Taunus Mountain range in Germany

The Taunus is a mountain range in Hesse, Germany, located north of Frankfurt. The tallest peak in the range is Großer Feldberg at 878 m; other notable peaks are Kleiner Feldberg and Altkönig.

The Gurktal Alps are a mountain range of the Central Eastern Alps in Austria, named after the valley of the Gurk River.

An A Tower was a standard type of communication tower that was built in all provinces (Bezirke) of East Germany during the 1950s. These towers were 25 metres high, their roofs were equipped with a host of antennas and were painted green. Several had wooden cladding.

Annemarie Bostroem

Annemarie Bostroem was a German poet, playwright, and lyricist. She lived most recently in the Prenzlauer Berg neighborhood of Berlin.

Arkenberge

The Arkenberge is a hill in the Berlin municipality of Blankenfelde in the borough of Pankow. The name was originally given to a natural hill ridge on the site, and the nearby settlement of Arkenberge was named after that chain of little hills. In 1984 a rubble heap for building waste was established east of this settlement. In January 2015, it was determined that the top of this tip had reached a height of 120.7 m above sea level (NHN). Since then it has been ranked as the highest point in the state of Berlin, superseding the Teufelsberg.

Taunus Nature Park

The Taunus Nature Park is a nature park in Central Germany with an area of 134,775 hectares (1347.75 km2) in the Central Upland range of the Taunus. It is one of two Hessian nature parks in the Taunus and the second largest nature park in Hesse.

Anke Domscheit-Berg German politician and activist

Anke Domscheit-Berg is a German politician and activist. She has been a member of the Bundestag since 2017, when she was elected on the party list of The Left, without being a party member. She joined the party in 2021 following her nomination to the top female position on the party election list in the state of Brandenburg. Previously, she was a member of the Pirate Party Germany and the Greens. She is married to Daniel Domscheit-Berg. In 2010 she received the Berliner Frauenpreis.
