Geraldo José Rodrigues Alckmin Filho is a Brazilian physician and politician who has served as the 26th vice president of Brazil since 1 January 2023. He previously served as the Governor of São Paulo from 2001 to 2006, and then again from 2011 to 2018, the longest term served in that state since the end of the Military dictatorship in Brazil. He was the Brazilian Social Democracy Party (PSDB) presidential nominee for the 2018 Brazilian presidential election, when he finished in fourth place, as well for the 2006 Brazilian presidential election, when he came in second place, losing in the runoff to then president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
Jose Renato Casagrande is the Governor of the Brazilian state of Espírito Santo. He was initially governor from 1 January 2011, until 1 January 2015. Then, he was elected to a new term as governor in 2018 and was reelected to a third term in 2022.

The former governor, Márcio França, affiliated to the Brazilian Socialist Party (PSB) took office with the resignation of Geraldo Alckmin in 6 April 2018, and was eligible for a second term and ran for reelection.
Márcio Luiz França Gomes is a Brazilian lawyer and politician, member of the Brazilian Socialist Party (PSB), and former governor and vice governor of São Paulo, elected with Geraldo Alckmin in 2014. França assumed the office as governor on 6 April 2018 after Alckmin resigned to run for President of Brazil in the 2018 election. França ran for re-election in 2018, but lost to João Doria by a narrow margin in the run-off.

Wilson José Witzel is a Brazilian politician and lawyer who was the 63rd Governor of the state of Rio de Janeiro. A member of the Social Christian Party, Witzel is a former federal judge and is an ex-marine. On 28 October 2018, he was elected Governor of the State of Rio de Janeiro with a four-year term beginning in January 2019, replacing Luiz Fernando Pezão, until his impeachment in April 2021.
Romeu Zema Neto is a Brazilian businessman, administrator, and politician affiliated with the NOVO party. The current Governor of the state of Minas Gerais, Zema served as the head of the Zema Group, an industrial conglomerate, from 1990 to 2016. First elected in 2018, he won 42.73% of the valid votes, qualifying for a second round against Antônio Anastasia. Winning with 72.80% of the votes, he was inaugurated in 2019.
Eduardo Figueiredo Cavalheiro Leite is a Brazilian politician and governor of the state of Rio Grande do Sul. During the state's 2018 election, he won with 53.62% of the vote. Leite was elected governor at 33 years old, becoming the youngest governor in Brazil. In July 2021, Leite came out as gay during an interview for the Brazilian talk show Conversa com Bial, becoming the first openly gay governor in Brazil's history.
Municipal elections took place in Brazil on 15 November 2020. Electors chose Mayors, Vice-Mayors and City Councillors of all 5,568 cities of the country. The partisan conventions took place between 31 August and 16 September. They were the first elections since Bolsonaro's election as President.
Cláudio Bomfim de Castro e Silva is a Brazilian lawyer and politician, former Vice Governor of Rio de Janeiro, who assumed his duties and powers as Acting Governor since the suspension of governor Wilson Witzel and current Governor of the state since Witzel's impeachment. Member of the Social Christian Party (PSC), according to historical data, he is the second youngest Vice Governor of the state in history, behind only of Roberto Silveira, who was elected at the age of 32 in the 1950s. However, he's the youngest to be elected in the state since the redemocratization.
The 2018 Tocantins gubernatorial special election was summoned by the Superior Electoral Court after the decision that removed the Governor and Vice Governor of Tocantins, who won the 2014 election, by the allegation of abuse of economic power. In the face of such sentence, the President of the Legislative Assembly, Mauro Carlesse, took office as Acting Governor until a new voting decided who would command the state government. Altogether, seven candidacies were registered for the election. Carlesse ran for Governor and defeated Senator Vicentinho Alves in the second round with more than 75% of the valid votes. The term of Carlesse ends on 1 January 2019, when the Governor-elect in the October election will take office.

The 2022 Rio Grande do Sul state election took place in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil on 2 October 2022. Voters elected a Governor, Vice Governor, one Senator, 31 representatives for the Chamber of Deputies and 55 Legislative Assembly members, with a possible second round to be held on 30 October 2022. Former governor Eduardo Leite, was eligible for a second term and announced that he's running for reelection.
The 2022 Paraná state election took place in the state of Paraná, Brazil on 2 October 2022. Voters elected a Governor, Vice Governor, one Senator, 30 representatives for the Chamber of Deputies, and 54 Legislative Assembly members. The incumbent Governor, Ratinho Júnior, of the Social Democratic Party (PSD), was reelected in the first round with 69.64% of the votes.
The 2022 Ceará state election took place in the state of Ceará, Brazil on 2 October 2022. Voters elected the President and Vice President of the Republic, a Governor, Vice Governor of the State and a Senator of the Republic with two alternates, in addition to 22 Federal Deputies and 46 State Deputies. Those elected will take office on January 1 or February 1 of 2023 for terms on office lasting for four years.

Eduardo Corrêa Riedel is a Brazilian politician who is the 12th and current Governor of Mato Grosso do Sul. A member of the Brazilian Social Democracy Party, he previously served as the 27th Secretary of State for Infrastructure and Housing in Mato Grosso do Sul from 2021 to 2022 under Government Reinaldo Azambuja and 20th Secretary of State for Government and Strategic Management of Mato Grosso do Sul from 2015 to 2021.
The Government Reinaldo Azambuja began on January 1, 2015, and will end on December 31, 2022, Reinaldo Azambuja was elected in 2014 as the 11th governor of Mato Grosso do Sul, defeating candidate Delcídio do Amaral. Azambuja was re-elected governor in the following election, in the second election he defeated Odilon de Oliveira.
Celina Leão Hizim Ferreira is a Brazilian business administrator and politician affiliated to the Progressistas (PP), who currently serves as the vice-governor of the Federal District and was the acting governor after the removal of Ibaneis Rocha for 90 days by the Supreme Federal Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes. Ibaneis was removed after being accused of ignoring security flaws during the 2023 Brazilian Congress attack. The decision to remove Ibaneis from office ended up being endorsed in plenary of the Supreme Federal Court by 9 votes to 2, but it was later revoked by Alexandre de Moraes on 15 March 2023.
