his father Thadu was a director and his brother Thu Maung was a prominent singer and actor and Min Lu was a reputed satirist. Maung Wunna died of lung cancer in 2011.
The Myanmar Medical Association is Myanmar's only professional organisation of physicians. Founded in 1949 by Dr. Shwe Thwin, the association has a current membership of approximately 17,000 members (2011). It is administered by a central executive committee and is divided into 33 different societies dedicated to a broad range of medical specialties. MMA holds an annual conference and also provides continued medical education for its members. MMA publishes the Myanmar Medical Journal.
The Office of the President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar is a ministry-level body that serves the President of Myanmar. Since the 2021 Myanmar coup d'état, the position has remained vacant.
The Myanmar Motion Picture Academy Awards are presented annually to honour both artistic and technical excellence of professionals in the Burmese Film Industry of Myanmar. The awards ceremony has been held annually since 1952. Each winner is presented with a golden statue and in recent years also a cash prize.
The cabinet of Thein Sein, headed by President Thein Sein, is the first democratically elected government of Myanmar after the military government. It took office on 30 March 2011 after the 2010 Myanmar general election to 30 March 2016.

The Eternal Mother, a Burmese drama film created by Sin Yaw Mg Mg is based on the true story novel, "Mother and I", by Dr. Khin Maung Win. This is the first cooperated film between Sin Yaw Mg Mg and May Than Nu who did not work together since their separation 12 years ago. Their son, Min Thant Mg Mg, work as a deputy director for this film. This film was aired in Singapore.

Than Swe is a Burmese diplomat and military officer. Since 1 February 2023, he has served as Myanmar's Minister for Foreign Affairs.
