The Invicta Fighting Championship also known as Invicta FC, is an American mixed martial arts (MMA) organization for female fighters. [1] It was founded in 2012 by Janet Martin and Shannon Knapp. [2]

Contents

Each fight record has four categories: wins, losses, draws, and no-contests (NC). [3] All fight records in this article are displayed in that order, with fights resulting in a no-contest listed in parentheses.

Kankaanpää started martial arts training at her teens when she was 15 years old with Goju-ryu karate. Later she had interest about combat sports by training submission wrestling and other combat arts. Katja leads the Nordic strawweight rankings and Finnish women, all weight classes MMA rankings. On January 2, 2015 she was awarded 'Nordic Female Fighter of the Year'. The same month, Finnish sports journalists honored her as 'Sportswoman of 2014', category MMA.
