The Saudi ambassador in Moscow is the official representative of the Government in Riyadh to the Government of Russia. He is the Custodian of the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Moscow.

Contents

In September 1990 full diplomatic relations were restored between the Saudi government and the Government of the Soviet Union.

The Unification of Saudi Arabia was a military and political campaign in which the various tribes, sheikhdoms, city-states, emirates, and kingdoms of most of the central Arabian Peninsula were conquered by the House of Saud, or Al Saud. He has also served as foreign minister of Saudi Arabia since 23 October 2019, when he was appointed to that position by a royal decree issued by King Salman. Prince Faisal was born in Frankfurt, West Germany and spent a part of his childhood and young adulthood in that country, which is why he speaks fluent German according to German news media.

Tarfa bint Abdullah Al Sheikh was one of the spouses of Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman, Emir of Nejd, and the mother of Princess Noura and King Faisal.
