The state of Florida in the United States is a popular location for the filming and setting of movies and television shows, both fictional and non-fictional. The following article provides a list of films and television shows which have been partially or wholly set in or shot in Florida. The listed shows span a wide variety of genres and range from shows almost entirely shot and set in one city (e.g., Miami for The Golden Girls and Miami Vice ) to those containing only a small number of scenes shot or set in Florida (e.g., Lost and Moonraker .

Miami Vice is an American crime drama television series created by Anthony Yerkovich and produced by Michael Mann for NBC. The series stars Don Johnson as James "Sonny" Crockett and Philip Michael Thomas as Ricardo "Rico" Tubbs, two Metro-Dade Police Department detectives working undercover in Miami. The series ran for five seasons on NBC from 1984 to 1989. From the Earth to the Moon is a twelve-part 1998 HBO television miniseries co-produced by Ron Howard, Brian Grazer, Tom Hanks and Michael Bostick. In docudrama format, it tells the story of the Apollo program during the 1960s and early 1970s. Largely based on Andrew Chaikin's 1994 book, A Man on the Moon, the series is known for its accurate telling of the story of Apollo and the special effects under visual director Ernest D. Farino. The series takes its title from, but is not based upon, Jules Verne's 1865 science fiction novel From the Earth to the Moon.

WPBT is a PBS member television station in Miami, Florida, United States. It serves as the flagship station of South Florida PBS, which also owns Boynton Beach–licensed fellow PBS member WXEL-TV and Miami-licensed Class A station WURH-CD. The three stations share transmitter facilities on Northwest 199th Street in Andover; WPBT's studios are located on Northeast 20th Avenue in North Miami. The Atlantis Condominium is a landmark 20-story luxury condominium building in Miami, Florida. It was built between 1980 and 1982 and was designed by the architect Hervin Romney and architectural firm Arquitectonica. The building was exclusively represented and sold by Alicia Cervera of Cervera Real Estate. It is known for its glass facade and primary color scheme and the 5-story palm court which is cut out of the building. The palm court features a red spiral staircase, a hot tub, and a palm tree. The Atlantis's claim to fame was when it was featured on the opening credits of the television series "Miami Vice," and being used as an exterior filming set in two episodes. The building has 96 units and is located at 2025 Brickell Avenue. This building is an icon to the Miami skyline. On April 18, 2012, the AIA's Florida Chapter placed Atlantis on its list of Florida Architecture: 100 Years. 100 Places.
