The mayor of Kozhikode (formerly mayor of Calicut) is the first citizen of the Indian city of Kozhikode (formerly Calicut). This person is the chief of the Kozhikode Municipal Corporation.

Kozhikode, also known as Calicut, is a city along the Malabar Coast in the state of Kerala in India. Known as the City of Spices, Kozhikode is listed among the UNESCO's Cities of Literature.
Government Medical College, Kozhikode is a public medical college in Kozhikode, in the Indian state of Kerala. With over 3025 beds, it is currently the largest hospital in India and tenth largest in the world. Calicut Half Marathon is a running and sporting event conducted annually by IIM Kozhikode. First initiated in 2010, the event now takes place annually in the month of February or March. Over 5000 people participate in the marathon every year. The event consists of timed races of 21 kilometres and 10 kilometres and a non-competitive "Dream Run" of 3 kilometres, which is not timed. The total prize money for both the men's and Women's categories combined for the timed races is INR 4,50,000.

Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) is the civic body that governs the city of Visakhapatnam, largest city of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Thottathil Ravindran is an Indian politician who is the MLA of Kozhikode North constituency since May 2021. Previously he was mayor of Kozhikode corporation from 2016 to 2020.
